Raden growled furiously as soon as he realized that his plan was not going well.

Shouldn't he have gotten a phone call from Arin telling him Devi was dead? But why until now did Arin not give him any news?

"Den," call Fitra who just finished from the bathroom.

Raden turned his body to look at his best friend.

"You haven't slept all night? Look at your eye bags so horrible," pointed Fitra at Raden's eye bags.

"I can't sleep" Raden said, looking back at his phone screen.

"You don't shower? We have to hurry before Dr. Alby arrives. I don't want to be scolded anymore" said Fitra.

"All right I'm going to take a shower" Raden said with a heavy sigh.

Ever since Alby kissed Devi last night, both of them have looked awkward. Devi who is usually lazy when Alby asks him to study is now very diligent in learning. As of today, Devi was just busy studying in the car without having Alby talk like before.

Alby let it happen instead he felt happy because Devi became diligent in learning without Alby having to nag him. Alby can now save his energy.

Along the way to school, the two of them just kept quiet without anyone starting a conversation and without feeling now they have arrived in front of the Devi school gate.

"There's no extracurricular?" ask Alby.

"No," Devi replied as she tidied up her book and put it in a bag. "Om Alby doesn't have to pick me up, I can take the bus with Arin and Gara. After all today we wanted to study a group at the Anonymous cafe. I can go, can't I?" devi's permission was taken by Alby.

"Then go, then" replied Alby.

"I went to school, drugs." Devi waved her cheerful hand towards Alby.

Apparently only Alby felt awkward being near Devi. Just look at the girl, she was acting cheerful as usual only what distinguishes her from being diligent in learning. That'sthat's all.

After Devi enters the school gate, Alby runs his car and rushes to his workplace. He was eager to see the look on Raden's face once he knew his plan had failed. Must've been fun!

After a few minutes on the way, Alby arrived at the hospital where he worked. As soon as he arrived, he went straight into his room and changed his clothes. He then went out into the IGD room.

Once he arrives, Alby is immediately confronted by Renata who asks for an explanation about yesterday. Why did Alby ask Renata to contact Raden at that time so Raden did not meet with Devi.

"So what's the matter exactly?" ask Renata.

Not until Alby answers Renata's question, the voice calls Sister Ratna interrupting them.

"The doctor will soon have a construction accident patient. Five minutes the patient will arrive."

"I'll explain it later after we've treated this patient" Alby said, patting Renata's shoulder gently.

Renata nodded her head and got ready with Alby.

"Where are snails and shrimp? Why hasn't the nose been seen yet?!!!" angry Alby as soon as he saw an ambulance arrive.

"I've contacted them doc, soon they will arrive" sister Ratna said.

Alby ignored Ratna's words and walked closer to Edo, who was removing the patient from the ambulance.

"Bekisting pier head that is being cast is not strong enough to withstand the load so that it collapsed, three workers fell and were hit by material" said Edo said the root of the problem.

Alby nodded in understanding.

"The tension and pulse are stable, there are blisters and wrist pain, the thumb is docked numb" Edo told the patient's condition.

Alby also held the middle-aged man's wrist which was lying weak.

"Do you feel any pain when I press like this?" ask Alby.

"No doc" replied the middle-aged man.

"Do you feel anything?" ask Alby again while pressing the man's hand slightly firmly.

"No. I felt nothing" the man replied.

"Hoi snail!!" alby shouted as soon as he saw Raden who had just come with Fitra and ran to him.

"Where have you been?!! Why so long?!! You didn't hear any emergency call?!!" alby's anger at Fitra.

"Sorry doc" said Fitra.

Alby breathed a rough sigh. He had to hold back his emotions and put more importance on the emergency condition of his patients.

"Maybe a boost injury, circulation is safe but the median nerve is depressed. Bearing for arm, request AP¹ photo and lateral forearm, then immediately do the reduction," Alby orders Fitra.

"Nice doc." Fitra immediately took over the patient and immediately took him to the action room.

"Where are the other resident doctors?! Why are only snails and shrimp here?!!" alby asked Renata in a furious tone.

"Today there was a conference and all the resident doctors followed suit" Renata replied.

"Damn it!"

Alby immediately ran towards the next patient.

"The patient fell from a height of 25 meters and injured the back of the head."

