22: Client Party

Arriving at the building where Regan's client held his party. Adera and Regan get out of the car when they park Regan's car where it should be. After that Adera and Regan immediately entered the building by clasping each other's hands.

Once inside the building, Adera stared at the people who came to the party. Many women and men were invited to the party. And again it seems they are not all ordinary people. The clothes they wear are very luxurious. Maybe it wasn't an ordinary party.

Adera became inferior, seeing how beautiful the woman who also came to the party was. Instantly his self-confidence instantly decreased. Though earlier in the apartment he was a bit confident attending the party but now he felt like going back to the apartment.

Realizing his wife was insecure, Regan brought her lips closer to Adera's ears. He will make Adera's confidence come back again. "Lo pretty." Bisik Regan's.

Regan whispers make Adera look at him. The words were so cliche but it did make Adera's confidence come back again. Let's just say that was a compliment to him.

Adera smiled at Regan. "Gue's beautiful? More beautiful than the girls here?" Adera said without making her voice.

Regan smiled as well, but her smile was very thin. He's nagging. Indeed in the eyes of Regan only Adera beautiful girl there is nothing else. Regan walked back while clasping Adera's hand tightly.

His new arrival made the invited guests stare at him. Maybe they are fascinated by Regan's good looks but why are all the men staring at him too? Can't it be that all the men there are also fascinated with Regan?

"Good night, Mr. Regan." Sapa a man who seems to be older than Regan by a few years. He shook hands with Regan while smiling. "You've come too." Said.

Leon's gaze turned to Adera who was still next to Regan. He raised both eyebrows, looking at Adera. "And who is she?" Ask in english.

Regan hugged Adera's waist from the side possessively. "She's my wife." Answer Regan.

Leon was muttering while roaring. Then he stuck his hand out at Adera with a smile. "It's nice to meet you, Madame Mahardika." Leon said to Adera.

Adera looked at Regan first before shaking hands with Leon. Then he stuck out his hand, shook Leon's hand. "It's nice to meet you." Adera spoke stiffly.

Leon smiles seductively at Adera but Regan quickly pulls Adera's hand from Leon's. He was well aware of the gaze Leon gave his wife and he didn't like it.

"So beautiful." Praise Leon to Adera.

Regan put on a cold face.

Adera felt awkward. What the fuck is that man, why from earlier keep staring at Adera like that? What adera this woman to be seen so. Really, Adera really hates men like her. It was obvious from his face that he was a striped-nosed man.

"By the way, Mr. Regan, why didn't you invite me to your wedding?" Said Leon.

"My wife doesn't like crowds. We married in private." Regan answered coldly.

"A fascinating girl." Leon muttered looking at Adera for a moment.

Adera just kept quiet while lowering her head. Let Regan answer the man's question. Adera is uncomfortable to keep staring so, she wants to quickly go from there.

"Darling!" A woman in a sexy dress approaches Leon and hugs Leon's arm spoiledly.

Adera raised her head again, she saw the woman hugging Leon's arm. And it seems like they were lovers hearing the woman call him 'honey'. Adera was crying softly, even though she already had such a beautiful lover, her eyes were still glued to another girl. The brim nose.

Found Adera screeching while looking at Leon and his lover, Regan was relieved inwardly. As per his expectations, Adera does not like such a type of man even though Leon is quite popular with his good looks.

"Darling, I'm waiting for you to know." Said the woman in a spoiled tone.

Leon looked at his lover, he smiled at his lover. "Sorry, I'm staying you. Because we have to flatter the important people in our party."

The woman looked at Regan. And it turns out she's just like any other woman who's instantly fascinated by Regan's good looks. The woman immediately turned away from Leon making Leon pat his own eel because of his lover.

Regan just kept quiet by putting a cold face on the woman.

"Viola, who's polite and talks to Mr. Regan." Reproof Leon.

"Sorry, the brother just this time I met Regan directly."

Adera wonder. How handsome is Regan in the eyes of women. Why is he always being adored?

"Sir Regan, please enjoy the avoidance. And sorry for my sassy lover to you." Said Leon.

Regan just nodded. He pulled Adera's hand away from there. He also did not want to linger there.

"Gue wants to go there." Adera pointed at the tables where there was a lot of food and drinks there.

Adera immediately pulled Regan's hand there. He did not care that many were staring at him which was important now that he would taste the good food there.

Regan who was pulled so by Adera can only resignedly follow the will of his wife.

Adera took a cupcake on the pasminan table. He immediately tasted it without speaking again. After feeling the cake in her mouth, Adera looked at Regan with an adorable expression. "Nob." He said, and again biting the cake little by little until it ran out and when it ran out, he took it again.

Seeing Adera enjoying the cake so much, Regan smiled anxiously at her. Adera was so adorable that she wanted to bite her cheeks full of the cake.

Regan's hand moved to remove the cream from the corner of Adera's lips and she tasted the cream into her mouth. It was sweet but for him Adera was sweeter than that cake.

"Try this one. It's delicious." Adera feeds the different cupcakes and their bite marks to Regan.

Regan was silent for a while then she accepted Adera's bribe. He chewed the cake in his mouth while staring at Adera who was waiting for her answer about the taste of the cake.

"What a good way, right?" Ask Adera.

Regan nodded. "Yes, good."

Adera smiled widely. He returns to feed Regan the other cake but the movement stops when the building lights go out and there are only lights on top of the building that turn on.

On stage was Leon and his girlfriend Viola there. Looks like they're gonna say something there looks like once Leon brings a mic.

"Consider all the invited guests. Thank you for attending my company's seven-year celebration. Thank you for supporting us so that our company can be this big. With great thanks from me, let's celebrate this feast with joy." Leon said on stage and the building lights came back on.

"Look's eyes." Tegur Regan when Adera was still staring at the stage where Leon was still there.

Adera looked at Regan. "Who?" Adera did not accept.

"Yes, you are."

"Who am I? Lo lah, here are many beautiful girls, sexy anyway. I'm sure you can't take care of your eyes." Adera turned Regan.

Regan squealing. Where there is, where can he switch from the figure of an angel in front of him. Although many beautiful and sexy women still Regan just focused her eyes on this one girl in front of her.

"Hay Mr. Regan." A woman called to Regan.

Adera looked at the woman immediately. A beautiful woman in a luxurious long dress who walked over to Regan.

Adera squinted her eyes. Is he Regan's girlfriend? If so, why did Regan marry her?
