Doctor Alby Pujaan Hati

Doctor Alby Pujaan Hati
Fragile

Devi gazes at the operating room where Alby struggles between life and death. Devi still clearly remembers how Bima shot twice on Alby's legs and chest, even when Raden shot Bima also still firmly attached to his memory.

Devi lowered her head deeply while looking at her hands which were still stained with Alby's blood. Devi rubbed it slowly but Alby's dried blood made it very difficult to clean.

Devi sighed softly. There was only himself in the operating room waiting room. Raka either went where, maybe he had to give information to the police or even participate in the operation Alby. Devi doesn't pay much attention to Raka when the doctor Alby's age saves her. All he knows is that Raka comes to his rescue and Alby is with the police only after that they split up with Raka who was riding an ambulance with Alby while Devi was in Alby's car driven by one of the police.

Devi was silent for quite a while. There was no special expression that he displayed even his tears had dried up crying over everything that happened.

Long silent, Devi finally decided to go to the bathroom to clean Alby's blood stains on her hands.

Once he finished washing his hands, Devi also intended to return. At that moment he saw Abhimanyu hugging Ishwari who was crying bitterly. Devi knows Ishwari must be very worried about Alby's situation.

Devi undoes her intention to return to the operation waiting room, she decides to go to the rooftop to calm down for a moment. In addition, Devi also did not dare to meet the two parents Alby directly.

As soon as he arrived at the rooftop, Devi walked slowly towards the rooftop fence. Devi stared at the setting sun and displayed the twilight in the afternoon.

A cold wind started to blow and pierced his skin. His dirty uniform mixes with mud as he faints and is taken to the old building but Devi doesn't care about his messy appearance.

Devi sighed softly. He did not believe in one day he managed to make a huge mess. Wait up! Where did this chaos come from?

The test!

Her tears that had dried up had now started to flow back down her cheeks.

Wasn't it his father's fault from the beginning? Why did his father do such a heinous thing to Raden's mother? Had it not happened Devi was sure everything would be fine and that grudge would not have been created either.

"Why should I bear it when it's dad's fault?!" yelled Devi while crying.

"Hows it? Did you see how I suffered from my past actions?!!" devi continued with her head turned to look at the sky as if her father was watching her from up there.

"The Anggara family wants to kill me and now my friends are hurt! Alby too! Alby is almost dead!! Are you satisfied?!!"

"You guys are so mean to me! Why are you leaving me here alone?! Am I living just to bear the blame of father?!! Mother and sister too! Why would you rather come with me instead of accompanying me here?!" Devi's body slid to the floor. He sobbed as he bent his knees and hid his face between the folds of his arms. "I'm scared" said Devi.

"I'm afraid to be alone. I'm afraid Alby, Arin and Gara left me. I'm also afraid that Abi and Aunt Ishy hate me for causing her son to get hurt, why don't you understand me? Why would you leave a grudge like this to me?" isak Devi spilled all her sadness.

Without Devi noticing, Abhimanyu heard all of his words. Abhimanyu, whose original intention was to search for Devi because he was worried about her, stopped his steps as soon as he heard Devi's frustrated scream. He undoes his intention to meet Devi and chooses to remain silent behind the rooftop door that he deliberately opened a little.

Abhimanyu sighed softly. He knew what Devi was feeling. An eighteen-year-old girl who had repeatedly experienced such a terrible event.

Other than her family and Alby, Devi has no way back. That was why Devi was afraid to meet Abhimanyu and Ishwari. Devi was afraid that the house she was heading to would not open the door for her again.

As Abhimanyu left, he wanted to make room for Devi to calm down.

Drt...

Devi wiped her tears and opened her phone. An unknown number was calling him.

At first Devi ignored him but after that she continued to get another phone until Devi finally answered her call.

"Hello" replied Devi.

Silent!

"Hello!"

Again there is no answer. Devi disconnects her phone and intends to go down to see the development of Alby's operation.

When Devi turned around, Devi was a little surprised so behind her stood a Jessica who was sticking her phone to her ear. Apparently the unknown number who contacted Devi was Jessica.

Devi silently flinched. Devi can see Jessica's tears escaping down her cheeks. Slowly, Jessica walked closer to Devi.

