Accident Victim

The next morning Devi squirmed and accidentally touched someone's back. Devi opened her eyes and turned to the side and found Alby sleeping on her back.

So last night he slept together?

Thinking about it made Devi smile happily. Devi got up from her sleep and walked to the side of the bed next to Alby, then she crouched down and watched Alby who was sleeping soundly.

Devi observed the handsome face of Alby who was asleep with admiration. Her clean white skin, her nose, thin eyelashes plus a mole near her left lip add to Alby's perfection. Devi's gaze descended on Alby's natural pink lips. Lips that always scold him and nag him.

"Om Alby is actually handsome but sometimes annoying" Devi said as she touched the tip of Alby's eyelashes.

Devi gasped in shock as soon as her eyes opened both eyes and looked madly at him, but only a few seconds later Alby's eyes softened again.

"What are you sitting there for?" ask Alby.

"Watching on to Alby. You're so handsome, um," Devi replied as she pointed her thumb at Alby.

"I knew. Oh yeah, shouldn't you be screaming so much when you wake up in a guy's room? What if I did something to you? You're not scared?" ask Alby.

"What am I shouting for? Didn't we sleep together last night?" ask Devi plain. "I trust you anyway, you won't do anything bad to me" Devi continued.

"Something bad what?" alby asked to try and lure Devi.

"What a bad thing. It could be that once I sleep, om Alby instead put me to bed by the pool alone or even put me to sleep in front of the door of the neighbor's house," answered Devi innocently.

Alby smiled faintly. Apparently Devi did not understand what he meant, but let Devi be like that. Her innocent nature is really adorable.

"Get out of my room, I'm gonna take a shower."

Alby got up from his sleep and decided to take a shower.

"Om let's go for a walk" whined Devi as she stopped Alby and shook her hand.

"No way."

"Om I'm so bored at home. Let's go for a walk or we'll go get some ice cream at the cafe near the hospital where Alby works. Come on om," whine Devi who makes Alby inevitably obey. Devi is really like a puppy who will not leave before being followed by her wishes.

"Yes-yes, quickly you go take a shower there! You stink so."

"Yeayy om want me to kiss again no?!!" devi asked as she pressed her lips towards Alby.

"No!" push down Alby while holding Devi's forehead using her index finger. "Quick go take a shower or we don't go."

"Yes, I want to go take a shower" said Devi as she ran to her room.

Devi was not ceaselessly complaining because the road was jammed, even her car moved an inch not. Not usually the streets are so very jammed like this even though it is Sunday.

Devi looked around and there were some people running towards the front. It did not escape Alby's sight.

"What's up, om? Why are these people running forward? Is there a demo?" confused Devi.

"I don't know."

"Take a left om. There's a better way to get to the hospital where Alby works."

There's been an accident!!!

Hurry up and get the ambulance and the police here!!!

Not until Alby responded to Devi's words, Alby faintly heard someone shouting an accident occurred.

"You wait here don't come out!" alby orders him to take off his seat belt and get out of the car.

Not until Devi asked further, Alby was out of the car first.

Alby ran to the scene of the accident. Apparently the accident was what caused the traffic jam.

"Please have an accident!!"

"Has he died?"

"The accident was terrible!"

Alby tried to break through the crowd and his eyes could immediately catch a car that hit the road barrier. The victim is still in the car and why are there no ambulances or police handling?

"What's this?" alby asked an old man who was standing at the front row.

"The car just hit a roadblock, it looks like the brakes are blong."

"Have anyone contacted the ambulance and the police yet?" ask Alby.

"Already, but it looks like the ambulance has trouble coming here because it's stuck. The police are also confused to find a shortcut to get here on time" explained the old man.

Alby walked closer to the victim of the accident. Apparently it was a single accident as there were no other fatalities other than the driver of the car itself.

"He was unconscious and his mouth was spitting out foam mixed with blood, besides I didn't smell alcohol. It seems like this is indeed because the brakes are blong," said Alby as he examined the victim. Alby's eyes were perfectly rounded once he realized something.

