My Love is Lost

Alex arrives in front of the mansion where Sonya lives today, the house where her mother grew up, and the place where her grandmother kicked her out of her house.

Without hesitation Alex stood outside the towering black fence, and when the fence opened, Alex was prepared to take down the guards until they would not allow Alex to enter.

But to his surprise, the guards bowed respectfully to him, "Doryeonim...!" shout them simultaneously.

Raising his eyebrows in confusion, Alex looked at the guards before finally rushing past them, then climbing up the steps to the main house.

The party rumblings are already starting to sound, and Alex wonders what this party is? The sound of a piano playing a melodious dance song filled this luxurious mansion.

Alex spread his gaze to every corner of the mansion, looking around for the figure of the woman he so desperately missed. And finally she knew it was her grandmother's birthday party. Then his eyes caught the figure of his grandmother who was smiling softly towards the dance couples, Alex followed the direction of his grandmother's gaze, and his breath immediately choked.

The woman was there, dancing with the man in Milan, the man Alex saw in the photos Hardan gave her. Alex's hands clenched on both sides, anger and jealousy already raging into one on his chest.

And I don't know what the man said to make Sonya laugh amusedly, the laughter that had only been seen in Alex's dream, the laughter that Alex missed so much.

He could have laughed with another man when I was suffering like this... When I was half-dead looking for his whereabouts... Half dead worrying about it... And half dead misses him...!!

Instantly the flames of jealousy were burning again, let alone seeing the way Sonya was dressed, which featured more of her bare skin especially on her chest.

Alex took a hard look at the man, and wondered who exactly was the man? Why is it so close to Sonya? Was that the man who had brought Sonya to Seoul?

And when the piano stops, Alex sees them walking side by side toward his grandmother, with Alex rushing over.

"May I dance with you...?" tanyanya to Sonya, seen Sonya's back immediately stiffened when she heard Alex's voice. His steps halted for a while before returning to continue his steps, without even turning to Alex, making Alex even more angry.

"You'll have to dance with me if you don't want any commotion at your oma's birthday party...!" hiss Alex with a threatening tone.

"Protect me." asked Alex in a soft-sounding voice, recalling the anger he was holding at the moment.

"You don't have to accept the invitation if you don't want it sweet baby." chirped the man.

Look Alex's eyes turned to the man as he narrowed with an annoyed look. Sweet baby...? that guy called my bar-bar woman sweet baby...?

"Rather precisely the ex-wife." replied the man in a mocking tone.

Alex's hand was clenched again, and he was ready to go forward but Sonya stood between them, coinciding with the pianist playing the song Your Song by singer Ellie Goulding.

Sonya immediately pulled Alex's hand and took him to join the other dance couple, then Sonya raised her chin and stared intently at Alex, "You want to dance with me right...? Let's do it now... But after this I hope you get out of here!!" sonya sizzle out.

Alex immediately wrapped his hands around Sonya's waist, then pulled Sonya down to him, making Sonya squeal softly, "Mom... It's not like this Lex's dance...!!"

Alex began to lead the movement, doing step touch movements following the beat of music, and Sonya inevitably had to balance Alex's movements, Sonya's hands look stiff on both sides.

"Speaking without proof is Lex's bullshit... You remember what you said, Son...?" continued Alex.

Sonya immediately recalled that time on island X, she challenged Alex to kiss her, and now Alex is turning the challenge to her.

"alright... I'll prove it if it can make you stop bothering me. And I remind you once again, don't be disappointed with the results." Sonya replies to Alex's reply while on the island.

Sonya immediately put her arms together behind Alex's neck, and together they moved in rhythm with the chant of the song.

"I've never seen you this feminine Son... Did we deliberately decorate this pretty just for the man who was dancing with you...?" alex asked unable to cover up his jealous tone.

"If so, it's none of your business..." Sonya answered.

"I miss you Son." whispered Alex, Sonya closed her eyes, trying to ignore Alex's confession.

"Do you still love me Son...?" ask Alex again after a long silence.

"My love is gone, Lex... You're the one who made it go away." answered Sonya trying to sound relaxed, she didn't want Alex to know Sonya's heart was now beating fast, ever since Sonya wrapped her arms around Alex's neck, and their bodies are only inches apart.

"Don't you want to try to love me again...?" ask Alex in a disappointed tone.

"Ohh... I'll try shooting you again like a cupid... But not to shoot your heart... Your head is my target now...!!" rutu Sonya's.
