The Flashback

All hostilities between the Anggara and Wardhani families began one month in the rainy season five years ago. At that time heavy rain poured into the city of Jakarta without stopping. Lightning snatched and thunder boomed without the slightest pause. The wind began to blow fiercely ready to sweep whatever was before him mercilessly.

The pedestrians were busy running the ridge to save themselves from the ferocity of the storm in that terrible afternoon. But in contrast to one man with a tall stout figure was driving a black porche car seemed to wander casually splitting the streets.

Cars with billions of prices even stopped in front of a skyscraper with arrogance. The owner was seen descending from the car and walking into the building accompanied by several men in black clothes behind him. He is Banyu Wardhana. The owner of the skyscraper. Wardhana Inc's. Companies engaged in electronics, transportation and property were quite successful at that time.

Banyu walked past the polite looking workers towards him with an untouchable cold gaze until a teenage girl ran up to him and spread her arms asking Banyu to hold her. Banyu crouched down and greeted his little daughter happily. His facial expression instantly changed 180° as soon as he saw the look of the spoiled face of the princess who asked to carry her.

"Devi's here?" banyu asked softly while kissing Devi's cheeks.

"Yes, same Sean. You're bringing no ice cream?"

"Sorry I forgot. Later when we go home we stop by the supermarket to buy ice cream huh?" banyu asked as he walked into the elevator and pressed the top button.

"Yes." Yeah." Devi nodded her head and hugged her father's neck tightly.

"You're a teenager still asking for daddy's cradle, how about dad's bones break because you're heavy?" canda Banyu pinched her daughter's nose.

"Just be wild. Anyway, I want to carry daddy on." Banyu kissed his daughter's anxiety upon hearing the spoiled tone he thought was pampering his ears. He loved his little daughter so much without a trace.

"Where's your brother?" ask Banyu.

"Not knowing."

Banyu immediately contacts Sean to ask where he is and why Sean left twelve-year-old Devi alone in his office.

As soon as he got out of the elevator, Banyu saw a man standing in front of his study. Banyu knows who he is, he is Brama Anggara. His confidant who got the assignment to open a new 'business' for him two years ago.

"Meira," called Banyu to his secretary who was at his desk.

"Yes sir." Meira immediately walked over to Banyu and bowed politely.

"Please bring Devi to find Sean." Banyu orders Meira.

"I want to come with you," whined Devi not to let go of her hug on Banyu's neck.

"Dad's still busy, baby. You came with Auntie Meira to find sister. I promise you, I'll finish my job soon and go see you for ice cream" Banyu said gently.

Although initially refused, Devi eventually went to find her brother with Meira.

After making sure there were only Banyu and Brama, Banyu immediately ordered Brama to enter his study.

"Well, did you come to see me here? Didn't I tell you not to meet me here?" banyu asked coldly.

The man named Brama also seemed to bow his head apologizing for his carelessness who met his boss at work.

"I'm sorry sir. I'm here to give this up." Brama thrust a brown envelope with the resignation letter on top of it.

Banyu stared at the envelope angrily. He took the brown envelope and opened it violently.

"I'm sorry. I don't think I can work with you anymore, sir. 'This 'Business' is really burdensome to me. I can't afford-"

Sruats!!!

Banyu threw the envelope containing the letter right into Brama's face.

"Ah sorry my hands are slippery," said Banyu. "Get it and give it to me again, I haven't read it."

Brama picked up the envelope and the letter. When Brama squatted to collect the letter, Banyu immediately threw his kick towards Brama which made Brama fall down.

Not satisfied until there, Banyu immediately floated his kick many times and trampled Brama violently until blood began to flow in his nose and temple.

Banyu grabbed Brama's neat hair and stared intently at her.

"This business from the beginning I gave it to you. You've also received tens of billions from this business and now you want to quit? What kind of nonsense is this?! You know I dislike people who never do their job" he said.

Brama remained silent. It's true what Banyu said. He has received money from the business and is he able to return tens of billions of money to Banyu? Where did he get money from?

