Meeting at the Cafe

"Dev wakes up" whispered Alby right in Devi's ear.

Devi simply replied to him with her trousers and instead hugged her doll tightly.

Alby who saw it was just smothered in the chest while smiling thinly.

Because there was no sign of Devi waking up from her sleep, Alby turned on the lights so as to make Devi move uncomfortable while continuing to try to cover the light that entered into her eyes using her Totonya doll.

"Dev let's get up" Alby said as he approached Devi's ear.

"Ten more minutes om," Devi bargained without even opening her eyes.

"can't. Today is the first day of the national exam, if you sleep again later can be late," Alby refused subtly.

"Five minutes," Devi bargained again to make Alby shake his head at Devi's words.

"can't. Let's get up quickly, I've ordered breakfast and prepared your school uniform" said Alby softly.

"Of."

"Hm?"

"Why did Alby put me this soft?" devi asked with a big smile towards Alby.

"Why indeed? You don't want to? Wanna be roused? Want to flush the water?" ask Alby while tickling Devi.

"No! Stop om! Amused!!" peekik Devi laughed loudly while trying to stop Alby's tickle.

"Well, I'll wake up."

Alby stopped his action. He helps Devi wake up. Alby tidied up Devi's messy hair before he finally put his hands on both sides of Devi's cheeks.

"Even if you're in school, you should be careful. We must not let our guard down until Ganendra is really punished with bui for as long as possible. And you also have to remember, the person who caused your accident is still roaming around freely out there, so after the exam is over go straight out and meet me. Understood?"

Devi looked a little surprised to hear Alby's words. Did he ever tell Alby if the perpetrators of the murder of his parents were not just one person? And did he also tell you that he had met Bima at the police station? It doesn't seem like it, but how does Alby know?

"What's wrong?" alby asked so Devi just kept quiet with a blank eye.

"Ah no. What did Alby say?"

"Iya-iya om I heard. I was just kidding," Devi said with a laugh but Alby did not change his expression and still looked at Devi seriously.

"Om don't be angry, I'm just kidding" Devi said as she looked at Alby's face.

"You met Bima at the police station, right?"

Devi was not surprised. It seemed that Abhimanyu was the one who told Alby about it so Devi had no other choice but to admit it.

"Yes." Yeah."

"Why not tell me?!"

"Sorry," said Devi.

Alby who saw the look of Devi's face that looked sad was not until the heart to scold Devi again. As a result the thing he did was bring Devi into his arms.

"You must be very scared" Alby said, kissing Devi's head.

"Yes, but fortunately there is Abi. Om Abi just threw him out."

"I'm sorry, I should have accompanied you" Alby said.

"Right, I should have Alby with me. Then Alby must be punished," said Devi trying to melt the atmosphere that made Alby let go of his embrace and looked at Devi with question marks.

"Punished?"

"Hm. Alby had to buy me ice cream for a whole month without losing a single day" Devi replied.

Alby seemed to think before he finally agreed to Devi's punishment.

"Alright, agreed. Then you should also be punished for not telling me if you met Bima."

"What punishment?"

"The penalty is that you can't get hurt in the least. I don't want to see you the same way that Ganendra attacked you. You have to stay like this, stay healthy without any blemishes. Promise me you'll always be fine without injury so I can finish my sentence happily. If you get hurt one thing at a time, I guarantee you'll lose your ice cream forever."

"Om Alby, don't be. I don't want to give up my ice cream" whined Devi. But Devi admitted, he was very touched by the words of Alby.

Not yet Alby reply to Devi's words, Devi had already shouted a scene once he realized he had been chatting with Alby for quite a long time.

After driving Devi to school, Alby chose to wait for Devi at a cafe opposite Devi's school. Alby just doesn't want to be cheated like he used to be when Ganendra managed to hurt Devi.

After an hour of waiting there was a message on his phone.

Ting!

Alby reached into his cell phone, he saw a message coming in from Laudya who invited him to meet. Although Alby is lazy, in the end he still obeyed Laudya's desire to meet and of course in the cafe where he is now.

On the other hand Laudya smiled triumphantly once Alby agreed to his request. Actually Laudya already knew where Alby was and the request to meet him was only the initial stage of Laudya's plan to keep Alby away from Devi while Bima did her job.

Laudya has also asked Jessica to take Devi to the school's backyard. At first Jessica refuses Laudya's request but in the end Jessica approves it even though she doesn't know why her brother asked her to take Devi to the school's backyard.

After a while of waiting, Alby finally saw the nose of Laudya who was now walking towards him.

"Have you waited long?" laudya asked as she sat on the chair opposite Alby.

"Lumayan," replied Alby briefly. Though Laudya knew Alby was not waiting for him but was already in the cafe to monitor Devi.

Laudya smiled faintly at Alby's short answer to her. Apparently the more here Alby's treatment of him gets colder and seems indifferent. That is what makes Laudya more confident in his decision to cooperate with Bima.

"What's wrong? Why are you asking me to meet?" alby asked directly which made Laudya smile wryly.

"Let me order something first By," Laudya said with a sweet smile. He immediately called one of the waiters to order food.

"I ordered one vegetable salad, one less sugar latte."

The waiter immediately resigned to prepare Laudya's order.

