Chapter 52 | Kyra Disappears

The clock changed quickly. Simultaneously, panic struck the Eiden mansion.

Kyra is missing. The woman who said goodbye to go to Ansel's house turned out never to get to the destination. Cars, cell phones, and all accessories were found not far from Ansel's house, but the owner did not exist.

It wasn't just the Eiden family that panicked. Ansel and Adaline were also agitated. Ansel intervened to find his sister. Adaline is deposited in the Eiden mansion with the rest of Eiden's family. Eiden tried to smile. He took his daughter with a full mind. “Mommy must be fine,” whispered.

Emily's lips were back together. Eiden was forced to carry the boy, and took him to Emily's room. It took effort to calm his little girl to sleep because she was too tired to shed tears.

Turning to the son, Eiden finds Darren speechless in the room. The boy sat pensively in bed staring at Kyra's photo. Eiden approached and sat down beside Darren.

“Mommy kidnapped, Dad?” ask Darren to know.

Eiden nodded. A second later, however, shook his head. No one knows what really happened. The reason is, Kyra did not tell anyone about her departure to the headquarters.

“Daddy will find mommy.” Eiden tried to calm his son.

Unfortunately, Darren isn't the Emily who would believe such tranquilizing sentences. Darren is still Darren, a smart boy with all his thoughts.

“Mommy will definitely go home tomorrow,” said Darren sure. Her gut tells her Kyra is fine. There is a possibility that the woman is now in the mafia headquarters. Hence, go silently. “Daddy don't have to find mommy anymore. Tomorrow will definitely go home.”

Eiden. Where did Darren's faith come from?

“You know where?” is from ask Eiden.

“But, Darren has promised mommy not to tell anyone, including Daddy. So, sorry. Darren can't tell.”

Eiden. Allegedly right. His wife had something unusual and had never been told. In fact again, Darren knows ‘something’ that he does not know it. Eiden wanted to know, but he could not force his son to confess.

“Yesterday mommy said, mommy want to tell Daddy himself so that later Daddy does not misunderstand. So, Darren doesn't want to miss mommy.” Darren breathed a heavy sigh. “What's for sure, mommy is fine now. He'll definitely be home tomorrow.”

Eiden thought for a moment. “Daddy is a little disappointed. But, Daddy believes that mommy must have a good reason. Daddy prefers to trust mommy, son. So, Daddy's not mad.”

Darren chuckles. “Emang, anyway. Bener says temen-temen.”

Eiden's confused. “What?”

“Daddy is now mommy.”
