Sam sitting next to Sonya who was sitting pensively alone in front of the operating room, Hardan asked her to help supervise the installation process of Sonya's papa ring, with all of Hardan's costs bearing it.

"No need to worry, your father will be fine" he said calming Sonya down while patting her on the back.

"Only Papa now do I have... I can't imagine my life without her." sighed Sonya softly.

sam muttered in his heart.

"Sonya.., this includes non-surgical procedures, even your Papa can go straight home after the ring installation is successful. You pray that the ring will be attached. Yeah..." Sam calms Sonya down.

As Doctor Daniel steps out of the operating room, Sam and Sonya rush to him, "How's Niel...?" ask Sam.

After nodding, Doctor Daniel went back into the operating room. Sam put his arm around Sonya's shoulder, leading her back to the seat they had been sitting in.

"Don't hesitate to call me if you need anything." exclaimed Sam while handing back the Sonya phone he borrowed.

Sonya nodded while looking at Sam's name and phone number already stored in her contact list.

"Yes, I'm sorry, yes." said Sam, once again Sonya nodded.

The crying that Sonya had been holding since Doctor Daniel came out broke after Sam had already moved away from her.

Today Hardan decided not to go to the office, he did not want to be away from his wife who had just become pregnant. So Alex decided he wasn't going to the office today, so Alex was going to the hospital to see his in-laws.

Alex opens his in-laws' room but only finds it empty. Alex frowned feeling confused, should his in-laws have returned to this room, because the process of installing the ring only takes half an hour.

Alex tries to contact Sonya, but is not picked up, eventually she steps her foot into the operating room, thinking maybe her operation is down.

From a distance Alex saw Sonya sitting in the front seat of the operating room, with her head bowed.

"Why are you crying...?" ask Alex while sitting next to Sonya.

Awfully, Alex pats Sonya on the back, usually Alex sees Hardan doing that if he is calming his wife who is sad, like Sonya at this time.

"Leave me alone." said Sonya, trying not to sound choked.

But Alex doesn't want to leave her, Alex feels the urge that's building up inside her, to pull Sonya into her arms, and let Sonya cry on her shoulder.

And when her wits returned, Sonya was already in her arms, bringing out all her sadness in Alex's chest, until her tears soaked Alex's suit and shirt.

Alex sighed softly, he was still shocked by what he had done just now, bringing the crying Sonya into his arms, and now it was too late for Alex to push Sonya's body away from him.

Still with awkward movements, Alex's right hand patted Sonya's back, while her left hand stroked her hair.

Then the feeling came again, a feeling that left a very painful pain to Alex, to make Alex's body instantly freeze. Only a little of his common sense was left that was able to keep Alex still, and not push Sonya's body at that very moment.

Slowly Sonya turned relaxed in Alex's arms, her body did not tremble anymore because of her crying, she had already stopped crying. Then Sonya moved her body slowly away from Alex and sat back up straight.

"Ma... I'm sorry to wet your shirt and suit." said Sonya grimly.

"It's not a big deal, as long as it can make you calmer." said Alex lazy, then stood up from his chair.

"Doctor Daniel said earlier, for one reason or another, the possibility of postoperative complications in Papa is even greater... And it worries me." sighed Sonya softly.

Alex sat back in his chair, "Whatever the outcome might be, the important thing is that you did your best for Papa. Man can only strive, but God determines."

Sonya looked down again, "Yes I know.., I'm just not ready to lose Papa.." he sighed while playing his fingernails.

"I didn't know you were here, Lex, so I just brought lunch for Sonya." cried Sam suddenly.

Alex immediately stood up and patted Sam on the shoulder, "It's okay Sam, and make sure Sonya eats it, because this morning she didn't have time to eat breakfast." said Alex, then left the two of them.
