The End of Revenge

Alby sat down beside Devi's body which was now lying weakly on the bed with a sad look. There was a sense of regret inside his chest as soon as he saw Ganendra successfully injuring Devi. If he had taken Devi to the hospital, Ganendra would not have found Devi and ended up injuring her.

But now the rice has become porridge. There's no point in Alby regretting it now.

During this time Raden chose the fastest way to kill Devi so that the girl did not feel too much pain for a long time. That is why he was angry when he found out Ganendra killed Devi by wounding her while he only used a snail whose poison did not even hurt in the body but killed a human in less than ten minutes.

When Raden was about to inject liquid in Devi's infusion, suddenly he felt someone was pulling the tip of his jacket making Raden surprised.

"Sister Raden," called out to the weak Devi with a gaze that pointed towards Raden's hand that was holding the syringe.

"Well, are you awake?" asked Raden nervously.

Raden undoes his intention and keeps the injection in his jacket pocket again. Raden chose to listen to the explanation of his loved ones first and he would think what steps he should take.

Devi held back her sentence. His breathing was choked and his chest felt tight if he had to go back to remembering the incident.

Raden was silent.

Devi nodded weakly.

"I'm sorry" said Devi.

"Why are you sorry? Do you feel guilty?!" ask Raden quickly.

Devi fell silent.

"I don't have any friends until you come and make me friends."

Devi leaned her head towards Raden and looked at Raden seriously.

"I heard from Arin that you were friends with me because you made them friends with me. It's because I helped you when you fell off the swing. Is true?"

Devi simply nodded her head in response.

"It was the first time I fell in love with a little boy and a whiny like you. I like you but my feelings are hindered by my family's grudge. I was asked to kill you when in my heart I wanted to protect you. It really tormented me" cried Raden. "Sudge my family won't be avenged before you die."

Raden brought his face closer to Devi. Devi looked into Raden's eyes intensely as well as Raden. Raden's right hand gently caressed Devi's face.

Devi scrunched her forehead confused by Raden's words.

After hearing Devi's reply, Raden kissed Devi's lips gently. Devi just silently accepted it with tears streaming down her cheeks.

Without them both realizing, Alby who was just back then immediately fell silent and stopped his steps as soon as he saw Raden kissing Devi.