"No need to think about giving it back if you don't have any money. Don't you have a beautiful wife?"

Brama's eyes immediately rounded as soon as he heard his boss mention his wife. Cold sweat began to pour down his forehead.

With his creepy aura, Banyu walked closer to Brama.

"Don't touch my wife" Brama sizzled.

"Why? Aren't you able to return the tens of billions to me? I will only ask for one kidney and both eyes as compensation from you so that your debt to me is paid off."

Instead of pity, Banyu just laughed evilly at how helpless a Brama before him.

"Listen, you think I don't know if you're reporting this business to the police? You want to destroy me with this business, right? You resigned before the police acted."

Brama is shocked once his boss finds out his plan. Brama thought he had hidden this matter tightly but why was the information still leaked? Who exactly was the person who told this to Banyu?

"Sa. I just want to stop you. The human organ trafficking business is very illegal sir. If you continue this business, you can get in trouble. Don't you have a daughter anyway?"

"Close your mouth! You don't have to hunt me." Banyu walked closer towards Brama. "You just want to resign, don't you?" tanya Banyu who was immediately embraced by Brama.

Slowly Banyu took the laptop and showed a vidio call that made Brama round his eyes in surprise.

How not, there on the laptop screen owned by Banyu looks a woman who is already helpless with a body full of bruises. The woman's eyes looked pretty with her pale face.

"What are you doing!" hiss Brama angry.

"Take my money back. Dean drove the woman home, her husband must have missed her."

Brama clenched his hands tightly until his knuckles turned white. His angry eyes never stopped glaring at Banyu who was currently smiling triumphantly at him.

"Go home, your wife is waiting for you at home. I have released you and I assume your debt is paid. But if you interrupt my business again, I won't hesitate to shoot you in the head right then" Banyu threatened.

Flashback off

Raden's hands clenched firmly upon hearing the story flowing from his uncle's lips. His jaw was hardened and his face was flushed red withstanding anger.

"After your father returned home, he found your mother helpless and lying in front of the porch. When your father held your mother in his arms, intending to bring her inside, your mother's clothes were exposed and her stomach had stitches." Bima looked at Raden solemnly. "Banyu took your mother's kidney and he sold it to make up for your father's debt."

"Your father was angry but he could do nothing. Your father tried to protect his little family including yourself with great difficulty. Your father has applied to various companies but no one wants to accept him. Of course it was because of Banyu. Your father came to see your uncle for help and finally we built a small company to support you and send you to school. Until one day our business grew. Not as big as Banyu's but we had enough influence back then."

"Banyu was not happy to hear that so he devised a plan to destroy our company and he succeeded. Banyu took over our company. Anggara Inc's. Having a connection with the black world makes it easy to get help and whatever he wants becomes a reality. We were so angry and desperate that we thought of one of his weaknesses, Devi. We kidnapped Devi and were about to take her kidney as well as her father did to your mother. But Devi managed to escape."

Bima took a pause for a moment with her straight eyes staring blankly in front of her.

"Uncle saw it from CCTV while uncle was cleaning evidence. On CCTV Devi walks into her father's room and he doesn't come out until his father is killed. In the end, we had to get rid of it. I thought he was dead in the accident but in fact he survived and just forgot his memory."

Raden was twitching his temple dizzy. What kind of truth is this?

"Listen Anggara Inc. and Wardhana Inc. will be handed over to Devi at the age of 25. Anggara is yours not Devi. Your uncle and your father built it, not Banyu. You have to reclaim what should be yours" Bima said staring intently at Raden.

"Kill Devi, if she remembers everything our family will be completely destroyed. The antagonist here is not our family and the cruelty of our family is caused by Banyu's own-father Devi. Think of the pain and humiliation your father and mother received Den. We're asking you to kill Devi not for no reason."

Raden looks a little riled up even though his jaw is still hardened to hold the anger that has been in the crown. Raden stared at Bima steadily.
