“Mami—”
Ceklek...
“Kyra?”
The deg!
Kyra's eyes widened instantly. Why did he come here?!
“Master? You're here?” kyra asked in surprise. He observed the man's suit in front of him, a white shirt with gray pants. In his hand was draped a gray suit anyway.
Darren frowned. What was it until daddy Emily came to her mom's inpatient room?
Yes, he is Eiden. The man entered without knocking on the door. In fact, with a moment's notice, he evicted the nurse who was standing guard in front of Kyra's room.
Eiden did not answer. The man's face was flat. However, as her body shifts, Kyra and Darren get answers to their questions. The tiny figure of Emily walked in with her big smile. The little girl seemed to have a little trouble bringing the fruit-filled parcel to Kyra.
“Aunty, Emily's coming,” exclaim Emily spirit.
Inevitably, Kyra forced her lips curved, ignoring Eiden's strange highlight. The woman tried to sit leaning against the pillow aided by Darren. “You're here, Beautiful?”
Emily agreed enthusiastically. The boy struggled when he wanted to put the parcel on a slightly higher table. Darren who looked up clucked. Kyra's son got off the bench, then helped Emily put the parcel down.
“Thank you, Brother,” said Emily with a big smile.
“Other times, in case of distress, ask for help. Don't cuddle,” advice Darren rubbed Emily's head. The little girl nodded.
“Emily can sit there, Brother?” He pointed doubtful to Darren's former bench earlier. Afraid that Darren won't allow it because after all the boy would want to stay close to the mother.
Not according to Emily's thoughts, Darren nodded casually instead. “Yes, sit there.”
With a smile, Emily tried to climb up the chair by holding on to the gurney. Darren's standing guard down like Emily wants to fall.
“Aunty, Aunty is better, are you?” ask Emily worriedly. Seeing some of Kyra's limbs being bandaged made Eiden's daughter tear up. He could not bear to see Kyra lying weak like this. “Emily was wanting to accompany Aunty. But, Grandpa told Emily to go home to change clothes to eat. Emily can't refuse, Aunty. Sorry, yes.”
Kyra smiled a little. That plain-pitched line sounded adorable to him. As a childlike woman, Kyra can clearly see the honesty in Emily's eyes. “Aunty no pa, really. Emang is still sick, but Aunty will take medicine to recover.”
Emily nodded. “Aunty has to rest a lot, yes. Keep taking medicine as well, let it heal quickly. Emily..” The boy looked embarrassed. “Emily want to chat again with Aunty,” her great-grandson.
Kyra chuckles softly. Ah, Emily's timid style is adorable.
Meanwhile, Darren sits on the couch playing his mom's cell phone. If if he is equated with children today who like gadgets, then you are wrong. Darren doesn't really like playing games or anything like that. The boy preferred to read at home, adding to his knowledge.
The difference with other novels, whatever Darren does, the child will definitely set a time limit for each doing something. Usually, right, children with one parent like Darren ambitious want to be successful for the sake of his mother. Darren is different.
For a long time, Kyra instilled in Darren if every moment should be put to good use. Including our childhood.
“Learn and want to be smart, can. But Darren can't forget that Darren was a kid. As long as I can, Darren plays. Because later, if it's big, Darren won't be as free as he is now, honey. Darren will have responsibilities, burdens, problems, everything Darren must complete. So, Darren's childhood benefits well, yes. Mami does not want Darren to regret in the future just because Darren is not satisfied playing now, okay?”
That sentence was stored well in Darren's memory. The child will manage his activities well. For example, Darren must study for 30 minutes, then play for 40 minutes. The point is, Darren's life is very orderly.
Back in the present, Darren plays a game on his mom's phone. After three wins, the boy is satisfied and puts the phone back in its original position. She looks at Emily and Kyra. Both are busy talking. Turning to the other side, Darren frowned seeing Eiden standing at his sculpting.
Ah, yes, he forgot about the existence of the adult man. “Uncle, Uncle why stand there from earlier?”
Darren's voice successfully attracted the attention of the three people inside.
“Sini sit.” Darren patted the side of the sofa next to him, there was still a lot of space left.
“Uncle fine? Don't tell me, Uncle's in pain?”
Darren's question managed to attract Eiden's attention. The man saw that little son Kyra was looking at him suspiciously. Those green eyeballs looked charming every time Eiden watched them. “Uncle good.”
“Oke.” That's just what Darren replied. He did not want to be labeled a caper because he was too curious.
“Oh, yes, Emily looks at Aunty with daddy. Emily asked to deliver. Emily also bought Aunty some fruit. Aunty want?” emily said spirit.
Kyra thought for a moment. “Bby,” said.
“Aunty want what fruit?” Emily mentioned all the fruits she brought.
“Jeruk aja, Darling.”
Call ‘sayang’ from Kyra successfully shook Emily's heart. The boy was happy not to play. He asked the daddy to take the orange—because the position of the parcel was on the table near the sofa. After getting the fruit, Emily peeled. In fact, feeding a piece of orange meat into Kyra's mouth.
Kyra eats with joy. “Eum... thanks, Darling.” He rubbed Emily's cheek and head.
For the second time, Emily heard the same call. The boy's eyes were glazed. A second later, a successful slow cry caused Kyra to panic. The woman wanted to wake up, but she grimaced because her body had not recovered.
Eiden and Darren are shocked to hear Emily crying. Eiden rushed over and took Emily into a hug. “Why, hm?”
Emily shakes. “Emily wants to have mommy too,”. Although the voice was slow, but the quiet room made the sentence heard by everyone.
Kyra fixed her sitting position properly. He stretched his hand to Emily. “Aunty wants, really, so mommy Emily.”
Emily's eyes were back. He stretched out his hand. Eiden gave Emily to Kyra. The woman hugged Emily affectionately. The boy also seemed happy to be hugged by the aunty he liked so much.
Darren. Women's dramas are always dramatic. “Sit again, Uncle. Mumpung no fruit same free spectacle, right?”
Kyra glared in annoyance. Darren's reply. The boy turned his gaze to the parcel containing the fruit. “Darren can ask?” I don't know who it was.
Eiden sat back down. “Hm, take aja.”
Darren weighed for a moment. The choice fell on the pear that looked tempting. He went to the sink available to wash the fruit, just ate it. Darren muttered softly. That fruit is so sweet.
As for Eiden, the concentration of the man was adrift on the princess who continued to cling to Kyra. Emily chattered happily in Kyra's arms. The woman replied with a jail. The laughter of the two women of different generations sometimes echoed.
Being at this point, suddenly Eiden's head was filled with one question.
Should he just get married? If it wasn't for yourself, at least Eiden could have done it for the child.
Is it okay for me to get married again?
