Chapter 23. The star brought the diamond to his house

"Or do you want it like this" the tattooed thug stuck his knife in the tire of Diamond's bicycle. The Diamond's guts whimpered instantly, but he was still able to control his fear.

"You want to be the same fate as your bike or you pay all your brother's debts" snapped the boss.

"I don't have that kind of money at all. Give me time to collect the money" Berlian said asking for a grace period on the three thugs.

The three thugs exchanged lyrics with cues and a sly smile when looking at the Diamond from toe to head.

"You don't have to be tired of paying your brother's debt. You work enough to serve striped men for the rest of your life" said one of the thugs who became head of genk for both colleagues.

"Until death I am not willing to do the illegal work" said Berlian refused without fear.

"Many words, let's drag the girl" the boss gave orders to two of his colleagues who immediately forcefully pulled the hands of Diamond.

"Please...." Diamond rebelled and tried to break away from the crazy thugs.

"Take him off." a loud bellowed man.

"Star.." said Diamond to see who came.

"Someone wants to die apparently" furious boss while launching an attack.

The star swiftly repelled the attack and counterattacked. A fight ensued between the two. Seeing his boss cornered, his two men intervened to help his boss.

"Bin, look out." cried Diamond warning the Star when one of the thugs wanted to stab the Star with a knife. The star managed to dodge, but the raw bogem had floated right on his cheek.

"Nonsolent" growled the Star as she held her sore cheek and the corner of her lips bled.

Mercilessly Bintang put out all his abilities to successfully beat back the three thugs.

"Star, are you okay?" Diamonds rushed to the Star as soon as the thug ran away in a mess.

"Bin, your lips are bleeding. Let me see." Diamond reached out to touch his lips Star.

"I don't need your help" Star brushed Diamond's hand from her lips.

"Bin, let me treat your wounds" said Berlian.

"Don't try to attract my attention with your sweet-ass attitude" said the Star.

"You've helped me, let me help you heal the wound" Diamond insisted on treating the wound on the lips of the Star.

"You think I want to help you?. If I had known that the thug was you, I wouldn't have helped you and I would have let you die in killing those thugs" said Bintang is still dominated by the pain of being humiliated during their engagement event.

"Star, I know you must have been very hurt because of what I did at that time. But, I didn't mean to embarrass you at all because I thought...."

"You're not who I am, why should I be hurt. I'm even grateful to be able to escape from a country girl like you. You're not the woman I'm supposed to be with" Star cut out Diamond's explanation with pretty spicy words.

If Diamond had not remembered the Star that helped her, she could have replied to the words of the Star.

"What else is it?" ask the star.

"Thank you for helping me" said Berlian with a sincere smile. The star was glued to see the smile of the sweetest diamond she had ever seen.

"I don't need your thanks . I know exactly what a woman like you is like" Star returned arrogant.

Diamonds really have to hold back their emotions.

The star came in and ran the car. Through the rearview mirror, the Star was incessantly looking at the girl who was just silent in place staring blankly at her car.

"Diamond." said the star panicked when he saw the girl's body slumped down onto the asphalt of a deserted street. The star spontaneously rewinds his car and immediately descends.

"Hey...you why ?" The Star raised its head Diamond and repeatedly patted the girl's face, but she remained unconscious and the new Star realized how pale her face was back then. Without thinking any longer, the Star raised Diamond's body into the car. Not to forget the Star also brought a Diamond bicycle and raised it to the top of the car.

After the death of her son, Mama Farida busied herself watering her favorite flowers that thrived in the garden next to the house. Busy with his activities, he was shocked by the sound of the roar of a car that came entering the yard of the house.

"Is that the sound of the Star car?. Why is he so quick to turn around?. Is anyone missing ?" The curious Mama Farida immediately left her busyness and rushed towards the terrace of the house.

"Diamond.." said mama Farida was shocked to see her son come down with the body of an unconscious girl.

"Bin, Lian why?. Why did he faint like this?" mama Farida asked in shock mixed with panic.

"Just ask around later, we should help Diamond immediately"

"You took Lian into my room" mama Farida opened the door and walked ahead of her son.

"You brought Lian in. Mama wants to contact Hendra's doctor first to come check on Lian's condition" said the middle-aged woman who still looks beautiful and fresh after opening the door to her private room located on the lower floor.

Mama Farida walked towards the central chamber while the Star rushed in and carefully laid Diamond's body onto the bed. The silent star was glued when it saw the crystal lining wet both corners of the Diamond's eyes.

"Fainting like this, he still had time to cry" he muttered inexhaustibly. I don't know why there was something that prompted the Star to gently remove the crystal line. Relief was implied from his face when the tears were no longer wetting the two corners of the sad eyes.

"You want to know why Mama is so insistent on matching you with Lian?"

"Mama!!" the face of the star turned red when he realized his mother had been watching him from the front door.
