"Where are Arya and Aya?" ask Wildan who did not find his son and daughter at the dinner table.
Wildan slammed his chair back before he took the seat. Looking to the right and to the left. It was just him and Nindia.
Suddenly the man felt lonely. The feeling became erratic, but still displaying a fine facial look in front of Nindia.
Nindia came out of the kitchen. In his hand was a pot of water. Put it on the table before answering Wildan's question. He had just finished serving food after it was too late to make dinner.
"Say I said I won't have dinner. Then, Arya's sister said there's still some business outside."
"Arya called home?" ask Wildan curious.
"Yes yeah," replied Nindia. The girl was sitting herself in the chair that Aya used to use.
"He's been good to you? No more pranks?" ask Wildan in succession for astonishment.
His son who was not nice to Nindia now wants to report if he does not return home. He was too busy to know what was going on in his own house.
"Sir Arya is fine."
Nindia took Wildan's empty plate and filled it with rice and some side dishes. The old man received the plate thread and sighed in disappointment. Nindia rubbed the middle-aged man's hand gently.
"They're adults. Now I can't accompany my father to dinner. So what if they're married?" Wildan said with a soft word.
"Then Nindia will accompany father" said Nindia giving a soothing smile.
The girl was like a gift God gave to this family. Maybe he should give me a little gift. No exaggeration, because this girl is his home back in color.
Wildan returned that smile. Clapped the girl who was already considered like her own daughter. As if saying thank you without a voice.
The two began to eat dinner in silence. Wildan did not like to make a sound when he ate. Nindiaun also hesitated to find a topic of discussion, because they know Wildan's habits.
Nindia did not know why Aya did not want to fill her stomach. The girl entered the room immediately after school. He only saw the girl who breezed in without greeting him at all.
Only this time the girl did not meet him first. Nindia tried to eavesdrop if there was anything. But, only the void welcomed his hearing. There was no sound whatsoever that Nindia could capture.
When I was about to break in, the room was already locked. He knocked on Aya's door a few times, but only the answer was okay. It was like she was hiding something from Nindia.
Nindia gave up and started leaving Aya's room. Hope tomorrow the girl will come back cheerful. Talk to her again and cook together. If not, he would definitely find a way for Aya to share the story with him.
"Nindia won't try college?"
The sudden question thrown by Wildan left Nindia in shock.
Fortunately, he did not choke on his own food. College, that's the word in the lamb. But now he's rethinking about it. He can't possibly be selfish and ends up abandoning Sasha.
Compared to him, he wants his sister more successful. Get a decent job and make their mother happy. Not that Wildan's housework isn't good. But, everyone is definitely expecting a job that is a little moving but high salary.
Nindia shook her head with a smile. The girl said, "Nindia likes to work well."
"really? Though I want to finance it," said Wildan confidently.
"Nindia really no longer has interest well," said the girl confidently.
"You know what else if you don't want to. Work hard. Tell me you need something." Wildan stroked Nindia's head slowly and fondly.
"Thank you, yeah" said Nindia. Wildan simply nodded and left the dining room to return to the room.
Nindia tidied up the dirty dishes and put them into the sink first. Afterwards the girl kept the remaining side dishes in the upper cabinet. Of course he remembered there were still two people in this house who had not eaten.
Who knows if one of them wants to have dinner. Nindia must prevent the Aryan from eating stale food. The man did not even go to work because of diarrhea.
Dropped with dirty dishes, Nindia mustian all the lights of the house off. There are those in the front room and some places that are still lit.
"Sir Arya has brought her own key yet huh?" Nindia walked to the front door. Wondering if the man had brought a spare key to enter the house.
Doubted by her answer, Nindia decided to wait. He will watch television to drive away the burnout.
The complex is dark and deserted. There are only street lights that illuminate. He went inside and locked the door. Make sure the side door and the jedela are all locked. The girl walked into the living room and turned on the television.
I don't know how long he's been watching television, but his eyes are getting heavy. Nindia almost closed her eyes, but she heard a knock on the door. Resuscitate and stretch your muscles before opening the door.
Arya stood in front of the door with an appearance that was far from neat. The coat that was on the shoulder. The tie has also loosened, in addition to the clothes that have come out of the pants.
Nindia stepped aside so that the man could enter the house. The girl then locked the door. He intended to return to the room, but his eyes caught Arya sitting in the living room.
He approached Arya who closed her eyes with her body leaning on the sofa. The girl said, "Don't you need anything?"
"Is there food?" ask Arya quickly.
The stomach needs to be filled, but the body wants to be refreshed. Touching warm water to relax stiff muscles. His eyes were heavy to open.
"So, will Nindia heat up?"
"Please. I want to take a bath first Nin," Arya said before moving into the room.
Nindia rushed back to the kitchen. Warm up food before arranging it back to the dining table. It didn't take 15 minutes for Arya to come back.
The man came back in a casual shirt and knee-length pants. Her hair was wet with a few drops of water falling.
"Nin, take enough to bring it to the family room huh."
Nindia answered 'yes' and ate as the man asked. Bring to the family room with a glass of water.
"Please accompany Nin."
Again Nindia just nodded her ass. Although his eyes were already heavy, he could not possibly refuse the person who had already hired him. There was no conversation, only the sound of the television and the earthy chewing of Arya in that space.
Nindia was no longer able, and then fell asleep on the sofa. Arya glanced at a glance and resumed eating.
"Son't eat dinner tonight."
