Since the incident at the police station the other day, Devi became quiet and often daydreaming. Several times Ishwari and Abhimanyu invite him to talk or take him to go for a walk so that Devi returns as before. And thanks to that, Devi's relationship with Alby's parents grows closer. 

Alby has not returned home for more than two weeks on the grounds that he had to monitor the condition of Ganendra who was rescued by his father. For two weeks Devi had not met with Alby, even Abhimanyu who took off the stitching thread Devi instead of Alby himself.

Devi has also completed her school exams online. Now he is just waiting for his national exam to be conducted.

That afternoon Devi looked at the surrounding nature quietly while enjoying every gust of cold wind that hit her face. Devi loved the view that was not far from Alby's house. There is a small river with a wooden bridge on it and around it grows red roses that appear to bloom adding to its beauty. Not to mention the vast expanse of fields and towering mountains also beautify the scenery there making Devi very comfortable to stay.

Well at least the atmosphere was able to calm Devi's mind from all the events that occurred two weeks ago.

Devi does not expect to meet Bima at the police station and Devi believes Bima is the mastermind behind Ganendra's suicide.

Devi hasn't told her who Bima is to Alby or Abhimanyu. Devi feels this is purely her own problem and now Devi is also growing up so she must be able to overcome her problem alone.

"Non let's go home, the madam and master are already waiting at home," Asep invited who was standing not far from Devi's place.

Devi turned towards Asep who was that age with a stern look.

"See soon, if you want to go home please. I dare myself" replied Devi.

"Don't, you'll be angry" Asep refused.

"Then you sit there quietly don't ask me to go home constantly!"

Asep chose to lock his mouth tightly than he had to listen to Devi nagging.

"Sep!"

"Yes, non."

"Come here" Devi asked as she patted the side.

Asep walked closer towards Devi and sat down beside her.

"What's the non?"

"Any steed?" point Devi towards the expanse of field land where several horses are being released.

"Yes. It belongs to the Alby den" Asep replied.

"Om Alby can ride a horse?" asked Devi quickly who was embraced by Asep.

"I want to ride it" murmured Devi.

"Don't" forbid Asep to hear Devi's murmur.

"Why?"

"They're wild horses, it's hard to control. Den Alby has fallen down and been injured several times, but he did not give up. Now the horses are just according to the Alby den but not to the others. If non Devi wants to, tomorrow we ride a horse belonging to Abhimanyu sir who has been trained," said Asep.

Devi nodded her head understandingly.

"Then let's go home, the lady has been waiting for the old non Devi and soon the sky will start to darken."

Devi also obeyed Asep. They immediately went home with a piggyback using Asep's bicycle.

A few minutes later, they arrived at the Abhimanyu residence. Devi looks at a car parked in the yard with a happy feeling.

It was Alby's car!!

Devi immediately ran away from Asep who was now parking his bike.

"Non don't run! Falling down!!" admonish Asep who was not touched by Devi at all.

Devi excitedly opened the door of the house and her eyes looked out for Alby.

"Home home?" ishwari asked as if he was angry because Devi did not obey her words asking him to go home immediately.

"Sorry aunt, Asep forgot to remind me if I have to go home before evening" replied Devi looking for an excuse. "Om Alby's home?"

Not until Ishwari answers Devi's question, Devi sees Alby sitting on the sofa with a cup of coffee in her hand.

"Of!!" pekik Devi is happy as she sprang into Alby's arms.

The perceptive Abhimanyu immediately took over the coffee in Alby's hands before the coffee was spilled because of Devi's actions.

"Take me off! Don't hug me, you're still sweating and dusty!" nagging Alby without replying or rejecting Devi's embrace.

"Let's just say, who told you not to go home for more than two weeks" Devi replied, getting closer to her embrace. "I miss you so much om" continued spoiled Devi.

Alby chuckles as soon as he hears how effective Devi is to him, not least Abhimanyu and Ishwari who also laugh amusedly.

"Tante hasn't finished scolding you yet" Ishwari recalled as he changed his expression to anger, but of course he was just pretending. He might be angry at Devi.

"Auntie I'm sorry, I forgot aunt's orders. I'm sorry," Devi said with the drama.

Um!

Devi turned her head to the source of the sound. There he saw Laudya sitting on the sofa smiling gently at him.

