Leg Devi Sprained

"What is the reason?" devi asked as she walked behind Alby.

"We go home first. It's late" said Alby, continuing his steps down the stairs.

"No want! Let's say what's the reason?" force Devi while jumping around a little.

"Please watch your way and stop jumping around like a frog, if you fall it will be dangerous. If your head hits the tile hard he can bleed profusely and-"

"Tell me first!" cut Devi.

"You said you'd be an argh!!" heboh Devi who stopped as soon as her left leg sprained.

Alby immediately stopped his steps and immediately turned his body to look at Devi who was now holding his leg pain.

"My feet sprained, om" whined Devi as she pointed at her feet.

"I told you not to jump around. Why is it so hard to keep my word?" alby said while crouching to see Devi's sprained leg.

"Not hurt?" alby asked while checking Devi's legs.

"Argh sick om!" peekkik Devi while hitting Alby's shoulder.

"Look, your legs are swollen. We'd better go to an orthopedic doctor to check your legs" Alby said.

"No way," rejected Devi as she pursed her lips.

"Still not following my words?" alby asked while looking at Devi.

Devi remained silent and avoided Alby's stare.

"Gendong," Devi said in the end.

Alby let out a slow sigh and squatted down to Devi and asked her to go up to her back.

Devi smiled happily as Alby carried her and began to climb down the stairs.

"Next time listen to my words. Look at your sprained legs now and tomorrow you still have to try out" Alby said.

Devi just kept quiet listening to Alby's nagging.

After a few minutes, they arrived at the orthopedic doctor's office. Fortunately, Reza's doctor hasn't come home yet so Alby can ask for help to examine Devi's legs for a moment.

After finishing the examination, they went home with Devi who was still in Alby's arms. Suddenly the shadow of childhood swirled in his head. Devi remembered that she had also been carried like this by her father and mother who ran behind her while chasing her. Little Devi was very happy at that time.

"Om" call Devi.

"Hm."

"I miss mom and dad" Devi softly hid her face in Alby's neck crease.

Alby knows what Devi is feeling. The girl must be lonely and miss her family. Alby is quite kasian with Devi, has been left by his parents since five years ago because of an accident now his only brother who has even been very sick.

"When I was angry or sad, you always carried me like this and took me for a walk. Now I miss those times om," explained Devi with teary eyes.

"If you want you can think of me as your father. If you're sad or angry, just tell me. I'll take you and take you for a walk" comfort Alby. Because honestly, he was also confused about what way to cheer Devi.

"Then can I call you dad?" canda Devi's.

"Then you go down, don't ask me to carry it" Alby said.

"No way," said Devi as she clenched her arms around Alby's neck while laughing.

Alby who heard Devi's laughter let out a sigh of relief. Devi is fine.

As soon as they pass the IGD room, they accidentally go to bed with Raden. Raden who saw Devi being carried by Alby frowned in wonder but a second later he understood once he saw the bandage on Devi's feet.

"Sir Raden!!" sata Devi cheerfully waved her hand at Raden.

"Hi Dev, why-"

Raden's words were cut short once Alby did not stop his steps and still passed through Raden without letting Raden speak further.

"Sir Raden!! Why don't you stop?!!" pissed Devi.

"We need to get home quickly. You don't see it's night?" turn Alby on without stopping his steps.

"But I'd like to have a little chat with Raden's brother. Why is this so evil? It's rude to know to ignore someone who wants to talk to us" Devi scolded.

"He didn't talk to me" Alby replied.

"But brother Raden spoke to me, because I was in a sling when Alby should have stopped," Devi annoyed.

After reaching the car, Alby immediately sat Devi in the passenger seat and put her seatbelt on. After that, he sat in the driver's seat.

"Om you don't intend to forbid me to go out, do you?" suspicious of Devi because Alby is like preventing her from seeing Raden.

"I did forbid you to go out" replied Alby lightly as he started running his car.

"Why??!!"

"You were a kid. Your job is to learn and school properly, not to date" Alby explained.

"But many of my age already have girlfriends. Why can't I om?" rajuk Devi's.

"Who was the inventor of Newton's law?" ask Alby.

"Huh?"

"Look you didn't answer about it that easily so forget about going out first. Later if it's time I'll definitely let you date," said Alby who made Devi snort annoyed.

"Om Alby sucks!!"

Devi turned her eyes towards the door of her room. With great difficulty, he got up from his bed and opened the door.

Alby had brought a warm water compress and medicine for him.

"Sit down I'll compress your legs" Alby ordered as he helped Devi walk up to the bed.

Devi obeyed Alby's every word. Devi sits on her bed with Alby sitting in a small chair under her bed and starts compressing Devi's sprained legs.

"Aw sick om!" peekik Devi is in pain.

"I'll slow down" said Alby softly.

Alby began compressing Devi's legs slowly.

"Not hurt?"

"No."

"I'll tell you why Rea said that to you" Alby said without stopping his activities.

Devi was silent and listened to Alby's every word carefully.

"You know, people like Rea are the kind of people who don't want to be pitied. You must have helped her out of feeling sorry for her, right? You're sorry that Rea doesn't have a family and a place to live, right?" ask Alby who is possessed by Devi.

"On the other hand maybe Rea doesn't want to look weak in front of anyone including yourself and maybe he doesn't want to involve anyone in his problems. In other words Rea doesn't want you to be their next target. If you help her like that, Jessica's next target is you. Trust me tomorrow Jessica will start bothering you" explained Alby.

"I'm not afraid of Jessica, I'm good at fighting anyway" Devi said.

"You're this, smart fighting you're proud of. You forgot you weren't good at lessons?"

"Om Alby is so honest" Devi was upset. "But, um Alby's sure Rea's such a person?"

"Not really. Then prove it yourself. Try to be friends with him" said Alby.

"No, I'm still mad at him" Devi refused.

"Well, if you don't want to. Already, it's time to learn," orders Alby after finishing compressing Devi's legs.

"Om my leg still hurts, can't I not go to school tomorrow?" whining Devi with her puppy eyes.

"No, tomorrow you're still trying out. You don't want to go to school because you're afraid of Jessica, do you?" taunted Alby.

"Of course not! I told you I wasn't afraid of Jessica any more than I had Gara and Arin. If Jessica messes with me I'll bite her with Arin" Devi replied.

"You didn't ask Gara to bite Jessica?"

"No. Because he's a real man, he doesn't want to hurt women" Devi said.

"Well if you're not afraid of Jessica now you go study there, tomorrow try out the second day" Alby ordered.

"Yes-yes."
