Devi was unceasingly lashing out at her bed in annoyance. How not, Alby actually went to Jessica's birthday show even though Devi had already banned her and gave her a threat.
So Devi thinks what kind of deal is Alby doing with that shitty director?
When was Alby's matchmaking deal with Aunt Laudya? Ah no way!
Devi again hit her bed repeatedly until accidentally her hand hit her surgery wound.
"Aragh!! It hurts!!" peekik Devi complained of pain.
Delay her stomach slowly which is still wrapped in bandages, hoping that the pain will decrease.
Geck! Geck!
Chequek!
Devi immediately stopped stroking her stomach and tried to act ordinary even though the pain in her stomach had not subsided.
"Hi, how are you? I'm sorry I haven't seen you since you woke up" said Renata walking towards Devi.
"It's okay brother. I know big brother must be very busy," replied Devi understandingly.
"Alright, then I'll change the bandage on your stomach first. Does it still hurt?" ask Renata while preparing her tools.
"No," Devi lied. For some reason since the incident he was kidnapped and almost lost his organs made Devi very afraid of other doctors even though it was Renata and Devi did not dare to tell the truth even though her stomach was painful due to a blow accidentally hit his stomach.
"Seriously not sick? Your stomach is bleeding a little and a few stitches are removed" Renata said, looking at Devi, who was biting her lower lip as if she was holding back pain.
"No pain," great-grandson Devi quietly.
"All right, I'll fix it. You're not doing any strenuous activity, are you? And your stomach didn't get any pressure or blow, did it?"
"No" replied Devi.
Renata began to treat and replace bandages on Devi's stomach. Devi clutched her bed linen tightly to endure the pain she felt. Sweat began to drench his forehead and the shadow of his past slowly spun back to fill his head.
"If it hurts, say it hurts. It's okay," said Renata softly. Devi just silently flinching without answering Renata's words because he was busy removing the dark shadow from his head.
"It's over." Renata immediately tidied up his equipment and now looked towards Devi who looked sweaty and pale.
"Dev you okay?" ask Renata to worry.
"I'm doing fine. Really, Brother Renata need not worry about me," Devi replied with a smile. Devi couldn't possibly tell Renata what she had experienced.
Renata sighed softly then clasped Devi's left hand and looked at her sincerely.
"Dev, if there's anything you want to say or you need a friend to tell me, whenever I'm ready. Even though I'm not married to your sister, you're still my sister. Say whatever is in your mind that is bothering you. I will help you," said Renata softly.
Devi looked moved as she looked at the other side of Renata that she had yet to meet. Renata now seems much more mature than he used to be eleven twelve with her.
"Sister, you know what deal Alby made with the director?" ask Devi at the end.
"Deal?" confused Renata.
"Yes. Alby refused an invitation to come to Jessica's birthday party with Aunt Laudya. But once the director reminded Alby about the deal, Alby immediately agreed. Just look now, Renata's brother came here because asked by the old director sucks it, right?" Devi.
"Dev you're hurting my heart. I didn't come here because the old director sucks it. I came here to accompany you but the director happened to ask me to accompany you" Renata said.
"I didn't mean to insinuate you, sis," Devi said with a loud laugh.
"Argh! Sshhh," ringis Devi.
"Don't laugh like that first. Your wound is still wet" Renata scolded as she prevented Devi's hand from touching her surgical bandage.
"Don't touch, your hand hasn't been wearing a handsanitizer. You can't just touch it before your hands are completely sterile from germs" Renata explained, replacing Devi's hand stroking her stomach.
"Did Alby like Aunt Laudya?" devi asks ignoring Renata's message.
"I don't know but it might be. Alby is not the type of person who will obey the requests of others what else matters of the heart. Alby does not want to be in a relationship with someone he does not like even though he has to be crossed off the family card though" replied Renata who made Devi more lethargic. "What's wrong? Your stomach still hurts?"
"No. I was just upset with Alby. Already knew Jessica was my enemy but still he left, instead he picked up Aunt Laudya to go together. Anyway I'm really mad at him brother! I don't want to meet him!"
"You jealous?" guess Renata laughed a little.
"Yes," Devi replied honestly which made Renata stop her laughter.
"Seriously?"
"Yes." Yeah."
"You like Alby?"
"I love him" replied Devi steadily.
Renata looked surprised for a while before he finally smiled broadly at Devi.
"I support you. I'd rather have you with Alby than Alby with Laudya. I'll-"
Drt...
The call on her phone made Renata stop her words and immediately answer her call.
Devi noticed the look on Renata's face which seemed like something was an emergency.
"Dev sorry I had to go. There's an accident patient who'll be arriving to the IGD in ten minutes. You okay being here alone?" ask Renata to feel guilty.