"Hallo, how's Dev doing?" greet Laudya friendly.

Not long after Devi's eyes caught Jessica coming in the middle of them making Devi look at them with a look of disbelief.

"Have you returned?" laudya asked gently to Jessica who had just come from the bathroom. Jessica just kept quiet did not intend to answer Laudya's question and chose to sit next to Laudya while cross-chested looking at Devi.

"What are you guys doing here for?" devi asked in a clear dislike tone.

"Oh I happen to have a few days' work around here and Alby says it's not far from where I work either so Alby asked me to stop by for a bit, too," laudya replied which made Devi turn to Alby for an answer.

"Laudya's right. I asked him to stop by the house for a while while while they were around here" explained Alby while releasing Devi's embrace but he still let Devi sit on his lap.

"Dev, Alby said Jessica went to school with you. Right?" ask Abhimanyu without knowing the situation.

"Right, we were very close. Even so close we got into a fight so often," replied Devi staring intently at Jessica.

"Oh so? Indeed, if you have become close friends such things are common," commented Abhimanyu without knowing what really happened.

Alby, who saw Devi getting angry, signaled to his father not to talk anymore.

"They just stopped by for a while, after which they'll be home soon," whispered Alby to Devi to calm Devi who kept staring intently at Jessica and Laudya in turn.

"Listen-heard your school test scores dropped huh?" laudya asked with a smile.

Honestly Devi was so sick of seeing Laudya's smiling face like that! Laudya is very good at pretending to be good in front of other people what else are Alby's parents.

"Really?" alby asked, looking at Devi.

"Right," Devi replied without turning her head back to Alby's gaze.

"That's the result if you often go to play with Asep. Aunty has told me to just go to study, "ishwari's nagging like a mother scolding her daughter.

Ishwari and Abhimanyu already consider Devi as his own daughter even he often asked Devi to call him mother, but it seems that this has not materialized because Devi still calls him aunt.

Devi just kept quiet as she poked her lips at Ishwari's nagging. Ishwari and Alby really have the same nature.

"Then what if I become Devi's tutor again? Wasn't yesterday when Devi's tryout value had gone up because of studying with me?" laudya's bargain made Jessica and Devi immediately glare at her eyes.

"Byeah" replied Ishwari and Abhimanyu simultaneously.

"No way!!!" reject Devi raw.

"Don't want what? You have to learn" Ishwari told Devi. "When can you start learning? Aren't we gonna have a national exam soon?" ishwari asked Laudya.

"Tomorrow can," Laudya replied with a big smile.

"I don't want aunty!! I don't want to study with Aunt Laudya!!" push Devi again.

"Why is that why? Wouldn't it be nice if there was a tutor guiding you through the study?"

Devi refused. Devi immediately looked at Alby as if asking Alby for help.

"Om," whined Devi on Alby.

"If you don't want to be forced!" said Jessica. "After all I don't want my brother to teach you!!"

"Eitss what do you want?" Alby restrains Devi's body, which is about to hit Jessica.

"You're bathing. Let go of me om, my body sweaty and dusty later om Alby got allergic!" aveng Devi immediately passed to her room.

Alby sighed while looking at his parents in turn.

"Other times if the child does not want to do not be forced yes well, ma'am," Alby scolded his parents gently.

Ishwari just fell silent and nodded his head while Abhimanyu just kept silent while looking the other way.

"The laudya is almost night, let me drive home," Alby said, rising from his seat.

"Om, my aunt said yes," said Laudya politely followed by Jessica who looked down politely following her brother.

"Yes carefully. Forgive Devi yes, you don't need to come here to be her tutor. But if you want to play please, om open the door wide for you," said Abhimanyu friendly.

"Om good."

Afterwards, Alby drove Laudya home.

Ishwari and Abhimanyu take them off to the terrace of the house and wait for Alby's car to leave.

"Devi doesn't seem to like Laudya much more than Jessica" Ishwari said.

"Yes, but what else? Laudya is Alby's girlfriend, inevitably as a sister, Devi has to like her," said Abhimanyu who made Ishwari look at her with a face that did not like her husband's words so much.

"I would rather have Devi with Alby than Alby with Laudya" Ishwari said as he left Abhimanyu.
