The next day as Devi opened her eyes, she saw Sean smiling at her. Yes, Devi did sleep next to Sean even though nurses and doctors had banned him but Devi still insisted on sleeping with Sean.

Slowly Sean's outstretched hand stroked Devi's hair and slipped it into Devi's ear.

"You awake?" sean asked softly which was embraced by Devi.

"But I want to sleep again" Devi said, hugging Sean even tighter.

Sean chuckled softly as he ruffled Devi's hair before he remembered something.

"Dev," call Sean.

"Hm?" devi replied without opening her eyes.

"Said Alby you're lazy to study and busy dating Raden. Is true?" ask Sean.

"Right," Devi honestly.

Sean let out a slow sigh before he finally changed his expression and flicked Devi's forehead slowly.

Yoke!

"Ouch! Why is big brother jerking my forehead?!!" devi protests while rubbing her forehead.

"Why are you lazy to study and even busy dating?! You are a kid and your job is to learn instead of dating! I don't want to know if you can't date Raden! You need to focus on your future!" nagel Sean.

"My future is Raden's brother!" reply Devi.

"What server?!! You wouldn't be able to date Raden if your grades were still red! I don't want to know, from now on you should focus on studying and school! Watch out if Alby tells me you're dating Raden again" Sean threatened.

Sean accidentally does not tell Devi who Raden really is because Devi does not know if his parents died because he was killed and the person who killed him was Raden's father.

"God, why is it so noisy in the morning?" reprimand Renata who just entered Sean's ward.

"Just ask Sean's brother, "snake Devi and throw her face away from Sean.

"Dev!" renata Tegur. "You can't be like that to your brother" Renata continued as he walked closer to Devi.

Renata was surprised to see Devi crying. Devi immediately codes Renata not to tell Sean if he is crying. Devi only thought if later she could still hear her brother scolding her again? Thinking like that alone made Devi sad.

"I'm gonna take a shower first. After this brother Sean has to accompany me for another walk," said Devi as she got up and walked towards the bathroom.

Sean looked at Devi's back with a little confusion. Why did Devi rush off?

"Devi why?" sean asked Renata.

"Why what? She wants to go take a shower, after all, if it's here with you you're sure to keep nagging her nonstop" Renata said.

"Am I that shrewd?" sean asked Renata.

"Little."

Renata sits on a chair next to Sean's gurney.

"How are you feeling?" asked Renata gently while holding Sean's hand.

"good. At least today my condition makes it possible to accompany Devi for a walk" Sean said.

Hearing this made Renata cry. Renata cries beside Sean's gurney.

"Ta why are you crying? Stop crying, there's Devi in the bathroom. What if he hears your cry?" sean panics while calming Renata down.

Renata closed her mouth using her hands to muffle her crying.

"I'm fine Ta. What are you worried about?"

Renata wiped her tears and looked towards Sean.

"We go to America, right? Mayo Clinic Hospital in Rochester is the best cancer hospital in the world. I'm sure if we get treatment there you'll be healed" Renata said in tears.

"Ta, you're a doctor. Of course you know better about my condition. Do you think I can recover even if I go there?" sean asked smiling.

Renata was speechless unable to answer him and could only cry.

"I hope you find someone who is able to love you sincerely and is able to take good care of you. I'm sorry I couldn't keep you company until the end" Sean said with his eyes beginning to glaze over. "Stop crying, Devi will hear you."

Devi who heard the conversation all from inside the bathroom immediately poured her body into the coldness of the bathroom floor. He bent his knees and hid his face between the folds of his hands. Devi cried in silence.

"Your face is pale, are you sure you want to go?" ask Renata to worry.

"Of course, quickly put on my jacket. Devi will be out of the bathroom soon."

Devi let out a heavy sigh before she finally opened the bathroom door and walked cheerfully towards Sean and Renata.

"You still mad at my sister?" ask Sean to Devi.

"No. I'm used to being romanced so you don't have to feel guilty" replied Devi lightly.

Devi glanced at Renata who looked silent with both eyes.

Devi did not answer immediately, she observed Sean's face that looked much paler than before and Devi's gaze also unintentionally saw Sean's hand that was stroking his stomach as if he was muffling his pain.

