The Evil Plans of Laudya

Laudya invites Devi to go to a quieter place, even though the state of the beach at that time was already very quiet because the holiday season had not begun plus another week of national examinations were carried out. Laudya just did not want what he wanted to say heard by others let alone Alby who had been staring anxiously at him. Oh come on what can he do to hurt Devi? Alby always thinks too much.

"Here you go" said Laudya, taking a seat on the rock.

Now they are in the rock pile which is located a little further from Alby's existence.

Devi followed Laudya and sat a little further in case Laudya did anything to her.

"What does Aunt Laudya want to say?" ask Devi directly.

"Just want to confide in it" Laudya replied as she opened her jacket.

Devi turned her head and her eyes were unintentionally focused on Laudya's chest that looked filled, then she looked towards her chest that was a far cry from Laudya's. Quickly Devi immediately bent her knees to hide her chest. It did not escape the sight of Laudya who laughed a little at him.

"This is fake" said Laudya who immediately made Devi turn to him.

"I'm lying" said Laudya next who made Devi sneer in silence.

"Thank God you've been with Raden" Laudya said.

Devi just kept silent while staring at the beauty of the sea with a few seagulls flying over her.

"It should be that if you're with Raden I'm not worried that Alby will turn to you, right?"

Devi silently flinched.

"Alby said he liked me and even he was very worried about my hand. I feel pretty happy about it. Oh yes last night he came to my room and-"

"If aunt Laudya just wants to show off, I go," cut Devi to her feet.

"Sit down first, I haven't finished telling the story," hold Laudya down while patting the side next to her.

"I know you like Alby and honestly I know Alby likes you too."

Devi stop. He turned his back to look at Laudya who was now smiling gently at him. This is not the usual Laudya. Laudya this time looked softer and kept her words.

Is aunt Laudya going to give up?

"If you think I'm going to give up then you're wrong" Laudya said, immediately breaking Devi's assumption.

"Sit down I want to tell you something" Laudya said.

Devi sat back in her place with a reluctant look at Laudya.

"You don't wonder why Alby's dating me when he likes you?" laudya asked but Devi remained reluctant to look at her.

"Didn't Aunt Laudya ask me to come here to tell me that?" reply Devi.

Laudya smiled briefly before the look on her face became serious.

"It's because of yourself" said Laudya who made Devi flinch.

"When you were in Singapore Alby came to see my father. He said he wanted to move departments and become a perceptor for Raden and Fitra. Of course my father refused until a sentence came out of Alby's mouth that made my father finally agree to his wishes. Alby said if my dad agreed to move departments, he would date me in other words Alby would be my husband willingly."

Devi was speechless listening to Laudya finish the story.

"But the more Alby came here and started forgetting his deal with my father and instead putting yourself first. Alby even brazenly started to like you, didn't that already violate the deal he made with his own mouth? Hearing that my father was angry and he threatened to close the hospital owned by Abhimanyu if Alby dared to leave me and choose you," laudya continued, which made Devi look towards Laudya with a surprised look.

"Think what would happen if my father closed the hospital owned by om Abi. Where else can patients in this village seek treatment while the only hospital standing in this village only belongs to om Abi. That's why Abi was so mad at Alby when you went to town to testify to the police."

Devi remembered that time!

So this is the reason Abi looks angry when he finishes talking to Alby first. But why did Alby move departments and what does Aunt Laudya mean by saying all this because of me?

"Alby moved the department because he wanted to protect you from Raden who wanted to kill you."

"He thought by being a perceptor for Raden he could easily control Raden's activities and monitor him if one day Raden intended to harm you, but in reality Alby instead dug his own hole. He's stuck with his deal with my dad. I don't understand why Alby risked his own career for a poor girl like you."

Devi's eyes warmed up and began to water. He does not believe in protecting himself, Alby is willing to sacrifice his career. Now not only Alby's career but Abhimanyu's hospital was also affected.

"Can't Laudya's aunt persuade Laudya's aunt's father to cancel the deal?" lirih Devi's.

"If the deal is void then the closure of the om Abi hospital will be done" Laudya replied which made Devi understand. Laudya uses the deal to keep Alby.

"Is it comfortable to marry someone who doesn't love you, aunt?"

"I'm not asking Alby to love me, as long as Alby treats me well I don't care. So now you need to know your limits. Wouldn't it be appropriate to just be Alby's sister? Take it easy I will love you like my sister. Besides, I can persuade you to turn Alby back into a digestive surgeon and the hospital that is owned by Abi will not be closed."

"If I don't want to give up on Alby how?" challenge Devi.

"Do you have no guilt at all? Isn't it enough that you ruined Alby's career, why would you want to destroy the hospital owned by om Abi? How many lives do you think you're gonna sacrifice for your selfishness right now?"

Devi fell silent. Now the attack of fact began to hit his chest making guilt strangle his neck so it felt he was very difficult just to breathe.

