"How many days?"
"Three days om," Devi replied as she stuffed her clothes into her big bag.
Alby's speechless. He did not want to part with Devi even though it was only three days, but Alby had no choice but to let Devi go let alone for college activities.
"Why don't I just pick you up?"
"No om. My hospital and college are not in the same direction. I don't want to bother about Alby, after all, aren't the next three days Alby's really busy? Om Alby has a schedule of operations with patients om Alby right? Om Alby take it easy, it's only three days after that I'm going home," persuaded Devi to let Alby leave.
"How can you sleep if you can't take Toto?" ask Alby to worry.
"I'm just carrying this," said Devi, showing her a keychain in the form of a small green stuffed frog.
"Where is that from?"
"I bought it yesterday. Let's go, o'm."
Alby breathed slowly. Seeing that, Devi immediately kissed Alby's cheek at a glance and hugged him tightly.
"I've only been away for three days why is Alby so sad?"
"I don't want you to go" Alby said, hinting at something.
"Om let's go now it's too late. I don't want to get angry because it's too late" Devi said ignoring Alby's words.
Devi pulls Alby's hand to rush him to the campus. Inevitably Alby drove Devi to the campus and let Devi sleep there for three days.
"Tonight I slept with Toto alone" said Alby, who was heard by Devi.
Devi who heard it smiled.

Devi waited anxiously for Raden's arrival. Devi had deliberately lied to Alby if he was carrying out the faculty ospek on his campus when in reality Devi was investigating all about his concerns.
Devi wants to find out the truth and the first step she chooses is to meet with Raden. Devi wanted to know more about the disease suffered by his mother Raden considering it was the same disease suffered by his mother Rea.
Initially Devi considers it a coincidence that her mother Rea and Raden have the same disease but once Devi sees the arrival of Alby who takes care of all the funeral processions until the number of kidneys Rea mother there is only one makes Devi think shit.
Alby wasn't involved with anything he suspected, was he?
"Dev" said Raden as soon as he entered the room.
"Sister Raden. Raden, how are you?" ask Devi for a little chat.
"good. What the hell are you here for? Did something happen?" ask Raden worried. "Why are you carrying such a big bag? Where do you want to go?"
"Ah this is just my clothes brother, I want to stay at the house om Alby in the village," Devi's alibi.
"Oh, but why didn't Doctor Alby drop you off? Did you guys fight?"
"No brother, we're fine. Alby is very busy. He doesn't have time to drive me" Devi replied with a chuckle.
"All right, what's up? You came here there must be something you want to ask, right?"
Devi fell silent. She squeezed the end of her skirt slowly.
"I want to know in detail the disease that attacked his mother Raden," replied Devi who made Raden immediately surprised.
"Sister Raden is a doctor so it's not that hard to explain it to me right?"
"For what?"
"Huh?"
"What do you want to know? Hasn't it all been buried and can't be reopened? You've recovered from your trauma and it's appropriate that you forget it all," Raden said, staring earnestly at Devi.
"Isn't it unfair for all the victims if the matter is closed?" lirih Devi's.
"What's wrong?" asked Raden who was not so clear to hear Devi's slow voice.
"none. I was just helping my friend to find out more about the disease" Devi lied.
"Friends?"
"Hm. We met on campus by accident then we became close. He's my best friend and I feel bad about refusing his request." Devi sighed softly so that Raden would trust her words more. "He was the one who helped me escape here the other day without Alby's knowledge, brother" continued Devi with a small laugh.
Unlike Devi who put on her funny face, Raden actually looked at Devi seriously.
"It's not for you, is it? If you want to know about the disease just to reopen the old problem, I won't tell you."
"Not-not! This isn't for me. If brother Raden does not believe, brother Raden ask him himself. I brought him here. Besides, I don't want to re-examine the past either" said Devi.
"Try to bring it here" Raden said in the end.
Devi stood up and motioned her friend to go inside.
Raden who saw Devi really brought his friend began to believe that Devi really wanted to help her friend.
"Don't introduce this Lino, my friend," said Devi introducing Lino to Raden.
Lino nodded politely as well as Raden who replied with a friendly smile.
"No, this is Raden's brother. Everything you want to ask, just ask brother Raden. He's a great doctor, so it's not wrong that I recommend Raden to be your source of information."
"You're so good at making. I haven't even graduated from the koas doctor yet" Raden said with a chuckle. "Why not ask Dr. Alby? Doctor Alby is much smarter and more experienced than I am" Raden asked Devi.
"Om Alby won't help Lino" Devi said. "She was very angry yesterday when she found out I went to Rea's house with Lino. Om Alby is very jealous brother," said Devi in a soft tone.
Raden laughed at hearing that. He allows Lino to ask what he wants to ask, but before that Raden signals Devi to come out and not listen to their conversation.
Devi complied. He had anticipated this before. Devi accidentally asks Lino for help to pretend to ask Raden for help for her research because Devi knows Raden will not tell her about his mother's illness and what Devi thinks is true. Raden would not tell him.
"I'll tell you everything you want to know about my mother's illness but I want to ask you one thing" Raden told Lino.
Lino listened carefully to the question of what Raden would give.
"It's not your college assignment, is it? You're here because you were asked by Devi, right?"
*****
Along the way Devi seriously listens to every explanation Lino has about her mother Raden's illness. Although many medical terms that he did not know but Devi little understand about what suffered Raden's mother.
"It's a good thing I can convince Mr. Raden that this is for college. You know how big-spirited" Lino's words came to a halt as she looked at Devi who was breathing deeply while casting her gaze in the other direction. "What's wrong?"
"So the same?" lirih Devi's.
"What?" ask Lino who does not understand the meaning of Devi's words.
"The disease that his mother suffered with Raden with Rea was the same," replied Devi slowly.
"Different cause. Rea's mother was exposed to GFR due to high blood pressure while her mother was Raden due to hepatitis B virus" Lino said.
"Yes but they both only have one kidney No! That one fact alone is enough to validate my thoughts."
Lino sighed softly. He does not know the purpose of Devi to find out about the disease suffered by his mother Raden and also Rea. Lino is only told by Devi if she really needs the information to reveal a truth. But even Lino doesn't know the truth.
"Then what now?" ask Lino.
"none. Thank you for your help No, this time you've just come here to help me. I really owe you."
Lino nodded her head in response even though she was dissatisfied with Devi's remark. Lino was really curious as to what Devi meant to find out about the illness.
"Devs."
"Hm?"
"If I ask you about your purpose in finding out all this, are you going to tell me?"
Devi looked at Lino with obvious guilt while shaking her head in a sign that she refused to tell Lino the real reason.
"Okay, I won't force you. Then I'll say goodbye. You be careful, yes" said Lino as she waved her hand at Devi.
Devi returned a wave of Lino's hand while smiling.
After Lino's departure, Devi immediately ordered a taxi. After a few minutes of waiting, Devi's taxi arrived.
Devi immediately got into the taxi and relayed her destination to the taxi driver.
"Jl. Hero no.16 yes sir."
"Good non. That's Mr. Banyu Wardhana's house isn't it?"
"Yes sir, do you know me?" devi asked a little surprised because apparently the taxi driver knew his father.
"Yes non. Mr. Banyu used to be my employer. I used to work as a driver in his house" said the taxi driver.
As soon as the taxi driver turned his body towards Devi, Devi's eyes immediately shocked as soon as he saw who was in front of him.
"Saint Brother?" devi asked in surprise.
"Non Devi remember me?"