"Hurry and help me get the victim out!! I'm a doctor!!" alby shouted for help while showing his doctor's id card which he always took wherever he was.

"Doctor Alby? How did you get here?" greet one of the rescue workers.

"I happened to pass by. Please quickly remove the victim," Alby's orders are directly carried out by a rescue officer named Edo.

Alby had served in the IGD department for several years and he was also often assigned to rescue patients in the field such as accidents or natural disasters. So automatically he also cooperates with the rescue team from the fire department.

"How long will the ambulance arrive?" ask Alby to Edo.

"We came. Doctor Alby? Aren't you off duty today?" asked Raden who had just arrived together with Fitra.

Alby turned his back and looked at Raden and Fitra alternately.

"Only you two?" alby ignored Raden's question.

"Yes doc."

Alby frowned in wonder. Why did the hospital send two doctors who were not even so experienced to plunge into the field without being accompanied by other doctors? The resident doctor, for example?

"We have successfully removed the docking driver" said Edo interrupting.

"Hurry up and get the equipment and follow me!" Alby's orders.

Raden and Fitra rushed to follow Alby from behind.

Once arrived, Alby immediately approached the victim and began to check back.

"His leg had a comminutive fracture and his mouth had mixed blood foam" Alby said, explaining the patient's condition, but Alby wanted to test which decision Raden would make.

"Foam with blood?!!" said Raden was surprised to see the condition of the victim.

"Yes. Which one do you have to deal with first?" ask Alby.

"Bada part," replied Raden steadily.

"You're right. This is because of a wound in the lungs. Estimates of the wound area are in the upper lung and its cause-"

Krek!!!

Alby tore off the victim's shirt and saw a purplish-red bruise on the upper chest rather midway.

"When he hit the roadblock he was hit by a hard chest stroke more precisely the heart but not until the cardiac tamponade*, but there was a little bleeding. Hurry and get the ambulance closer here!!!" Alby's orders.

Alby who was surprised to hear a sound like someone was falling immediately raised his gaze forward and he saw someone who was falling unconscious. Alby knows who it is!! It's Devi!!

"Doctor please someone fainted!!!" shouted one of the citizens.

Alby stared at the victim and Devi alternately. He is worried about Devi's situation but he is unlikely to leave the victim of this accident to the amateur doctor before him. The circumstances of the accident victims are more serious than Devi's situation so Alby chose to save the victims of the accident first and chose to leave Devi to Raden.

"Devi!!" pekik Raden was shocked.

"This is my car keys. You take Devi to the hospital in my car and I take this patient by ambulance. Oh yes my car is in front of a fork in black and plate number xxxx. You just turn left, so you can get to the hospital without getting stuck" Alby told Raden.

Quickly, Raden immediately ran towards the crowd that was crowding Devi. Raden immediately carried Devi bridal style and took her to Alby's car.

"And you're a snail. Quickly move the patient into the ambulance!" alby's orders to Fitra.

"Si.siput?"

"Yes! Wh why? You don't take it?!"

"Ti.no doc. Ba..well I'll call an ambulance here!"

Fitra stood up and ordered an ambulance to get closer to him. Not long after, the victim was transferred to an ambulance and immediately taken to the hospital.

"You've done endotracheal intubation before?" alby asked as soon as they were in the ambulance.

"Well ap..what doc?"

"The nickname I pinned on you is not wrong. Why did the hospital send the angel of death here?!!" angry Alby while looking at his forehead dizzy.

"Get me a syringe with the infusion slang!" alby's orders to Fitra.

Fitra immediately took the needle that was meant by Alby and immediately handed it to Alby.

"Hopefully Devi is fine. I'm very worried about him but I have to focus on saving this patient first" Alby said in his heart while remaining focused on the patient before him.

"Be careful how I perform endotracheal intubation*. If you take your eyes off for a moment, I'll take your eyeballs off!"

"Yes.iya doc."
