Chapter 1: The heart is sick

The increasingly heavy rain did not make him leave the place. The quiet atmosphere on the streets of the capital and the extremely heavy rain made the place no one. However, a man sat by the side of the road while lowering his head.

His full office clothes are still attached to his body, he has not returned home since last afternoon, his mind is in turmoil, his heart is not okay. An hour went by, his body began to shiver from the cold, but he ignored it.

"Why don't you want to marry me?" alva asked coldly.

"I don't love you Alva" Rinja said casually.

"What about the marriage of our parents? you know ever since we got married I love you so much, I love you so much. Even I don't want you to be scuffed in the least, how can you not want to marry me? you're really mean" said Alva, holding back her anger.

"I told you from the beginning I couldn't love you, why are you trying to melt my heart that's not for you, so here I say our relationship is over," rinja leaves Alva alone.

"Rinja," called Alva but she didn't get out of her seat. Rinja heard it but he ignored it, he immediately left at that time.

Alva stared blankly at the chair in front of her, right where Rinja had been. He did not expect Rinja would not marry him, even though Alva had loved Rinja a long time ago.

The next minute Alva left the place, a very painful lunch for Alva. Rinja invites her to lunch together and it turns out that Rinja wants to end her relationship with Alva.

Flashback off

Alva stared blankly at the direction of the highway, her mind was blank, her body completely helpless.

"Why would he leave me? I love him so much" Alva said, still staring out at the street.

Suddenly a car approached Alva who was raining, a middle-aged man came out of the car, he wore an umbrella and approached Alva.

"What are you doing here, son?" ask the middle-aged man. Alva didn't answer even he didn't want to look at the man in the slightest.

"I'm sorry dad, the wrong dad has you set up with him, but please let's go home together, I don't want you to get sick." Said the middle-aged man.

Arjana is the father of Alva, Arjana already knows that Rinja does not want to marry Alva. Arjana is very disappointed with the Rinja family who broke their child's matchmaking relationship.

Alva immediately got up and looked at his father, Arjana looked at his son wrongly, he felt very guilty towards the child.

"I'm sorry, dad" said Arjana.

"Dad is not wrong, but please do not match me again with anyone," Alva told the father. The scholar immediately agreed.

After that short conversation they immediately went home at that time, Alva's body was still soaked.

Alva is a wealthy businessman, he is his only son and gets all the inheritance of his father. His mother had died while Alva was still in high school. Now he lives with his father, his father does not want to marry again because he is afraid that his new wife will treat Alva arbitrarily.

"Already," said Rinja who focuses on his phone.

"Good, I'll marry you soon, baby." Farid said happily.

"Of course, you know I decided he was just for you" Rinja smiled.

"Thank you so much baby." Happy speech.

After bathing and changing into clothes Alva and Arjana are enjoying a cup of coffee by the pool, a place where their favorite since Alva's mother died.

"Dad know where Rinja doesn't want to marry me?" ask Alva.

"So, her father came to see me. I was very shocked and disappointed in them" said Arjana. Alva was silent for a moment.

"Do you know why he doesn't want to be with me?" ask Alva again.

"They say, Rinja doesn't like you and she already has the man she loves." Arjana.

"Huh?" Alva was shocked, he looked directly at his father.

"What's wrong?" ask Arjana.

"He has another man? does that mean he's getting married?" alva asked, for some reason his heart was beating faster than before.

"It seems so," guess Arjana.

"When did he know that guy? though I've always been with Rinja, has Rinja been cheating on me all this time?" alva wondered.

"It seems," Arjana guessed.

"That's what he's got," said Alva, who breathed his rough coarse breath.

"Once again I'm sorry, it's dad's fault. I just want you to get married quickly and get children, maybe because I'm lonely so I want this house to be crowded with small children's voices" said Arjana with a blank look.

Alva was silent, this was not his father's fault but also his fault, why didn't he look for a partner? he is completely lacking attention to his own partner.

"It's not my fault, but it's my fault. I will try to make my father happy, even if it is without my wife and children" Alva said, smiling at her father.

"Don't think about it, I don't want you to get sick from being abandoned by him." Arjana. Alva nodded with a smile towards her father.

"Here you go, let's take a break." Arjana.

"Luan, well" said Alva who still wants to enjoy the atmosphere of the night.

Alva's father immediately left there leaving Alva who still wanted to relax. Alva breathed his rough. His heart was still muddled, he could not accept this reality yet.

The Alva looks towards the sky, the scenery is very beautiful, the stars are glowing brightly and the moon is shining brightly, many say tomorrow will be hot if the stars tonight are many.

Alva smiled towards the sky, he should try to forget about Rinja, although it was difficult but he should be able to, there are still many women out there who might be more suitable for Alva.

"Well, I miss you so much." Said Alva who was still staring at the sky, only her mother who never hurt Alva, she really missed the figure of her mother who was gentle to her.
