Chasing the Love of Alex
I Missed Him so Much

Ryo and Sonya sat side by side in the bean bag of one of the bars facing the beach, and facing directly towards the western sea, while looking at the sunset which showed a golden tinge of color, the sun looked as if it was descending right at the sea line.

The eyes themselves are golden, that is why tourists usually call it the golden sunset. And interestingly again, there is a swing board for two people on the beach, which is a bit jutting into the sea.

Many tourists queue to ride the swing and pose there against the backdrop of the sunset. The golden sun and the sky that had begun to darken, made the tourists who posed on the swing only visible silhouette.

"If the weather is good... The sun will be visible between Lombok Island and Mount Agung." explained Ryo.

"No less beautiful than the sunset at Lake Como.." exclaimed Sonya, "Maybe tomorrow the weather is brighter than today.." he continued with a bitter smile.

As Sonya recalls her and Alex's honeymoon, Sonya and Alex also sit side by side like this, watching the sunset at Lake Como. The difference was that Alex was holding Sonya's shoulder and leaning Sonya's head on her chest, soft words coming out of Alex's mouth, when explaining to Sonya the history and corner of each Como city.

And of all the good memories Sonya has ever gone through, only when she was with Alex is hard to forget.

Lord... I miss him so much... Could it be that I am the only one feeling this longing?

"All her attitudes have changed since I said I love her.." Sonya muttered softly intending to talk to herself, but Ryo heard her.

"You said you loved her?" ask Ryo.

"Aps... What's?" Sonya behind her nanya, her brain tired of the shadow of her honeymoon period, makes Sonya not heed Ryo's questions.

"You told Alex that you love him?" reset Ryo.

"Where do you know that?"

"So I heard your mutterings... You muttered that Alex's attitude changed after you expressed your love..."

"Ohhh, yes he changed after that... It gets cold and stiff again... And the day we go to the Angry Room, that's where Alex started ignoring me... Completely ignored me... He won't even look at my face... It was as if he felt like he was going to throw up if he looked at me." sighed Sonya softly.

"Did Alex know we were going to the Angry Room?"

Sonya nodded, "I also didn't expect her to know our position, when obviously you've taken out the tracking device... Alex even knows I got all my complaints out there... It seems like he got angry because of that... I'm guilty of indulging in my domestic affairs with you, Ryo..."

Ryo frowned, seemingly thinking out loud, "What's wrong?" ask Sonya.

"Hmmm maybe Alex saw the CCTV footage in the room.." guess Ryo.

Sonya shook her hand, "Where is it possible..."

"What's impossible for your husband Sonya? He could easily get the CCTV footage... With just a little persuading and threatening then the tape could be directly sent to his email..."

Don't we? If Alex saw and heard my complaints how he could possibly act that cold... Alex would feel guilty and would be nice to me... Not otherwise... Aren't you?

Ryo shrugged his shoulders casually, "That was also just my guess Sonya... But if Alex has seen the CCTV footage, and he's ignoring you anyway... Well, you better wait for someone who's Sonya's fit... Rather than hold on to the same people who don't think you exist..."

"He doesn't fully assume I don't have Ryo.." elak Sonya.

"Whether it's Sonya, as long as you stick with her you'll live like this... You better end your relationship sooner than it's too late... Before you go deeper in love with her... And it hurts more because of his abandonment."

"Then after I ended our marriage what happened next? Accept another love? A new relationship with another man?" ask Sonya.

"Ryo... My love for Alex is like a branch of a tree that stands without any leaves... Until the end, either the twig will dry itself on the tree or someone will break it... Both will end the same... The twig will remain dead." sighed Sonya lirih.

"Or did someone save the twig and plant it in a new place?"

"The branch will be difficult to grow, because there are no roots that keep it alive... I went back to Ryo's room... Thank you for today." exclaimed Sonya then standing up from her bean bag, but Ryo held her hand, holding her back,

"You don't want to have dinner first?" tanyakanya.

Sonya shook her head, "I have no appetite for Ryo... I just want to rest." answered Sonya before leaving and leaving Ryo for her hotel.

"Preserve what you deserve... And let go of the ones you don't deserve keep Sonya... Because you deserve to be happy too." shouted Ryo, Sonya still ignored him.

Sorry Ryo... Alex is not worthy of my defense... But my heart just wasn't ready to be hurt when it left him later... I'm not ready to imagine my days without him... Is love selfish? Because I still don't care she'll never love me... I felt my heart ache when he ignored me... I take everything as long as he's still with me... As long as I can see his face every day.

And while living all that... I will also try to lose my love for him... There are only two possibilities... Things will turn around and he will fight, or I will no longer love him...

While Alex, who was in Sonya's mind, had returned home to his apartment, After two nights of sleeping in his office, he knew Sonya had left for X.

Alex sees photos of Sonya and Ryo sent by his men on the island, as usual Sonya looks beautiful. Alex still feels his blood boiling when he sees Ryo too close to Sonya. But how else?

If Alex wants to continue his plan, he must bury his jealousy deeply. And let Sonya be happy with another man, and seen in the photo Sonya who is laughing loosely, Alex has not seen the laughter for a long time.