"It's okay. If I need anything, I'll just call the sisters" Devi replied smilingly.
"Based on that shitty director! He said I should accompany you but now he makes me work when my schedule has been over since last afternoon!!" gerutu Renata as he walked away.
After Renata's departure, Devi just silently stared at the ceiling of her hospital room. Tiredness approached him and he could not possibly contact Arin or Gara to ask him to accompany him in the hospital considering his cell phone is currently being secured by the police as evidence, he said, in addition, Devi also does not memorize Arin and Gara numbers so there is no point also if she borrows a nurse's phone to call her.
Pyars!!
The glass could not be reached and instead fell on the floor. Devi growled angrily, she looked towards the door but not a single nun came into her room.
"Did the sound of these shards not reach their ears?" pissed Devi.
Devi, who was already upset, chose to go back to watching television and let her throat feel dry.
"Om Alby too! Why haven't you been home for so long?!!" gerutu Devi glanced at the wall clock that showed it at eleven o'clock in the evening.
Ting!
Devi looked beside her nightstand. On top of the nightstand is Renata's phone. It seems like Renata forgot to take him because he was in a hurry to bring the equipment he used to clean Devi's wounds and just went out because there was an emergency patient.
Devi initially intended to ignore it, but because she was curious, Devi took Renata's phone and saw Laudya's name listed there.
"Tante Laudya sent what?" ask Devi while opening the picture message.
Devi's jaw immediately hardened and now his anger has reached the crown plus the message that is also listed below the photo makes him more emotional.
'I'm sorry for not wanting to upset you, but Alby said he liked me so I hope you're a little bit at a distance from him. Alby is now mine, now you must know your position.'
Devi immediately typed a reply to Laudya.
'Not me, but Devi and it seems like Alby loves Devi not you!!! You'll never get to Alby anytime!!'
After typing a reply, Devi returned Renata's phone to the nightstand as before with a little throw.
He then pulled the blanket over his face. He was very upset and angry with Alby. Looking at the photo of Alby and Laudya who looked close made him burn with jealous flames.
Devi painstakingly held back the tears that wanted to race down her cheeks because in addition to her stomach that still feels pain she did not want her beautiful face to look swollen the next day.
Her heart ached when she was not Alby's girlfriend. But Devi will love him so it's only natural that his heart hurts.
Chequek!
Alby further hid his face into his thick blanket as soon as he heard the sound of the door opening.
That must be Alby!
Hearing the sound of footsteps approaching Devi further hid her face and pretended to sleep. Today as promised he doesn't want to see Alby!
No sound could be heard other than footsteps now moving away again. Not long after the sound of footsteps was again heard entering the room.
Now Devi can also hear the sound of shard shard. Maybe Alby was cleaning the glass he accidentally dropped earlier.
Devi's breath was choked as Alby pulled down her blanket to avoid covering her face. Devi immediately pretended to be asleep.
"I know you haven't slept yet" Alby said softly.
Devi silently flinched. He still defends his pretense.
"Why haven't you slept yet?" tanya Alby stroked Devi's cheek gently. "Are you angry with me?"
Devi opened her eyes slowly and reluctantly looked at Alby.
"The artist isn't here?" alby asked and again Devi refused to answer him.
Alby sighed softly, knowing he was wrong for not heeding Devi's ban. Devi must be angry because she instead came to Jessica's birthday party which is clearly Devi's enemy.
"Aren't you thirsty? Wanna drink?" tanya Alby thrust a glass of water with a straw to Devi but Devi immediately turned her attention to the side.
Alby sighed heavily and put the glass back on the nightstand.
While putting the water, Alby's eyes accidentally saw Renata's phone which was also on the nightstand. Alby takes it intending to give it to Renata when they meet later.
"So Renata was here, his phone was missing" Alby said, and accidentally his finger scratched the unlocked screen showing a picture of him that Laudya had sent.
Alby's eyes immediately round in surprise and he did not understand why Laudya sent his picture with such a message to Renata. So all this time they were both in a cold war behind Alby.
"Well, did you read the message Laudya sent?" ask Alby to Devi.
Devi just shut up and covered her face with a blanket but Alby stopped her.
"Don't close like that later you're short of breath," Alby softly reprimanded her feelings for Laudya.
Laudya is not important now because the most important thing now is Devi. Alby must figure out a way to keep Devi from getting mad at him again.
"I'm sorry" Alby said regretfully.
"What am I supposed to do to keep you from getting mad at me?" alby asked with a wooing look.
"I'll do anything for you as long as you don't get mad at me anymore" Alby said, trying to persuade Devi.
"whatever?"
It worked!!
"Yes, whatever" said Alby sumringah because Devi was willing to respond to his words.
"I want Alby to stay away from Aunt Laudya."