"Here you go. I'm lazy to get out, the weather is hot I'm afraid of black" Devi said as she walked up Sean's gurney.

"Why are you going up again?" sean asked who saw Devi asking her to slightly shift using her hand gesture.

"I want to lie down while watching my favorite Korean drama" Devi replied starting the television.

"Son Renata wasn't jealous seeing me sleeping with Sean's brother?" goda Devi on Renata to melt the atmosphere.

"Ti.no! Why am I jealous. I can sleep with my roll later," Renata replied which made Devi and Sean laugh.

During watching the drama, Devi was not ceaselessly talking and commenting on characters who she thought were evil even occasionally Devi had to have an argument with Renata.

Sean felt his stomach hurt. Not wanting to make Devi worry, Sean stretched out his hand to stroke her stomach slowly so that the pain would lessen. But Sean was a little surprised as soon as he felt Devi's hand which also stroked his stomach slowly with eyes that stared straight at the television.

"I'm sure the culprit must be Gi Osung" Devi said without stopping his hand stroking Sean's stomach.

"You're right. Well, I really want to hit Gi Osung and what kind of plotwist is this?!! Why is it that Jaebum isn't Seohoon showing up?!" heboh Renata's.

Sean felt his tears begin to pool in his eyes before he finally turned his face towards the window.

Devi took a quick glance at Sean and he knew his brother must be in pain and he reached out his hand to stroke Sean's stomach so that the pain would be slightly reduced.

Renata who responded immediately took a place that he had prepared if at any time Sean wanted to vomit and put it on Sean.

"Sean are you okay?" asked Renata while kneeling softly nape Sean.

Devi immediately got out of bed and just silently watched Sean vomit.

Devi bit her lower lip confused by what she should do.

"Does your stomach hurt?" ask Renata.

"No," Sean lied because Devi was there.

Devi knew her brother was clearly lying. Devi could see the look on Sean's face that was holding back pain with a sweat that flooded his forehead. Devi took the initiative to just go out so that her brother could tell Renata the truth.

"I have to go out to buy a drink" said Devi.

"Ja..don't go," prevent Sean with a gasp of breath.

Devi stopped her steps and turned towards Sean while Renata pressed the red button next to Sean's gurney to call the doctor.

"Sister's company for a moment" asked Sean with his eyes closed.

Devi's tears could no longer be contained. Devi was sobbing beside Sean.

"Hust don't cry, you're fine just a little nauseous" Sean said without opening his eyes.

Renata who was monitoring Sean's condition began to panic as Sean's heart rate slowly began to weaken and his blood pressure decreased.

"Damn!" aspir Renata restrained.

Not long after the doctor who handled Sean arrived and immediately gave help to Sean.

"His heart rate slowed down and his blood pressure dropped" Renata told Sean's vitals. (His heart rate is weakening and his blood pressure is dropping dramatically.)

"I will handle it" the doctor replied as he began examining Sean. (I'll handle it.)

"Dev let's go out" Renata took Devi's hand.

Devi just silently stared while looking straight at Sean who was being handled by the doctor.

"But Sean's brother asked me to stay" Devi said.

"Let's get out, our existence here will only interfere with the doctor's job of saving your brother," Renata persuaded before Devi finally resigned when her hand was grasped and pulled out by Renata.

"Dev," called Renata slowly as soon as he saw Devi who just lowered her head deeply.

Renata knew what Devi was feeling now. Devi must be afraid that Sean left her right now. Let alone Devi, Renata himself was also afraid of it happening.

"23 days," said Devi, who made Renata frown, not understanding. "It hasn't been 23 days, has it?" devi asked with tears.

Renata only shook his head weakly in response.

"Then I can calm down. Om Alby says it's 23 days and it's not even half the 23 days. Brother Sean will not leave us now brother," Devi told Renata with a smile.

But not long after the doctor who handled Sean out and immediately tell Sean's condition to Renata. Devi who did not understand English was just silent waiting for Renata to explain to her later.

After the doctor left, Renata walked over to Devi and immediately knelt while holding Devi's hands. Devi knows for sure that Sean's condition is getting worse or worse, Sean has died as soon as he sees Renata kneeling before him while crying.