Now the two are just silent with Alby who continues to look towards Devi's school. Laudya knows where Alby's view is but she is silent.

"By," call Laudya.

"Hm?"

"May I ask?"

"Say."

"Why has your attitude toward me changed?" laudya asked who made Alby escape his gaze towards Laudya.

"I changed how? Don't I stay the same as before?" confused Alby.

"No. You've changed. A few weeks ago you were still treating me as well as I am your partner but somehow lately I feel like you've changed. You were colder to me, even yesterday you left me alone in the village and preferred to take Devi to the city" Laudya said.

Alby sighed softly while looking at Laudya deeply.

"Laudya you certainly know the reason why I dated you. I dated you because I was stupid to make a deal with your father. To be honest, I regret that" Alby decided to tell Laudya the truth about how she felt.

"So you're saying you want to tell me if our relationship is just a deal?" ask Laudya offended.

"I'm sorry but that's the fact. I treated you well to be your partner because I thought I would get used to it and start falling in love with you, but I was wrong. I can't fall in love"

"You love Devi. Right?" cut Laudya.

"Right," Alby replied without hesitation.

Laudya fell silent and threw away her gaze from Alby.

"Then why didn't you end your relationship with me?"

"If I do, will you accept it?" ask Alby.

"No," Laudya replied quickly.

"Then you know the answer" replied Alby, leaning back against the couch.

Both of Laudya's eyes glazed over Alby's words. Laudya did not expect that Alby's words would be this sharp on her. The initial intention he only wanted to divert Alby from Devi but he instead got a wound like this. Now Laudya is increasingly convinced that eliminating Devi is the only way.

"I'm that bad and why won't you let me go?" ask Alby. "Laudya listen to me. If you keep pushing to be with me, you will suffer. You also definitely do not want to be forced into a relationship with someone you do not love, right? I am the same. I want to let you go but I'm in on that deal and you need to know why I want to let you go. I don't want you to suffer because of me any further. You deserve to be happy and have people who love you" Alby continued.

"Can't you try to love me?" ask Laudya.

"No," Alby replied directly.

"Then you're ready for your father's hospital to be closed?"

"Unfortunately I am not Devi who will be affected by your threat" Alby said sharply.

Laudya was shocked. Alby know where he's threatening Devi from? Did Devi tell him?

"Hospital closure is not as easy as reversing the palm of the hand. You think as long as I'm dating you I don't do anything?" ask Alby while sharing his smirk.

"My father's hospital has lost touch with your father's. His possession has been transferred into the hands of my father completely, now your father has no power over my father's hospital anymore" Alby continued, smiling triumphantly.

Laudya did not stop thinking if Alby turned out to be this slick person. Now he has nothing left to threaten Alby into staying with him.

Laudya's jaw hardened with anger, her eyes staring at Alby.

"Why do you hate me so much?" hiss Laudya.

"I didn't hate you at first, but since you've started to play around with people around me then don't blame me if I'm being mean to you" Alby replied sharply.

"What do you mean?"

"You deliberately threatened your father to keep you with me, didn't you? You threaten your father if your father doesn't do it then you'll expose your father's affair. The one who cheated on me was your father but you tricked me into saying it was your mother. You also killed your own birth mother because you were tired of being restrained. I don't really care about it because it's your family's business but once you drag down my father's hospital, I can't stay quiet" Alby told Sharp.

Laudya who heard this was his own reaction. How does Alby know this fact? Who told him? Wasn't it just him and his father who knew this fact? Is it possible that her father told Alby, but isn't that impossible?

"Well I'm sorry for involving your father. I promise I'll fix everything. I won't touch your family again By, please give me a chance" Laudya cried.

"slowly. I've overcome it all" replied Alby coldly.

Laudya sighed softly before she finally looked at Alby with a smile rising on her lips.

In Alby's mind he wondered what was with the change in the look of Laudya's face but Alby still maintained his flat face.

"Then you also know if I met Bima the other day right?" ask Laudya relax.

Alby was silent as he stared at Laudya. Waiting for Laudya to finish her words.

"We're working together to get rid of Devi forever" Laudya continued.

Alby was still shaking.

"Looking at your reaction seems right. You do know that," Laudya said with a small laugh.

"If you touch Devi then you'll die in my hands" Alby snapped.

"Why threaten me, baby. It wasn't me who did it, but Bima. I'm only in charge of distracting you from Devi's manga I'm asking to meet you here" Laudya said.

Alby was surprised not to play once he realized he had been fooled by Laudya!

"Damn it!!!" alby Ogat.

Alby runs straight to Devi's school to make sure Devi is okay.

Laudya looked at Alby's back, now away from her face with sadness. Laudya realizes that even if she removes Devi from the world, she will still not be able to have Alby completely. Sure was! Alby will hate him especially after he knew that he was working with Bima, Laudya sure his hatred must be up to the toilet to his heart.

"Even though I obliterated two people's lives, still I did not get what I asked for" Laudya said with a wry smile.

"Please, brother of the order," said the waiter who had just arrived and presented Laudya's order on the table.

Without saying a word, Laudya left only a few pieces of hardened money on the table. Afterwards he walked out of the cafe before finally a black suv car stopped in front of him.
