27. Without

Elena Pov's.

"Then I have to kill him."

My breath is hunting, I just had a dream in a dream. My heart was beating very fast and without me noticing my hand immediately touched the flat stomach but then my feeling of shock changed. I cried when I realized that it was almost a beautiful dream. Both of my hands cupped my face, it felt so tight as if it was painful.

"Sunghoon..." I call his name in a word.

And then I remembered something. Why am I in the dorm? what about the ritual? what the hell is going on?. I went running to Sunghoon dormitory, the door was open and I was surprised to see the janitor emptying dormitory number 13.

"Why did you empty this room?" I asked one of the officers.

"The head of the school told us to vacate the room because he said the students who occupied this room had moved."

It feels like my heart is falling on the floor.

"Are you sure you didn't have the wrong room?" Manya make sure.

But the officers said they had emptied and cleaned the correct room.

What the hell's been going on? why Sunghoon suddenly moved while soon graduation will be held.

Since I was still in disbelief, I decided to ask the principal and the answer remained the same 'Sunghoon transferred schools'.

I fell silent in the chair, daydreaming at the thought of Sunghoon who had suddenly left. Just when a car was parking I immediately remembered the incident of all the car windows smashed but unfortunately I do not remember anything else.

"What happened that night?" My mumbling ruffled hair.

"You're up, my God, Elena, I'm looking for you, I think you're going to look for Sunghoon." Haruto gasped, he touched his knee.

I raised my eyebrows a little. "You know where Sunghoon went?" Ask enthusiastically.

Haruto fell silent then shook his head. "I don't know where he moved. Most importantly now that you're awake, you've been asleep for three days."

"What's? Three days?" I was surprised to not believe how I fell asleep that long.

Haruto nodded then took off his school coat and kept it on my shoulder. "You have to go back to the dormitory to rest, your face is still pale."

"I'm looking for Sunghoon." I said take off Haruto's suit and walk down the corridor.

Haruto chased and forcibly pulled my hand. "You should forget about Elena."

"What do you mean I should forget about it?" I threw Haruto's hand.

Haruto looked confused to answer.

"You know something? you know why Sunghoon moved? tell me, Haruto." Suddenly my eyes blurred, my eyes glazed over.

"Tell me! you must have known something so told me to forget it. What happened during those three days? what happened to Sunghoon while I was asleep? you know that, right? you know what, Haruto?" The volume of my speech instantly rose, the tears I was holding back could no longer be held back.

I feel so emotional, my heart still feels tight.

Haruto hugged me, he clasped my body trying to calm me down. I sobbed behind his chest, it hurt to know Sunghoon was gone. Why is he like this? did I make a mistake? what was the reason Sunghoon left school? and the most painful thing is, he didn't say goodbye to me.

Is that the least important I am in your life, Sunghoon?. So that you can leave me.

The days passed and my chest still felt extremely claustrophobic, as if something was propping up.

I took classes as usual, hoping to find out where Sunghoon was in the other vampires but they didn't show up at school either. All those noble vampire members suddenly disappeared as if they knew they would be bothered by me. I leaned back against the chair, strange, I felt uncomfortable with the absence of bloodsuckers. I feel like my life is no longer fun.

I miss Sunghoon, considering his annoying and mischievous nature makes me miss even more. I was drowning in the times when we were together.

My sleep is no longer good, the nightmares keep interrupting. I looked at the empty bed space, remembering Sunghoon always lay there looking at me. I slept until morning. I regret always throwing him out.

"Why did you leave me......" I touched the chest that was starting to feel tight again. Every time I think about it, every time I cry my breath will be heavy.

Until I finally cried until morning, my body felt very weak. Even Haruto told me to stay in the dorm. Right near the class I met Gisel.

"Do you know Sunghoon's house?" I asked straight away and it took Gisel by surprise.

"I don't know Sunghoon's house but I know where they always hang out." He answered glancing at me and glanced at Haruto. I knew that back there Haruto was signaling Gisel not to tell.

"Can you drive me there? I beg you, I'd like to see Sunghoon just once." I said pull Gisel's hand. I was really begging him.

Gisel was silent for a while.

He nodded slowly. "I'll take you there but I can't guarantee that you'll meet Sunghoon." His words let me down a little bit but it's okay I'll keep looking for him.

"You gotta rest, you look so bad El. I'm sure Sunghoon will be upset if he finds out you're not taking care of your health." The next made me smile wryly.

Is it possible that Sunghoon is still worried about my current situation?.

After that Gisel drove me to where the vampire nobles gathered, the 'Cranium House'. I've heard it a lot but don't know where the house is.

"You don't look all that healthy anymore, is Sunghoon being left that bad?"

"Maybe very bad. I feel like my life doesn't matter anymore. Excessive right?" I chuckled blandly considering it turned out to be so influential as Sunghoon for my life.

After that Gisel did not speak anymore.

We entered a house filled with trees. It was like a forest, but not a forest. Only the front is thick. Haruto parked the car according to Gisel's direction. We got down the car and walked straight to the main door.

Haruto continued to accompany me, although I knew I didn't like looking for Sunghoon but he couldn't leave me alone. He was a cousin who loved me very much.

Haven't knocked on the door someone's already opened it and allowed us to enter.

I looked at Gisel who was staring straight, apparently he was looking at Brother Heeseung.

The man warmly welcomed Gisel's arrival with a light kiss on the forehead and it made me and Haruto uncomfortable. More precisely envious.

"You looking for Sunghoon?"

I'm nodding.

"He's not here, after the full night he disappeared." It obviously made me quiet again.

Actually what happened to Sunghoon so he disappeared suddenly.

"It just so happens that you're here, someone wants to meet you and it's possible that he can give you an answer to where Sunghoon has gone." Brother Heeseung drove me into a room and then allowed me to enter.

Gisel can't come with me because he has a purpose as well to meet his lover while Haruto he's forbidden to come along. And I don't know the reason why Brother Hee forbade Haruto to come with me.

I entered a fairly large room, a room with a European feel. On top of the bed was someone lying down, he was Jay. The man was lying with a blanket covering part of his body. He looks like an ordinary man.

We looked at each other for a while.

"What happened to you?" I asked while looking at a clear teapot whose contents were clearly visible, namely blood.

"Jake attacked me while I was escorting you and Sunghoon."
