Devi opened both her eyes as the sound of her alarm went off. Apparently at six in the morning, he had to get ready to go to school.

He stared at the textbooks he threw in the trash last night because he was annoyed at his brother. Devi got out of her bed and walked to retrieve her textbooks.

"I picked you up not because I wanted to study you, but because I was afraid of being scolded by my teacher!" said Devi while picking up the textbook.

After that, Devi immediately headed to the bathroom and started her routine of cleaning herself.

After a few minutes in the bathroom, Devi came out and dried her hair using her pink towel. He saw his brother ironing his uniform in his room. Devi never locked her room, I don't know if there was anything to worry about if Sean was with her.

"Hope first while you wait for your school uniform to be ready" Sean said.

Devi just nodded her head as she walked past Sean. Devi is still mad at him!

"Dev," call Sean who makes Devi stop her steps.

"From now on you have to lock your room" Sean said without stopping his activities.

"Hm," Devi replied briefly but she was a little confused why her brother asked her to lock the door of his room? Ah, Devi did not want to take a headache and chose to obey her brother's orders. It's still morning and Devi doesn't want any more debate between them.

After finishing ironing Devi's uniform, Sean caught up with Devi at the dinner table. He joined Devi for breakfast. Sean wants to see someone today.

"When will you go back to school, do you have activities?" ask Sean to Devi.

"No," Devi replied briefly.

Sean breathed slowly.

"All right," said Sean, nodding his head.

Though Devi wonders about Sean's attitude this morning, she chooses to keep quiet.

"Silver you go to school" said Sean, who was replied by a nod by Devi.

Alby was sitting in a cafe waiting for someone to arrive. Last night, her best friend asked her to meet him. I don't know if she might miss him? Haha if thinking about it Alby shuddered in horror himself.

"I'm sorry I'm late."

Alby raised his head while smiling.

"It's okay. Anyway I just arrived, too," said Alby. "So how? What's up Sean?" alby.

Sean was his best friend when they were studying abroad first. Even their closeness is misunderstood by those around them who consider them gay. What kind of shit is that! Fortunately, the two of them who basically did not care were never willing to refute or dispute it. They are too busy to handle people.

Sean gave the white map he brought to Alby. Alby accepted it and started opening it.

Alby read it and watched it closely. His forehead was shocked. Sean's medical records are completely unexpected.

"Cancer liver?" ask Alby and look at Sean. Sean smiled as he nodded his head.

"Since when?" alby asked in a trembling tone.

"I forgot. But the last two weeks I've had pain in my stomach and I've been vomiting. I thought it was just an ordinary pain, and then I went to the hospital and it turned out like that" Sean said lightly.

Alby looked at Sean with an indecipherable look.

"No breath?" ask Alby quickly.

"Ehm is sometimes claustrophobic" replied Sean.

"Saw pain?"

"Yes, but it's fine now. Calm down, if you panic like that people will think we're real gay" Sean joked with a laugh.

"There's no blood in your urine?" ask Alby again.

"What'sthis? I was like consulting a real doctor" Sean said, laughing.

"There's no blood?" it's Alby's serious reprieve that makes Sean stop his laughter.

"There," Sean replied in the end.

"As far as I'm concerned, let's see this" Sean pointed to a picture.

"Micrograph showing acute thrombotic microangiopathy due to DIC in kidney biopsy. The clot is present in the hilusglomerulus. This is already causing complications of intravascular disseminated coagulation-"

"OK enough stop. I don't really understand the language you're saying but I'm sure my liver cancer is severe and it's spreading to my kidneys, isn't it?" cut Sean.

Alby fell silent and Sean was well versed with Alby's answer.

"Why aren't you being treated now? This is Sean's heart angiosarcoma. This is not ordinary liver cancer. How can you be this calm?! We go to the hospital now, I'll introduce you to the best oncologist in my hospital" Alby said.

"I know, most angiosarcoma liver patients die within six months and only 3% live more than two years but that's not the case" Sean said, prompting Alby to throw his breath away.

"Then what?"

"I can't possibly be on medication here" Sean said.

"Then? You don't want to heal?" ask Alby.

"Of course I want to recover but I don't want to seek treatment in Indonesia. I'm going to Singapore" Sean said.

Alby nodded quickly, as he knew the hospital in Singapore was indeed the best hospital for treating liver cancer.

"I'll help you prepare for all your medical needs" Alby said.

"No. No need, I've been preparing everything since I was diagnosed with this cancer. But I want to ask for your help," Sean said earnestly.

"What's? Just tell me I'll help you" Alby said.

"Please take care of my sister" Sean said.

"Female sister?"

"Yes. All this time I haven't been able to introduce you to him because he lives with my parents while I live alone in my apartment so you've never met him. But ever since both my parents died in that accident, my sister's been living with me." Alby listened to Sean's explanations carefully.

"I don't want my sister to worry about my illness. Therefore I want to keep all of this a secret until I'm really as loud and dare to tell her myself" Sean continued tearfully.

"The only family I have left is him. I beg you to take care of him for me" Sean asked Alby.

Alby had no reason to refuse his best friend's request. Keeping a little sister at least isn't something heavy is it? I don't know if I wish it were like that.

"What's his name and how old is he?" ask Alby.

"Name Devi. He is 18 years old, soon he graduates High School. Even though he wanted to graduate from school, he was still like a child. Sometimes he cries if I don't follow his will, gets angry easily but he never gets angry for too long. He never did any homework and was still too innocent. My age and age are very different, besides that I have never had a child. Maybe that's why we always fight and there's a lot of debate when I try to educate him properly" Sean said.

"I've never had a child and I'm also an only child so I don't know if I can properly educate him or her" Alby said.

"I don't have a problem with that. I just want you to protect her and protect her. After he graduates, tell him not to be a prosecutor like me. I don't want him to take on such a dangerous profession" Sean said.

"Why? Is anyone threatening you?" ask Alby.

"No. It's just that I don't think Devi is a good fit for the job. And one more! Don't let Devi date first, she's still a kid and she's still innocent. I don't want him to be taken advantage of only by male assholes out there" Sean told Alby.

"Her partner Sean is the type of brother who is very protective of his sister," said Alby.

"When are you leaving?" ask Alby.

"Tomorrow morning" replied Sean.

"good. The sooner the better. Your illness can no longer be delayed" said Alby.

"Yes and I will introduce you to Devi later after she gets home from school" Sean said.

"All right."

"I owe you so much, thank you," Sean said sincerely.

"No problem. You helped me a lot when we went to school abroad and now it's time for me to repay your kindness. Get well soon and don't worry about your sister. I'll take care of him as much as I can" said Alby.