Just when Jessica was three feet away from Devi, Jessica stopped her steps. Jessica stared at Devi's messy appearance with tears in her eyes.

"Ak.I want to talk" said Jessica.

"I'm not in the mood for a fight" Devi replied intending to leave Jessica's presence but her steps stopped as soon as Jessica blocked her arm.

Devi turned her back and she saw Jessica's eyes pleading with her to stay a while to listen to her words.

"Five minutes," said Devi in the end.

"I don't know if my brother did this kidnapping to you. I was just asked to take you to the back yard of the school, the rest I don't know anything about" Jessica explained.

"Jess, do you know what our relationship is like? Do you think I'll believe your words?"

"No. I'm not asking you to trust me. I just came here to apologize to you. I'm really sorry about what happened. I admit we fight a lot and even I consider you my enemy, but believe me I'd rather put a gun in front of you directly than shoot you in the back. I really don't know what the kidnapping plan is until I work with someone named Bima" Jessica explained.

"Why do you hate me? Is it just 'cause I took your toy with Rea's help?"

Jessica remained silent.

"My mom died because my brother killed me and I know how sick it feels to be left behind by someone we care about. Didn't both of your parents also die in an accident? I just don't want you to live in the pain of the dead I'm asking you to die" said Jessica, who surprised Devi.

So aunt Laudya was that terrible?

"You're wrong to understand the pain. The pain you are experiencing is actually a process to your maturity. But to be honest, you hate me not because you care about me, not because you don't want me to feel the pain of being left behind by someone I love but rather as a self-importance. You're just making me an outlet for your pain."

After saying that, Devi immediately walked away leaving Jessica alone.

"And speaking of Bima, she killed both my parents. My parents didn't die in an accident" Devi said.

After saying this, Devi continued her steps.

Jessica was surprised not to play when she heard Devi's words. Now he knew what his brother said the other day. He and Devi are completely different.

Devi peered over the pillars of the hospital. There he sees Alby who has just been taken out of the operating room with Ishwari and Abhimanyu who are behind him following.

Devi is eager to run towards them to see for herself how Alby is doing, but she doesn't have enough guts to do it.

Devi follows them from behind in secret because she wants to know where Alby's ward is.

"Dev," called someone who made Devi squeamish in shock.

"Doctor Raka."

"What are you doing here? I'm looking for you everywhere! Jesus wound! Sorry I was busy saving Alby so I haven't had time to treat your wounds," Raka said regretfully upon seeing Devi's condition that looked messy with blood that had dried on her head.

"I'm doing fine. I have to go," said Devi intending to leave in front of Raka.

"No. You have to come with me, "prevent Raka while blocking Devi's arm.

"Please let go" Devi sighed with her two teary eyes.

Knowing Devi's condition, Raka let go of her check and looked at Devi gently.

"We treat your wounds first."

"My wound is healed" Devi replied which made Raka press the wound on Devi's head.

Argh!!!

"Cured huh? If she's healed, it shouldn't hurt when I press her. Come on, you also have to change clothes," said Raka clasping Devi's hand to follow him but Devi remained silent.

Raka sighed softly while looking at Devi gently.

"After this I promise to take you to see Alby. You don't want Alby to worry about you being like this, do you?"

"I just want to see it from afar" said Devi.

"Why? You don't want to see it up close?"

"I'm scared. There's aunt Ishy and om Abi, I'm afraid of getting scolded," Devi said.

Raka smiled gently. He already knew about it because Abhimanyu told him and asked him to take care of Devi while Abhimanyu looked after Alby and calmed his wife who kept crying.

"I have an idea" said Raka who made Devi look up at Raka.

"I'll take you to see Alby in secret when Abi and Aunt Ishwari come home. How's it?"

"They're home? I think they'll sleep here with Alby doc."

"No," Raka replied, smiling with her thumb on her side, silently lifting towards Abhimanyu, who had been observing them. "Tonight they'll be home so you can take care of Alby. How's it?"

"Alright, I want to" said Devi at the end with a sparkling face.

"I've brought you clothes and toiletries. You take a shower and change your clothes in Alby's room. When you're done, just call me, I'll wait outside" explained Raka leading Devi to Alby's room.

"After your wound is over, I'll see Alby."
