Come Marry!

Come Marry!
46: Painful day

In the morning, Adera was ready to go to the office, she was neat with a dark blue blouse. Because he did not want to be late to the office, Adera immediately left. He's out of the room.

Last night Regan didn't sleep in the room with her, Regan didn't play games to part with her. And all night, Adera wept for Regan until she fell asleep and made her eyes swell now.

Adera closed the room door again, she walked towards the apartment door but her steps stopped to see Regan asleep on the long sofa. Unknowingly, Adera instead approached Regan who was asleep on the long sofa.

Last night he was restless when Regan didn't go into the room, didn't sleep with him. Has Regan started keeping her distance? But Adera doesn't like that. She wishes Regan to go into the room and sleep with her as usual but maybe that's impossible now.

Adera smelled a pungent smell of alcohol as she approached Regan. She believes Regan last night drank alcohol to the point of being drunk and she becomes sad.

But Adera's eyes found something that surprised her. There were lipstick marks that had not disappeared on Regan's cheeks and it made him think all sorts of things. Did Regan sleep with another woman last night? Why did that thought make Adera's heart hurt?

Unknowingly a single tear came down her cheek, imagining that Regan was drinking alcohol and sleeping with other women out there. But it seems that he is already inappropriate if he is jealous because in a month they will be divorced so it is not appropriate for him to think like that.

Adera wiped her tears, she walked into the kitchen. He's gonna make some orange juice for Regan. He said orange juice could get rid of a drunken person, that's what Adera had heard.

After making the orange juice, Adera again approached Regan who was still not awake from her sleep, she put the orange water on the table. She hopes Regan drinks it.

Then Adera returned to her original destination. He went out of the apartment and went to the office to avoid being late.

As far as Adera, Regan finally woke up and immediately sat on the sofa while holding her head felt dizzy. He grimaced with the pain in his head. It may be the effect if you drink alcohol mostly.

Regan's eyes found a glass of orange water on the table quickly he picked it up and gulped it down. The taste of the orange water made it taste fresh, but he was confused who made it this orange water? Can't be Dito? Or maybe - ah already, he should try to forget about it.

Regan leaned her head against the sofa. He closed his eyes and opened them again, hoping that his headache would lessen.

"Adera, aren't you papa?" Ask Alisia.

The two of them were spending siomay together at lunchtime. Adera just stared at Siomay in front of her not touching her at all, she just fell silent with a blank look.

Seeing that Adera was still silent, Alisia touched Adera's arm making Adera wake up and raised both eyebrows.

"What's up, mbak?" Ask Adera.

Alisia sighed. "You why? From coming to the office, you shut up. Keep your eyes also swollen. You got a problem?" Ask Alisia.

Adera was silent for a moment then looked at Alisia with a smile. "No papa, ma'am. I was running a marathon of a super sad drakor movie abis, so it's swollen like this." Adera is lying.

"Hemm, anyways watch a sad drakor, just not strong."

Adera laughed forcibly. "Watch try mbak. Excited to know."

"Let's not. Mbak does not want Ale so join the cry pas nangis mbak nangis." Alisia. Ale is the name of his son who just turned seven years old, maybe Ale does not like to see his mother always cry because his father why he joined in crying if Alisia cries.

"Oh yes, Adera. Train you were the same mbak. He said you're okay?" Alisia.

"Mbak Ratih nanyain tidings of me, mbak? Well, I'm a miss with Ratih."

"Adera,"

"Yes mother?"

Alisia looked at Adera seriously. "You lied. You are no good anymore. You can't lie to me." Alisia's words made Adera speechless. "What's the matter, Adera?"

Adera sighed before answering Alisia. "What a look?"

Alisia nodded her head.

Adera laughed empty. Turns out he's that sad. "There's only a small problem, ma'am. Don't worry."

"Don't keep it yourself, Adera. If you do not believe the same mbak for you to curse your sorrow, as if spilling sadness to the people you believe. Don't grow alone, it hurts more than anything." Alisia's words made Adera want to cry again but she still endured it with a smile forced to be her lips.

"Yes, thank you."

Alisia's hand rubbed Adera's horse-picked hair while smiling warmly at Adera.

"Did you send me a photo of Ale?" Pinta Adera's.

"What do you want to do?" Ask Alisia.

"Ih, want to make me display diwalpaper, mbak. His face was very handsome Ale when he was a child."

Alisia chuckles. "Later to send. Oh yeah, Ale would love to meet you."

"Times?"

"Yes, she always asks you, she said Adera's sister is beautiful, Ale wants to be your boyfriend's candidate she said."

"Ready mom. Come home from the office later, I play at home mom? Play with Ale, my boyfriend-to-be."

Alisia laughed hearing that.

......................

In her room, Regan stared out the window, turning her chair towards the window. He looked at the sky out there that was cloudy, as if he knew what Regan was feeling right now.

Regan hates her own mind that always imagined the face of Adera as if a cassette that continues to be repeated in her brain. But it cannot be lied to, if Regan misses Adera when only overnight he did not see the face of Adera but instead made him miss this.

"Curtain!" Decih Regan, she's kneeling her own temple. Imagining Adera's face makes her miss him even more and he has promised himself that he will forget Adera so that on the day of their divorce, Regan has forgotten Adera completely.

But can he? This alone desperately held back from wanting to see Adera's face directly how could she forget about it that quickly? Jesus, Regan's frustrated.

Tok tok!

A knock on Regan's door was heard and it upset Regan. He was no longer wanted to be disturbed, but why would anyone disturb his calm.

"Lake in!" Shouted Regan.

As soon as Regan shouted, someone entered her room. And that was a female employee. The woman approached Regan's desk with her arms in her hands.

"Excuse me, Mr. Regan," said Olivia.

Regan turned her chair towards her work desk, she stared intently at the person who dared to disturb her composure. And how lazy he was to see that seductress coming.

"Sir, I saw your face pale today. So I brought you lunch." He said, pretentious sweet while turning his back to his hair.

"okay." Reply Regan lazily.

Olivia put the food she brought on Regan's desk. She smiles at Regan.

"Sir Regan's getting more handsome every day." The compliment.

"Oh so? Do I look that handsome?" Ask Regan.

Olivia nodded her head. "Of course, who isn't in love with you." Said.

Regan smiled miris. Surely there is no one who is not in love with him, and that person is Adera, his own wife. Fascinated with him was not like other women often when looking at him.

Seeing Regan smile, Olivia gaped in disbelief. She was even more fascinated with Regan when she saw her limited edition smile.

"What's your name?" Ask Regan.

"Olivia," replied Olivia with a smile on her lips.

It seemed like she could be made into a fake lover for him, knowing he was teaming up with Adera that way he could see Adera every day.

Regan smiled in a slant. That's a good idea. So he had reason to see Adera's face directly.

"Olivia? Want to date me?"
