Chapter 60. Bring me lunch.

The star is going to meet the diamond. Due to the phone calls coming in from his office forced him to change course because there was an important meeting with clients that he had to attend and could not be represented by anyone.

"Later in the afternoon I'll be here. I hope you don't drive me away if I come" hoped Bintang who drove his four-wheeled vehicle with a heavy heart.

"Good, the Stars finally left. I could easily meet Lian"

A young man was so happy to see a white car leave the shopping area selling a wide variety of books and stationery . He headed to the parking lot to park his car after Bintang disappeared with his car.

Confidently, the young man got out of his car and stepped into Kartika's bookstore.

"Lian, where are you?" he looked over here and there through some bookshelves.

"Nothing is there?" hernia. Of the many visitors who came and some employees in uniform there were no diamonds in the car.

"Why did you come here?" scold someone from behind the young man's back. He also had to turn.

"Kartika. I think who"

"Oh yeah, which diamond?" ask without shame.

"There is none" answered Kartika ketus.

"If Lian is in this store, what do you want?"

"Yes, I want to meet. What else do you want" replied the man with a medium posture.

"You still have a face to face to meet with Lian after you hurt her?" Kartika suppresses her tone of voice that begins to be carried away by emotions so that visitors who come are not disturbed. Kartika was really careless to see for herself how easy it was for the man to want to meet Diamond after what he did hurt his best friend.

"Rangga, I suggest that you leave here because Diamond will not want to meet you and I will never let you meet him" said Kartika.

"You don't try to mess with me. My intention is to come here well. You want your bookstore on stamp to have bad service because it dares to drive away visitors who come?!"

"Threats like that are stale here" along with Kartika.

"Yesterday there were two boys in high school who I kicked out and dragged the security guard out of this store because I dared to tease my visitors here. For me the comfort of visitors is more important than anything. You want to suffer the same fate as them for daring to disturb one of my employees?!. Moreover, my employees are married women. You want to judge the entire visitor here because it is considered to disturb other people's households?" Kartika threatened back and the threat made the guts of Rangga.

"i'm not here to bother you let alone tease Lian, I just want to meet her!" Rangga is still insistent.

"Are you getting out of here or am I calling a security guard to drag you out of here?" Kartika did not press Rangga's defense. He was tired of seeing the face of the man who had no heart.

"Or you want me to call Aunt Farida and tell her that her beloved niece has dared to flirt with her own sister-in-law"

Kartika plays her handpone a sign that she is serious about her threat. Rangga understands that Kartika is a loyal friend and always defends Diamond from the past.

"Ok, I'm leaving" Rangga was forced to give up.

"But I will definitely come back here. I'll make sure that I can meet Diamond. If necessary, I'll persuade him to get out of the job" he said, remaining reckless and confident.

"Look at your face, Lian, ogah, let alone obey your words. Don't know yourself to be a guy" cynical Kartika.

"You and Lian are the same. Same defense"

"You know what?" Kartika smiled mockingly and was relieved when Rangga finally left too with a face to face restraining his emotions.

After the end of the meeting, Bintang drove his vehicle to the Diamond workplace. The star had ordered his lunch through a special food delivery app for him and the diamond.

With the spirit of the Star again drove his car. After arriving, he rushed down and entered.

"That's a star"

"Mila, you go on, yes, I'll go there first"

"Well, ma'am" said Mila, one of the employees who served as the cashier.

Kartika walked up to the confused Star looking for the Diamond where.

"Bin, are you looking for Lian?"

The stars look towards the sound.

"Yes" he answered briefly as his eyes glanced here and there.

Kartika knows himself, the stars are like this. Cuek and do not want to know with people around him.

"Lian works in my room. You can come with me if you want to see him"

Kartika tries to calm down to set her soul dusty every time she looks into the sharp eyes of the Star. Women of the same age with diamonds are trying to keep smiling.

"During work with you, Lian was fine, right?" ask the stars while following the steps of Kartika.

"Bin, I know you are so antipathetic to my family because of your dislike of Reza. You can't equate everyone with my om" Kartika stopped staring at her interlocutor.

"I'm not here to discuss your problems. I'm here to see my wife. And I have to make sure that he works with the right people and his safety is assured"

"What do you mean?" Kartika began to be offended and carried away by emotions hearing the words of the Star that seemed to judge her badly.

"Do you think I want to harm my best friend?"

"I knew Diamond long before you knew him. We were very friendly, even very good. Don't just 'cause I'm his niece the late om Reza, and then you suspect me like this"

"I don't suspect you at all. I just want to protect my wife from the people around you who are always trying to disturb the peace of my life" cynical Star.

"I don't want to prolong the problem. Just tell me, where's Lian's workspace?. Let me see him myself."

"You stay straight. Later you will see my room on the right" replied Kartika panted and let the Star walk alone

Diamond was still busy with his computer while chewing the food in his mouth. Until the star came in saying his greeting was not heard.

"The work is serious. It's noon, Lian. You should rest first" the Star said.

"Star!!"

Diamonds almost choked to see who came. Diamond quickly turned off his computer after saving his typewriting.

"Where do you know that I work here?" Diamond was curious how the Star knew his workplace while he had not had time to tell anything.

"Look, I followed you this morning" replied the honest Star.

"I've guessed" Diamond was not at all surprised. From the beginning he left earlier, he had already felt that someone was following.

"Well, why are you following me?. There's no real work"

The star smiled full of charisma and pulled up the chair, then sat face to face with the Diamond whose face had been bent since his arrival.

"I'm here to take you to lunch" the star put a goodie bag containing two boxes on the table and opened it.

"I don't happen to have lunch either. Let's have lunch with yuk?!"

The stars looked spirited and his smile never left to adorn his lips. A rare sight seeing a cheap Star smile like that.
