Chapter 10 - Go home

David hands Alwin over to Selena so that Alwin can be close to Selena and they are not suspected by mom and dad David later.

But what happened, Alwin instead continued to cry when held by Selena. As a result, David took the baby again and held her. The baby was silent again.

David took his breath.

"Selena, from tomorrow try to get close to Alwin."

"Okay," replied Selena.

"But I can't seem to babysit it alone. We need a baby sitter who has experience" Selena suggested.

"You're right. We'll find the baby sitter.

Selena nodded.

Baby Alwin is sleeping well. David put it in Selena's room which he had remodeled with a cot. Then he came out by pulling his hand up. Her body feels sore because all day baby Alwin does not want to be far from her.

David sat in the living room and gave a message to his father and a picture of his newborn baby.

"Ma, David just sent papa a picture of a baby" said Mr. Giandratama.

"Where? Whereabouts? Mama wants to see!" Tamara looked enthusiastic to see it. Because he was looking forward to a grandchild of his only child.

Mr. Giandratama showed it to his wife. Tamara becomes her own pleasure. He even so much talk to see a baby that looks anxious in his eyes.

"Hurry and tell them to come back here. I can't wait to see our granddaughter" Tamara asked.

"Are you sure the boy is David's son? Mama didn't suspect that? Moreover, from the first David and Selena did not want to have children. Now they change their mind? Don't you think they're so because they want a legacy from papa?

"Mama believes pa, because the baby looks a lot like David. Mama also believes that person can change. Even if the reason they want to have a legacy is only natural. David, our son, deserves his inheritance. I don't want to know, but I have to ask David to come home. Mama wants to take care of our grandchildren" said Tamara who still kekeh want her grandchildren to be with them.

Mr. Giandratama can only give up. He also sent a message to his son.

David read the message from his father. He smiled at the sumringah.

Go home, mama asked you to come home with Selena and your baby.

David immediately typed a reply message to the papa.

Yes, I will go home with my little family. Once he is strong and can be taken on a trip.

"How was your parents' reply? Did they ask us to come back?" guess Selena.

David nodded.

"Yes dear. They're asking us to come back. Not in vain during this time we played a show by fooling village women and innocents like Gea," said David then kissed Selena's forehead.

David's memory goes back to a few years ago when his parents betrothed him to his papa co-workers. However, David refused because he already had a lover and wanted to make his lover as his wife. Even David married Selena without the knowledge of his parents. David took Selena into their house. But, Mr. Giandratama refused the presence of the two for marrying without asking for her consent.

"Pa, I'm papa's son. Why would you treat me like a puppet to obey your orders? I want to marry the person I love and that has already happened. I've brought him in front of papa and mama. Please treat Selena well pa" said David.

"Why should you treat him so well? Besides, you're not even getting married asking for permission from papa."

"Pa, don't be. Just accept him as our daughter-in-law. After all, it seems Selena is a good woman" Tamara said, choosing to accept her son-in-law.

With a heavy heart Mr. Sebastian also received Selena stay in the house. One year later, Selena has no children. Even David's friend, who was married for two months, was pregnant, but Selena was still not pregnant.

There was a debate between David and Mr. Giandratama. David's father asked David to divorce Selena and marry the son of his co-worker. But David is determined not to divorce Selena. Regarding children, it was indeed the desire of the two of them to not have children. That's what David said at the time.

"Then you better get out of this house. Papa will unplug all your facilities if you still choose to stay with Selena!"

"Pa! Don't be! David is our only son!" said Tamara who suddenly joined.

"Don't be too hard on him. Regarding the issue of children, maybe God has not entrusted it to them," Tamara added.

"Can't ma! Papa has been following what our son wants. Now he's the one who has to follow papa's will."

Seeing his crying wife, Mr. Giandratama softened again.

"Somehow, if you and Selena can have children within 2 years. You can come back here. Mom and Dad will take it well. Papa will also give you full authority over the company that will later become yours. But during those 2 years, you didn't give me any facilities."

"Okay, I'll follow all of papa's requests! I'll prove it all, I can have kids and lead the company well."

David and Selena leave the house with the money they have. Living in an apartment, then working with their own abilities.

In the first year, Selena had several times pregnant but miscarried, because the doctor said Selena had a weak uterus. Because of this, Selena instead gave her crazy idea of allowing her husband to remarry.

At first David did not want to because he did not want to hurt Selena. However, Selena instead explains that David only married to have children, after the woman gave birth, David had to divorce her and admit the child was her son with Selena.

With a heavy heart, David agrees to Selena's crazy idea. But, Selena also asks David to marry a woman who is not more beautiful than him and is also innocent. So that he could not dwell when they took David's child nor did David fall for the woman they used to bear a child. David agrees and the second wife's choice falls on Gea. Women who are easily fooled by David just because they are given attention. They even want to get married when they have not known for too long.

It makes David happy, because apparently the plan is easier because of the innocence of Gea. Even now he feels happy because soon he does not need to work hard on the field. After returning to his home, he will work in the room.
