Doctor Alby Pujaan Hati

Doctor Alby Pujaan Hati
Swing Mood

"I want Alby to stay away from Aunt Laudya."

Alby fell silent and turned his gaze the other way. Where maybe Alby can comply with Devi's request while he himself is now bound by a deal he made himself with the director.

"I can't" replied Alby, who made Devi stare in disbelief at Alby.

"Why can't it? Did Alby really like Aunt Laudya?" ask Devi quickly.

"Dev, I know you don't like Jessica. But this is between me and Laudya, not Jessica. And again, this is my personal relationship not yours. Even if you forbid me, I'll stick with my choice."

Devi felt her eyes start to blur with tears. It wasn't an answer like this that Devi wanted. Devi wants Alby to obey all his will including obeying his orders. Devi loves Alby and forbids Alby to be close to Laudya.

"It's not about Jessica. I'm not banning you because of Jessica om" said Devi.

"Then what?"

Devi fell silent.

Should he tell Alby the truth? Should he express his feelings now?

"What did Om Alby think of me?" devi asked worriedly, afraid that the answer Alby gave was not as expected.

"Whatchu mean? Why are you suddenly asking like that?"

"What am I in Alby's eyes?" ask Devi again.

Alby seemed to mind answering Devi's question. Really at this time he did not intend to answer the question because honestly at this time his feelings for Devi were still gray and had not it been clear all this time Alby only considered Devi as his sister?

"Sleep, it's late at night. Your condition has not recovered so much" said Alby raising Devi's blanket to the chest limit.

"I don't want to go to bed before Alby answers my question" Devi refused to take down her blanket.

"As far as you are. I'm so tired today and tomorrow I have to go back to work so I want to go to bed. You better be too because tomorrow there are police who want to come here to check on you," said Alby who made Devi immediately stiffened.

"It's okay, I'll keep you company" Alby said, calming Devi down.

"Om" Devi's great-grandson.

"Hm?"

"I'm still mad at you."

"Yes." Yeah."

"I'm serious."

"Yes." Yeah."

"Om Alby don't want to apologize?"

"I've apologized just now" replied Alby puzzled.

"I'm sorry again" Devi's pinta.

"alright. I'm sorry" replied Alby.

Devi also smiled her bitter smile. It seems that banning Alby from approaching Laudya is impossible. So from now on Devi will make Alby fall in love with her in his own way so that Alby can stay away from Laudya by itself.

Aye! The only way is to make Alby fall in love with me!

"I forgive you, um," said Devi in the end.

Alby returned Devi's smile. Alby knows Devi's emotions are still unstable, plus the assault incident he experienced left Devi traumatized and her emotional control in trouble. Alby must understand the mood swing that happened to Devi.

"Well, it's better for you to sleep now."

"Om Alby sleeping where?"

"In my room."

"Not here?" great-grandson Devi.

"I'm going to sleep on the couch" Alby pointed to the sofa next to Devi's gurney.

"Just sleep here" said Devi patting the empty spot beside her.

"can't. This bed is too small. What if later your surgical wound is accidentally nudged by me? Your wounds are still not dry" explained Alby.

Devi seemed to think for a while before she finally nodded at Alby's words.

"All right, I'm going to bed. Om Alby sleeping on the couch over there don't leave me alone."

"Yes." Yeah."

Alby walked and lay on a sofa that was not too long so that his long legs hung freely on the floor.

"Is that comfortable?" ask Devi worried.

"At least more comfortable than sleeping on the floor. Don't think about me, go to sleep quickly" Alby said, closing his eyes.

Devi immediately closed her eyes as soon as she saw Alby had started to fall asleep.

"Ganendra will undergo an examination tomorrow morning and the police will also ask for information from Devi," Bima said as she saw her nephew had just arrived and was taking off his shoes to be replaced by house slippers.

"You take it easy I've made Ganendra mum about his father's incident and I'm sure the case won't be exposed in court. I can guarantee that this case is purely due to assault so you don't have to worry" Bima said.

"Would uncle guarantee that Devi would shut up if questioned by the police? Devi will definitely say everything. The reason why Ganendra attacked him. And I'm sure Devi will answer the reason for going to Ganendra's house is to ask Ganendra to drop the charge. Isn't that the same as opening up a case of malpractice?" reply Raden.

"Devi said he wouldn't sue us. Is that not enough? Can't we use that excuse to end this grudge?" cut Raden.

"What can end?!! That grudge could only end with Devi Den's death! You forgot because who is your father rotting in prison?!!!" bima's wrath on Raden.

