~POV Third~

The Empire was a superpower that had survived for over 1000 years, possessing vast territories and resources. The capital is very large, covering about 200,000 square kilometers, and is surrounded on all sides by a large wall.

The various districts of the capital were separated by large canals traversed by merchant ships. Outside the capital, the country appears to be largely rural with an unknown number of towns and villages scattered throughout.

The other three countries bordered the Empire to the north, south, and west while the Empire's eastern boundary was a vast ocean coastline.

The Empire had a very diverse culture due to its large size. Its citizens range from nomadic clans to small village communities to the smart city dwellers of the world. However, due to the corrupt government, there have been several uprisings and intense civil unrest.

Villages and towns suffered heavy taxes and many could not afford enough food, resulting in widespread shortages in remote areas of the empire. This has forced many rural residents to move to the capital in search of money to help their villages, only to sometimes find death or worse due to high crime rates.

The arrest, torture, and public execution of the Prime Minister's political enemies are also not uncommon, leading to a general atmosphere of fear.

Slavery was common in the Empire but slaves could become free through currently unknown means. Slaves had branded marks on them to indicate that they were slaves.

Due to the high tax rates imposed in the imperial villages, there were many parents who sold their children as slaves for money or a better life.

As the name suggests, the Empire is an absolute monarchy where the word Emperor is law. However, the country is not only run by itself, as it has a Prime Minister and various advisers to manage many regions and regions.

The current emperor was only a child and after ascending the throne at a rather young age, he was more like a puppet than a true ruler. Because of this, many of his officials acted as they pleased including the latest Prime Minister.

So, this was the Capital of the Imperial Central Region. It might take a while for me to get out of this place.

Looking at the large city surrounded by the Imperial Palace walls located there. I admit that everything here is pretty sad here. Shit, I don't even need to use my Haki to feel the hostility and despair of the people here along with the poor people wandering around.

They glanced at me maybe even I heard their slang term thrown at me because I am someone from the forest. Well, let's see them say that to Esdeath and live after that.

Walking around the area I had already reviewed the entire place from the map I got from the Group Chat store because I more or less remembered the entire place because I used my real identity not to use a mask to worn.

Whatever the case may be, maybe I should leave this place as soon as possible as I will definitely get into trouble or just be blamed for a fake crime. That's something that happens very often here.

Acting completely oblivious to my situation, I continued walking while using my [Haki Observation] to sense the intentions of others and for what I expected, some idiots did not seem to learn.

I need something to calm my nerves. Glancing around, I happened to see a candy store but raising my eyebrows to it, I immediately detected a powerful aura within that place. Looking at the aura surrounding the person in question, I smiled lightly knowing that being friendly was a rare sight.

Plus adding to the fact that some of the guards of this place seemed to be scared from that place, I grew more and more curious as to who it was. But if someone buys sweets from that place then I can only guess a certain person, but I could have been wrong.

Seeing the person in front of me was the younger Najenda, a woman with long silver hair and purple eyes, her hair tied and braided. She wore a black suit that showed her cleavage to clearly show that she was a girl and not with

But what caught my attention was that he had his Teigu right behind him if I remembered correctly that it would be my Teigu in a moment [Wednesday] and a bag containing some candy inside her briefcase.

Nodding as I would not miss this opportunity, I answered honestly while pointing my thumb at the group that was trailing me, "Actually I actually need some help here. You see when I first came here the group.people had just started stalking me, I thought they were thieves trying to ambush me for my belongings, miss."

Now what catches his attention if there is anything to know about Najenda and his personality, he is a force for the people and solely to help the people. With that, he simply glared at the group in the distance as they looked at Najenda's sharp gaze as they retreated.

Seeing this Najenda sighed as she started talking to me kindly while cleaning up the little bugs that were bothering me, "Huh ... sorry about the foreigners you see people from the Empire do not really like. I apologize for their ignorance... I never know your name how rude I am to Najenda one of the Generals in the Empire."

Nodding at this and extending my hand as well as my interlock with him as we shook as I politely responded to him kindly, "Name is just Tatsumi General Najenda. Do you mind if I call you Najenda, it would be a mouthful if I said the general attached to your name, you know?"

Hearing that, I swear my heart stopped because Najenda laughed at her as she answered my question back with a friendly smile, "Haha... of course it's okay Tatsumi just call me Najenda because I'm on break for today. But to be honest, I have to leave soon hoping you're having fun Tatsumi you'll need it."

With that Najenda started walking away as I glanced at her as she left because she must be fine. At least he is an ally that I can have as long as I stay here in the Imperial Central Region.

At least I don't have to worry too much about the trash in this area with Najenda looking around the area. Still, even though I have to get Teigu Shura for now although the sooner I leave Central to the Western Region of the Empire.

It was then that the store owner came back with a candy bar that had Honey Killer Wasp in the form of a cake as I bit it to taste it.

Biting the cake, I smiled as I asked the store owner in a pleased tone as I spoke to him, "This cookie is really tasty. I'm gonna take some of them my good guys so hit me with crap."

The shopkeeper nodded his head as he went to the back as I waited there to pay for food because the only thing, I had been eating meat. I needed the occasional candy, coupled with Najenda dealing with that insect, I had time to move forward to the west as soon as possible.

But these cookies are delicious, maybe I should pack again for the trip.
