Doctor Alby Pujaan Hati

Doctor Alby Pujaan Hati
The Test of Abhimanyu

"Slow Sep! Do not let us be caught," said Devi while walking quietly in front of Asep.

Both of them are trying to get out of the house without being discovered. Early in the morning Devi accidentally woke Asep who was now living in the pavilion of Abhimanyu's house and asked him to accompany her to go to the forked road that he asked Alby last night. Even Devi had to expend extra energy to break away from Alby's embrace without waking him up because if Alby woke up, Devi could make sure his plan would fail miserably.

"Where are we going?" ask Asep scared.

"We get out of the house first, I'll explain" Devi replied.

After as much as possible not making a sound and walking around unnoticed, they finally managed to get out of the house.

"Come Sep!" Devi pulls Asep's hand.

"Wait for a non! Where are we going?" asep asked to stop Devi's steps.

"Walk!" replied the origin Devi while continuing to pull Asep's hand.

"Non Devi didn't take me to the city anymore, did she? I don't want to be fired den Alby non."

"Who would want to escape to the city wearing only pajamas like this. I just want to go to the forked road that's at the end of the road there Sep. You know, right?"

"Well why are we going there so early in the morning like this? What if there is a ghost? There is an abandoned old building, you know, must be a lot of demons," Asep refused to panic.

"There's no ghost. In this day and age humans are creepier than ghosts so you take it easy and don't be fussy or we'll get caught before we get to our destination," said Devi who made Asep immediately silenced and inevitably obey Devi.

"Destination? Where are you going early in the morning?"

The deg! That voice!!

Devi immediately turned her body and she was very surprised to find Alby was standing behind her while cross-chested.

"Om Alby.. om Alby, what's here?" ask Devi clumsy.

"Where are you guys going?" ask Alby to Asep.

"Anu den ehm...."

Devi immediately beckoned Asep not to say where they were going but it seemed that Asep did not understand the cue Devi was intending.

"Where is Sep?" reset Alby.

"Anu den, non Devi took me to the street-"

"Om's streets! Yes streets. I deliberately asked Asep to accompany me for a morning walk, "cut Devi before Asep told me the truth.

"Eh? Not that non Devi asked for company"

"Horse horse! Yes Sep, at first I wanted to ask you to accompany me on a horse but not so because I changed my mind and wanted to go for a walk," cut Devi again.

"Sep-"

"Sep quickly back to your room, I'm not going for a walk. There's back!"

Devi immediately asks Asep to return to her room before Alby asks her all sorts of questions.

"Let's go back to the room. It's still morning, I'm cold" Devi asked as she pulled Alby's hand to get inside the house.

"Why so rushed? Don't you want to take a walk?" ask Alby.

"No, that's. It's still dark outside, I'm afraid of meeting a ghost" Devi replied without taking her hand off Alby and continuing to pull Alby's hand into the house.

"So which real reason are you not going to be on those streets? Scared of ghosts, cold, still dark or because you want to ride a horse? Or do you really want to go somewhere without my knowledge?" lure Alby, who makes Devi immediately release Alby's hand and run into his room and lock the door to his room.

He's busted!

Seeing Devi running away from him seemed to be his last sentence which became Devi's goal to invite Asep secretly to leave on the grounds of sightseeing.

This could not be allowed, he had to see Asep immediately. Alby rushed to Asep's room.

"Den Alby, what's up here?" confused Asep who was about to open the door of his room and see the arrival of Alby with a worried look.

"Don't say anything to Devi if there's ever been an accident near the forked road at the end of that road and you should remember, don't let Devi get close to that building by a centimeter," alby is full of emphasis.

"Why Den?"

"Just follow my words Sep and don't ask any further questions about it" replied Alby before he left before Asep.

"Good morning aunt Ishy and om Abi," Devi said cheerfully as she sat near Alby.

"Dear dear," replied Ishwari.

"Morning is also Dev" replied Abhimanyu.

"You didn't greet me?" alby asked while cross-chested looking at Devi.

Just as Devi was about to open her mouth to answer Alby's question, Alby had already silenced Devi with his words.

"Oh of course not, this morning we have met," said Alby who made Devi flutter himself.

"Ten...of course we met, didn't we sleep together?" reply Devi clumsy. Don't let Alby say in front of his parents if they met outside the house this morning.

"Yes, but after that you locked me outside. As soon as you say you want to take care of me until I get well" Alby sneered.

"Sorry om, I forgot that Alby also wanted to sleep in my room" Devi replied in self-defense.

"You're sleeping together again?" abhimanyu asked to stop the small debate of the two.

"Yes, but we didn't do anything. Really am! Om Alby said he couldn't sleep without hugging me, so I let him sleep with me. Besides, I promised I'd take care of Alby until I got well," Devi replied quickly.

In contrast to Devi who looked panicked, Alby even with his leisure began to spoon rice to his plate.

"I'm sorry, but we really don't do anything other than sleep. Om Abi doesn't believe me?" great-grandson Devi.

"Om trust you but om don't trust this one wolf" Abhimanyu pointed at Alby.

"Why am I dad? What can I do with Devi? Even though I'm a grown man, I know exactly which limits should not be broken on a little girl" Alby protested.

"I'm a big boy!" devi's protest doesn't accept being called a little girl by Alby.

"Alright, big girl. I can't possibly do anything to a big girl" Alby said as he looked at Devi. "How's it?" alby.

"Om Alby is right" Devi replied as she held up her thumb.

"Dev after this where do you want to go?" asked Abhimanyu ignoring Alby's answer.