"Father in prison for killing his mother Devi not for killing his father Devi uncle!!! Isn't one life avenged two lives more than enough for our family's revenge?!!!" reply Raden with a dead red face full of anger.

"Sean became a prosecutor because she wanted to put her own father in jail but it was too late because you killed Banyu first. Sean can take it all in and he even covered up the murder case but Sean can't stay still once he knows his mother died at your hands. Dad's in jail for your own mistakes so stop your revenge drama right now" Raden said.

"You have been blinded by love. Look, I'm not gonna stop until Devi's dead. Don't blame uncle if uncle has to dirty his own uncle's hand," hissed Bima.

"Then uncle will deal with me," Raden retorted his steps and stared intently at Bima.

"Then let's see to what extent you're able to protect your beloved girl. The girl who made you betray your family!!!!!"

Raden did not answer, he just went into his room and closed the door.

Devi opened her eyes. He awoke from his sleep with a hunting breath. Sweat drenched his forehead as if he had just run a marathon of tens of kilometers.

The shadow of Ganendra attacking him was still lingering in his memories and had just been present in his dream. Devi fell silent while adjusting her still irregular breathing roar.

"It would be crazy for me if nightmares like this continued!" shouts Devi while continuing to calm herself.

"Om," called Devi while looking over at the sofa Alby had previously occupied to sleep on but Alby was not there.

Seeing that there was no Alby in his room made fear creep back into his body. Devi's hand shook followed by tears that began to flow down her cheeks.

Devi quickly hid under her blanket. Afraid that at any time someone would want to harm him again.

Chequek!

"Let's go in."

Devi could hear the sound of approaching footsteps. Not just one, but there are a few.

Devi grew more and more frightened.

"With Devi's sister?"

"Who are you?!!! Go!!! Don't hurt me!!! Please leave!!! Go!!!" devi shouted hysterically from the blanket which immediately made Alby respond to go to Devi.

Alby tries to open the blanket that covers Devi's entire body but Devi still tries to hold it with all her might.

"Don't hurt me, please!!! Go on!! I will not divulge that secret!! I promise but don't hurt me!!" raung Devi's.

"Dev, it's me. Calm down, don't be afraid" said Alby softly.

As soon as she heard Alby's voice, Devi immediately opened her blanket and immediately submerged her head into Alby's arms.

"Review slowly, your surgical wound has not dried yet," Alby gently reprimanded as she held Devi and positioned Devi in her arms as comfortably as possible so as not to suppress her surgical wound.

"Om I'm scared," said Devi.

"It's okay. They're not bad people. They're Dev cops, they just want your testimony, "Alby gently stroked Devi's hair.

Alby seemed to think. Wasn't Devi okay last night and even the girl could be mad at her? Why did it suddenly become like this? Did Devi just have a nightmare from the attack? Alby had to ask Raka after this.

"It's okay, we just want to ask you a few things and we won't hurt you. We're the police, we'll protect you. We promised after asking you a few things that we would leave" a policeman named Aqsal told Devi.

"Hows it? You want to, right?" ask Alby to Devi.

"don't want. I'm afraid they're stabbing me in the stomach or they might even want to sell my internal organs. I don't want to om!" reject Devi.

Alby was surprised to hear Devi's words.

So the trauma is still not gone, is it?

"Can we postpone another time? I think Devi should calm down first" Alby negotiated with some of the police in front of him.

The police seem to be fond of what decision he will take but they seem to have no choice but to wait for Devi to calm down and prepare to tell her about the traumatic incident.

"Well, if Devi's sister is better than ever and can be questioned please contact me."

"All right, sir" replied Alby.

After that the police came out of Devi's ward leaving Devi and Alby alone.

"It's okay, they're gone" said Alby, making Devi give up her arms.

"Om, am I going crazy?" ask Devi.

"No. Why are you talking like that?"

"I just had a nightmare. Dreams when Ganendra attacked me and even dreams of the past when I was kidnapped and about to be taken my organs are also often present in my dreams. Why is that om? I'm not going crazy, am I?"

"No. Of course not. What are you talking about? You can't be crazy. Trust me," comfort Alby even though his heart is full of question marks.

"Let's see Dr Raka? We'll consult him" Alby persuaded.

"I don't want to. I'm afraid to meet strangers om, what if-"

"No." cut Alby. "As long as you're within my reach, I'll protect you and you'll be safe."

It is not impossible after experiencing many bad events Devi so suffering from PTSD and to make sure I have to see Raka!