"Didn't Raden have no intention of killing you anymore? I looked around and saw that she also liked you so much, why don't you just go with her?"

Devi did not respond, she immediately left Laudya but just a few steps away, she heard Laudya fall and was grimacing in pain.

Devi turned her body and saw the blood coming out from both of Laudya's knees.

"Aunty are you okay?" devi asked with a trembling tone.

"Shouldn't I have asked you? You're all right, right? Why is your face pale? You're a blood phobia?" laudya got up and walked closer to Devi.

His dark memory is back in his head. The shadow of blood and the death of his parents passed around his memory making his stomach feel nauseous instantly.

"Geek!"

Devi immediately closed her mouth trying to hold the liquid that wanted to come out of her mouth. Seeing Laudya walking closer to him makes Devi panic and intend to leave before Laudya knows what happened to her.

"You why?" laudya asked holding onto Devi's shoulder, who was about to get up.

"Le. untie me auntie," Devi's weak pinta with her hands constantly smothering her mouth and the sweat flooding her forehead.

"I'm just worried about you. Why are you scared like this? Is this because of the blood coming out of my knee?" laudya asked while showing his wound to Devi which made the nausea in her stomach even more so.

Regardless of Laudya's question, Devi immediately brushed Laudya's hand from her shoulder and rose to her feet leaving Laudya in haste.

Laudya stared at Devi's departure with a smile clearly imprinted on her lips before she finally reached into her phone from her jacket pocket and contacted someone.

"You're right, Devi's trauma hasn't healed at all. We used his weakness to kill him" Laudya said, turning off his phone.

Alby who was then intending to catch up with Laudya and Devi also saw Devi who was running in a hurry to the toilet. Alby felt something strange about Devi's state that looked pale and was smothering her mouth.

Without a second thought Alby immediately ran after Devi to make sure Devi was okay.

"Devs! Devi are you okay?" alby shouted entering the ladies' bathroom just like that. Luckily the toilet was quiet so Alby was not accused of being a perverted man who entered the women's bathroom carelessly.

Devi just silently flinched. He sat on a bathroom closet while holding nausea in his stomach. He didn't want Alby to know the bad things were going on.

"Devs! Open door! You why? Did Laudya do anything to you? Out Dev!!" alby shouted while banging on the bathroom door occupied by Devi.

"Dev if you don't open the door, I'll break it!"

Chequek!

The open door shows Devi looking straight at Alby.

"Om Alby is so noisy! What's Alby doing here? This is a girls bathroom. Quickly exit before-"

Alby immediately held onto Devi's shoulders and stared intensely at Devi, making Devi unable to continue her words anymore.

Alby observed Devi's facial features that looked a little paler with sweat still remaining on her forehead.

"You why? Did Laudya do something to you?" ask Alby to worry.

"Don't worry about me. Om Alby should be worried about aunt Laudya," replied Devi who made Alby frown incomprehensibly.

"Why Laudya?"

"Isn't Aunt Laudya Alby's boyfriend? Aunt Laudya is hurting right now, I can't help her because I'm afraid to see blood. It's better if Alby goes to see Aunt Laudya."

After saying that, Devi immediately left Alby alone.

But just a few steps, Devi's hand was immediately blocked by Alby and Alby immediately turned Devi's body to face him.

"Trauma your past appeared as soon as you saw the blood?" ask Alby.

"Stop worrying about me. Now the one who's hurt isn't me but Aunt Laudya, her boyfriend is Alby."

"Now what do you feel? Nausea? Or are you scared?" alby ignored Devi's words.

"Om Alby, don't do this! If Alby is like this how can I forget about Alby? Didn't Alby say I had better be with Raden's brother?" devi asked with both teary eyes.

Alby's speechless. Devi's right, she can't be like this. He must make clear the relationship between Laudya and Devi. Laudya was his girlfriend and Devi was just his sister, but isn't it natural for a sister to worry about her sister like this?

"Aren't you supposed to worry about your sister?" The question finally came out of Alby's mouth.

Devi smiled wryly hearing that. Laudya was right, indeed their relationship should only be limited to sister brother only no more. That made Devi aware, releasing Alby for Laudya was the best path she could take. He cannot be selfish. He has ruined Alby's career and he does not want to destroy Abhimanyu's hospital. Devi now felt like she was taking hundreds of lives on her shoulders if she had chosen the wrong move.

"May, but Alby's got to check on Aunt Laudya right away. I'm okay om. I have to get back before Raden's brother worries about me."

After saying that, Devi immediately came out of the bathroom leaving Alby.

"Dev, where have you been? Me, Arin and Raden's brother are looking for you everywhere" asked Gara in panic as soon as he found Devi coming out of the bathroom.

"How can we cancel the plan, I don't want to be with Alby," Devi's cries flew into Gara's arms, which surprised Gara.

Without Devi noticing, Alby heard her words from behind the bathroom.

"So you brought Raden here because you wanted to test me?" lirih Alby.
