Chapter 56. Star Regret.

"I can't live without you, Lian" said the star of the inner war not willing to lose the Diamond just like that from her life. 

"Lian.." said Bintang in shock by the thunderous sound of thunder from outside the room window. 

"I've got to find Lian" Star's resolve . He ran out of the room and down the stairs as quickly as possible. 

"Bin, where are you going?" reprimand Mama Farida who again sits relaxed in the living room alone while holding her cellphone. The star ignored his mother and he went around looking for his wife from the kitchen to the backyard. Fixed nose invisible diamond.

"Lian.. Where are you?" call the Star to walk to the park. 

"Bin, outside the rain. Where's Lian going?" mama Farida follows from behind and is made to wonder with her son's attitude. 

Stars are like losing a grip on life. There was no one she could see nearby, including her own biological mother, who was in her brain only Diamond.

"Diamond .." call the stars as loud as possible to break the sound of the rain falling down and he doesn't care if his body is soaked by rainwater. Though why should bother looking for Diamonds in the house, it could be Star check CCTV . Since his thoughts were chaotic he did not think in that direction at all. (Father)

"what's wrong with you, son?. What's going on between you and Diamond?" mama Farida followed and carried an umbrella over her son. But, the Star seemed to not feel the presence of anyone beside it. 

"I have to find the Diamond and bring it home. Lian cannot leave me" said the star muttered bitterly with fear and regret. 

"Star, where are you going?" mama Farida asked to see her son running into the car and running it away leaving her luxury estate. All he thought about was looking for Diamonds at his grandfather's house. Who knows Diamond went home to his grandparents.

"Son, you came alone?. Which diamond?" aminah's grandmother asked as soon as she opened the door for the guest who came, who was none other than her daughter-in-law's grandson.

"So, Lian didn't go home to her grandmother?" the pale Star murmured imagining that the Diamond went far away from him. 

"Sorry Grandma, the stars have to go" 

Not wanting to waste time, the star was gas stamped leaving Grandma Aminah in anxiety to think about the fate of her grandson because of the attitude of suspicious stars who came suddenly and went home just like that.

Star does not lose its mind, on the way to find Diamond he tried to contact Kartika. 

"So Lian was with you, and she left with her sister ?!" 

Bintang's handphone slipped from his hand after hearing Kartika's explanation from the other end of the phone. His regret also soared because he did not trust Diamond. 

"Basic fool..." The star curses itself while banging its head on the backrest of the car seat it sits on. 

"Lian, where are you. I know I was wrong. I'm sorry. You go home, baby. I don't want to lose you" 

The star keeps hoping amid his regrets. His eyes glanced here and there observing the side of the road he passed in the hope that he could find the Diamond as soon as possible. 

Until midnight the Star has not yet found the bright spot of the existence of Diamonds that seem to disappear in the swallow of the earth. All the places he has been to, from the plantation to the lake where Berlian hid. Diamonds were not found. 

The rain is getting heavier, the lightning continues to thunder ceaseless, time goes on. The star went home empty-handed and took a little of the rest of his life because the rest was already owned by Diamonds. 

The star runs his car over the fence of his high house. 

"Lian??" The star surged between believing and not seeing a figure curled up in the rain under a shady tree beside his house. Diamonds don't go far. 

The star then descended and ran toward a bright body exposed to the light of his car lights. 

"Never touch me" Diamond's jolt looked up sharply challenging the Star's gaze.

"Lian your face is very pale. We go in, you can get sick like this" Star wants to embrace his wife and take her in. 

"I told you not to touch me" Diamond pushed the rough body of the Star. The stars don't fight.

"Do you care if I'm sick?. I died once, not a big profit for you. You will be released and free from women whose purpose in life is only to master your property. Don't be pretentious to care about me" said Diamond shivering withstanding the cold. But she couldn't hold back her tears. And it was clearly visible to the stars. Rainwater cannot hide Diamond tears.

The star could not say anything, saw the pale diamond face, the drenched clothes, the glare of my eyes as well as the shivering body so powerfully tore the heart of the Star. His regret seemed meaningless and would not be able to treat the wounds he had inflicted. 

"Lian, we're in..." 

A star cannot bear to let a Diamond like this, it must act to force it in. 

"Please me. I don't want to be touched by you" The rebellious Diamond refused the embrace of the Star with a heart-wrenching cry. 

"Lian, you can be mad at me, hit or whatever. But you have to think about your situation too. You can get sick if you do not want to enter" said Bintang trying to give understanding. 

The diamond is silent. The stars are a little relieved. But a second later he was panicked and anxious. The body of the weak, boneless diamond, fainted on his lap. 

"Lian.." Panicked Star. He lifted his wife into the car and entered the gate.

In his room who knows who cleaned it as before, the Star laid the Diamond's body slowly and carefully. 

"Lian, open your eyes" Star patted Diamond's cheek many times. 

"You're so hot" 

The star gets more panicked and frightened if something bad happens to her. The star quickly changed his wife's clothes that were soaked without caring about his own condition which was also soaked and did not think of replacing them. 

Finished changing clothes Diamond, Bintang compress his wife's forehead until her body temperature is stable. Only then can the Star calm down a little, but that does not reduce his regret. 

"Lian, forgive me.." Sorrowing the Star with eyes that never escape looking at the face of the diamond that is still pale. 

"I shouldn't doubt your sincerity in marrying me. I'm a fool who can't judge you by heart. I'm naive to deny your honesty to keep our marriage vows. You have no problem being a wife. I am so proud to justify my own opinion." said the Star as sincerely and in full consciousness. 

"I'm sorry" whispered the bitter Star as she stroked the friendly face of Diamond.

"I love you, Lian" she realized the fear of losing Diamond all along. 

"I love you, Lian" repeated the Star again who tirelessly stroked the pale face of Diamond. 

The star looked down wanted to kiss the diamond's forehead, but on its seat.

"You're right, I'm a very bad man. I don't deserve you. You're too good for a man who doesn't have a heart like me. You're too perfect for a bastard like me. I don't deserve to be loved by you, expecting your love I don't deserve it" 

The star distanced her face remembering the mistake she had made. The star is only able to look at the face of the diamond and again compress his forehead many times without asking for help from the house. The star did it herself until she fell asleep and her wet dry clothes on her body.