Devi turned her head towards Alby who also seemed to want to know the answer.

"Maybe I will try to go to an Indonesian university and major in business, om" said Devi hesitated.

"Maybe? Don't tell me you still have doubts about your choice?" abhimanyu asked which made Devi even more nervous.

Abhimanyu didn't usually ask until like this. Moreover, Abhimanyu who usually said softly and attentively now became firm and impressed demanding. Rather than a father asking his daughter, Abhimanyu instead looks like he is selecting his daughter-in-law. Wait up! A daughter-in-law?

"I'm not sure yet. With my grades like that makes me pessimistic to be accepted at UI," replied Devi honestly.

"Darling don't ruin the mood in the morning. Don't you also know that Alby can't mess with Devi? Why are you suddenly asking like that?" ishwari mediates.

"Why indeed? What's wrong with my question? I am a father of course I have to position myself as Devi's father too. What if something unwanted happens to Devi? As a father of course I'm worried about that. No father would want his little daughter to be hurt or abused" Abhimanyu replied in self-defense.

"Well, I'm so offended by my father's last words. How can you call your own biological son a pervert?" Alby stared in disbelief at Abhimanyu.

"If you don't do anything of the sort already. There is no need to protest like that" replied Abhimanyu.

"I've considered Devi as my own biological daughter even I love her so much that I worry about her" continued Abhimanyu who made Devi's eyes tear up because she was moved and felt sad at the same time.

Devi is moved because Abhimanyu loves her and worries about her like her own daughter. On the other hand Devi is also sad because Devi does not want to be a daughter of Abhimanyu Pradana but rather a daughter-in-law and wife of Alby Vishnu Pradana.

"Well, I feel like a banished son" Alby joked. He knows what his father means. Her father just doesn't want her little daughter to be hurt by anyone regardless of Alby though. But that is not possible because even though Alby is sometimes anxious for Devi, Alby only dares to kiss her no more. Such a time is called harassment?

"Since Devi can you have thrown away," replied Abhimanyu to counterbalance Alby's joke.

Ishwari who initially thought this debate would heat up also let out a sigh of relief because this ended in joking with each other.

"But yesterday when Alby was critical he was crying all night next to Alby's gurney" she said.

"Not me, but your mother. Just ask him," said Abhimanyu.

"Where is! I did cry but not as bad as you," Ishwari replied.

Afterwards the three laughed together while Devi just smiled wryly looking at him. Does he have no hope of becoming the daughter-in-law of the Pradana family?

Abhimanyu looked silent for a while before he finally looked towards Devi with his gentle gaze.

"I'm sorry if I offended you. There is absolutely no intention of you."

"It's okay, om. I even feel happy that Abi loves me so much like Abi's own daughter" Devi replied quickly.

"You don't want to be my adopted daughter, do you?" abhimanyu asked outside of Devi's prediction.

"What does Abi mean. Of course I want to! I want to be Alby's adoptive sister," Devi's errata that makes Alby look at Devi sharply.

"Thank God, I'm so happy to hear that. Tomorrow I will take care of the family card to get you into our family," Abhimanyu said with a big smile.

Unlike Abhimanyu, Alby immediately raised her protest gaze at Devi. Why would Devi agree to it??

"I refuse!" push Alby blatantly.

"Whatever, I don't care what you think because the important thing is that Devi wants to" Abhimanyu indifferently.

"That's because Devi is afraid of you Dad! Can't you see we love each other? Why would you want to make us brothers instead of husband and wife?"

"If Devi loves you she won't want to be my adopted daughter, but look at the truth! Devi wants to be my daughter it's a sign that Devi doesn't love you" replied Abhimanyu who made Alby clench her hands tightly holding back her emotions.

"Follow me, you have to explain to me!" alby orders coldly as he rises from his seat leaving the dining table in a fit of rage.

"Om aunt Devi excuse me first," said Devi quickly following Alby.

As soon as Alby and Devi left, Ishwari immediately looked at her husband sharply across the chest.

"Look at the mess you've made!! Can't you hold back your words? Don't you know that Alby loves Devi? Why did you instead make Devi your adopted daughter instead of making her your son-in-law?!!" angry with Ishwari until he stood up.

"Calm down, baby" persuaded Abhimanyu to try to calm his wife to return to her seat.

"How can I calm down?!! Look what you're doing!!"

"I knew. I also bless their relationship and I also want Devi to be my daughter-in-law instead of my daughter. Don't be angry, sit down and I'll explain to you" Abhimanyu said.

Ishwari returned to his seat.

"It's not that I don't approve of their relationship that I don't even bother about them sleeping together because of course I trust my son who can't possibly break the line prematurely. I'm just testing their relationship. I want to know how they're going to solve this problem. They are two people with very different personalities and ages. If they get married of course there will be unexpected problems that can be even more than this. I wonder how Alby faced Devi and Devi who understood Alby's desire to be frank with such a far-reaching difference that made me a little worried. You see Devi agreed to be my daughter while Alby refused. Let's wait for their decision. If they stick together after the hardships I've made, I promise I'll bless them."

"What if in the end Alby agrees to Devi being our daughter?" ask Ishwari.

"That means they are not meant to be together and are only destined to be brothers. It is better to prevent the unwanted now before it is too late. Imagine if they get married and get into big trouble until the divorce ends. In addition to losing a daughter-in-law, we will also lose our daughter instead I tried to test them before they stepped into a more serious level" Abhimanyu said.

"If they can overcome this problem you have to promise to bless them!"

"Of course, honey. I-i promise. I just love them so much and don't want to lose one of them anyway I'm forced to do this."