"How's his blood pressure?" alby asked one of the rescuers.

"His blood pressure is 80/50, the patient is unconscious and his left eye reflex is gone."

"I'll take care of this patient" Renata said.

"All right, I'm handing the patient over to you" Alby said.

Alby immediately ran towards the last patient followed by Raden behind him.

Not until Alby approached the last patient, one of the sisters ran up to Alby and told Alby if Fitra made a mistake and his patient's condition was critical.

"Damn! You slug of death!!" alby is angry. "Your last patient handled it" Alby told Raden.

"Quickly ask the help of anesthesiologists and other doctors who are currently in a free mood! We're short of medical personnel!" alby's orders oada the nurse.

Raden looked surprised yet he seemed to have no other choice but to accept it.

Alby was actually worried about leaving Raden alone especially with the ability of doctors like that. However, IGD currently lacks medical personnel and has no choice but to trust Raden's abilities.

"The 45-year-old man with a reinforcing rod penetrated his stomach" Edo said. "Lho's? Where's doctor Alby?" surprised Edo is so not Alby who handles the last patient.

"I will handle it" Raden said with confidence.

Alby, who was conducting an emergency operation with Fitra, received an emergency call from IGD. One of the doctors approached Alby.

"There's a call from IGD doc."

"I'll take it" Alby said, remaining focused on the operation.

"Doctor Alby, 45-year-old man. A booster rod one meter through his stomach," Raden said frantically across the street.

Other doctors including Fitra were surprised to hear Raden's words.

"Stay fucking focus!!!" it was Alby's snapping that brought Fitra and the other doctors back into focus.

"Where is it?" ask Alby.

"normal enough. Her pulse is 130, no big bleeding."

"Do FAST² in case of hemoperitoneum³. Take care of her vitals, I pull out the trunk" Alby said.

"You listen? Finish it in 30 minutes" Alby said.

Accidentally one of the sisters slipped and nudged the reinforcement rod, so that the reinforcement rod immediately fell down to get out of the stomach. As soon as the reinforcement stem detached from the stomach, blood instantly spurted out. Raden, who intended to stop the slumping booster stem from falling down, was immediately exposed to a burst of patient blood right on his face, leaving him shocked in fear.

"Take gauze!!" sister Ratna's orders are indeed ordered by Alby to help Raden. "The boiler!!! Where are you fucking?!!" Angry Alby. "You hear me not?!!! Control yourself fool!!!"

Alby's impact over the phone made Raden immediately aware.

"I.i.iya doc," stuttered Raden.

"Ten minutes. Hang on, I'll be there in ten minutes. Use all your abilities to keep him alive until I arrive. Understand?!!!!" angry Alby.

"Ba.baik doc," replied Raden with a trembling tone of fear.

"The strength is constantly decreasing. Sister Lia quickly grab the gauze!!!!" ratna's orders.

"Raden what are you doing jerk!!! Why are you just quiet!!!" angry Ratna so Raden just silence with his hands shaking in fear.

"Damn the tension drops again."

Not until the phone was closed, Alby heard a commotion in the ER room.

"Damn!!! Snail you can carry on with the rest, right?"

"Yes doc,"

"Do it! I have to save the patient from the hands of the shrimp!"

Alby rushed straight to the IGD room. When he arrived, he saw Raden, who was falling, sitting down and crying at his feet.

"I failed to save the patient Doc. The patient died" Raden said on the sidelines of his cries.

Seeing Raden crying in front of him made Alby slightly change his view of Raden. Why is Raden crying like this after losing his patient when last night he just wanted to kill Devi?

The more he gets here, the more Alby doesn't understand Raden. There was no way a murderer like Raden would cry like this just because he failed to save a patient. From here Alby is sure if Raden actually still has a conscience that at any time Alby can instill to forgive Devi. Yes, Alby will make Raden forget his evil intentions to Devi by exploiting a slight gap in his weakness.

From now on Alby will ask Raden more often to deal with patients with severe injuries, that way Raden will know how difficult it is for doctors to save and maintain a patient's life so that Raden realizes that his job is to save someone's life rather than kill him.

"It's okay. You've done well" said Alby, calming Raden down. "Now do you know how valuable human life is?"
