Dusk Substitute

Dusk Substitute
Ahmad Dzaky Raditya

"Good night, sorry for the long wait!" greet the middle-aged man. Nissa immediately stood up, walking back a few steps. When Nissa saw the man stretch out his hand.

Nissa was surprised, seeing a man come to see her. Adult males who are about thirty-five or older. A handsome adult male with a very fashionable appearance. A man capable of captivating women. Even though he is no longer young. But his appearance showed perfect good looks and stability.

"Sorry!" said Nissa, cupping both hands right in front of the chest.

"Hmmm, no problem!" sahut the man.

The two sat face to face, silent in the silence of the night. Nissa glanced at Amira who was sitting not far from her. Amira goes with Nissa. Amira does not want Nissa to meet her future husband. A man who never appreciated Nissa, even before they met.

"Raditya, call me Radit!" said the man, Nissa looked up.

"Why are you surprised? You don't know me!" radit said, Nissa nodded without hesitation. Radit smiled cynically, laughing at Nissa's innocent demeanor. A confession that clearly shows the distance between the two of them. A couple who don't know each other.

"Aren't you the one who doesn't want to know me!"

"You're right, I want that. But it seems my judgment was wrong. You are no ordinary woman. You are a strong woman ready to fight nature. Yet strangely subjugated to this stupid marriage!" radit said firmly and cynically. Nissa was silent, Radit's scathing insinuation as if it was on her. The stupid attitude Nissa took to return the favor.

"Nissa, isn't that your name!" radit said, Nissa nodded slowly.

"Sorry before, you called me. Certainly not without reason. We've been sitting here for almost fifteen minutes. But since then you have been going around in circles. Your family is now in my house. In two days, you will marry me. If you really want to know something. Better say it now, no need to convolve!"

"I like your assertiveness and I hope it's in your honesty!"

"I'll make sure of that!" sahut Nissa was firm and straightforward.

"Tell me why you accepted this marriage!"

"But to return!" nissa Sahat.

"That's all, you're sure!" radit said, Nissa nodded without hesitation.

"You realize who I am? I'm not single, I'm a widower with one child!" radit said, Nissa nodded.

"Then!" sahut Radit, as if need an explanation.

"From the beginning my father asked me to marry you. There was no objection at all, during this marriage it could get the family apart from the twists of debt!" nissa said, Radit smiled faintly.

"Even put a storm on me for the rest of your life!"

"I'll make up for every penny my family owes you. But one thing you should know. This marriage may be in return, but for me it is sacred and sacred. It's up to you to think of this as a stupid marriage. Yet I will regard you as my husband born and bathed!"

"You're kidding!"

"I've never joked in life!" nissa said straightforwardly, Radit laughed out loud.

"Nissa, you're too sure. You don't know me, I'm not an easy person to deal with!"

"You don't know me either!" nissa said, Radit was silent.

"All right, let's end this debate. I just want to hear your honesty. We'll meet at the aisle. You pawn your life and I'm ready to make up for yours. Let's see, which one of us lost? I give up on you or you walk away!"

"One more thing, you don't mind our age difference. You were a kid yesterday afternoon, obviously our ages are different!"

"People's age doesn't indicate a person's maturity. You don't know me yet, you don't deserve to judge me!" sahut Nissa was cynical, then stood up leaving Radit.

"Nurul Choirunnissa Ghinyah, the girl of the twilight pursuers. The jolly girl who had already fought several mountains. Just for the sake of his obsession chasing the most beautiful twilight. A radiant woman full of love, the meaning behind the name embedded in your life. Honorary teacher who fought the steep road of the village. To teach his students. A sister who gave up on her brother. Married to Ahmad Dzaky Raditya. A widower with a son. A child with special needs!" said Radit, exactly a few steps Nissa away.

Nissa turned her head, there was a sense of wonder when she heard a different voice. Nissa was shocked, when there was another figure beside Radit. A younger and more charming figure. A man who knows when and where it came from? Nissa really can't believe it. Especially when he saw Radit who met him bowing. It was as if the young man was more powerful.

"Young master!"

"How's Nissa doing?"

"You who?" nissa said confusedly, Radit extended his hand. Nissa cupped both her hands together.

"I'm sorry, I forgot that you don't want to touch something that's not true!"

"The better I go home, the night it gets!" nissa said, Radit held Nissa's hand. As Nissa's body freezes, Radit's warm hands freeze Nissa's body. The first touch felt by Nissa.

"Ahmad Dzaky Raditya, I'm your future husband. He's my personal assistant!"

"You're testing me on purpose!" nissa said annoyed, Radit nodded with a smile.

"Obviously I have to test you, there's no way I'm living with people!" radit said arrogantly. Nissa stared intently at Radit, there was a sense of annoyance. Nissa could only shut up. No words can be said. Nissa is not struggling, Radit's charm completely diverts Nissa's world. Nissa was amazed, but a few minutes later. Nissa recalled Radit's rude attitude towards her.

"Nissa, we're going home now!" shouted Amira, breaking Nissa's daydream.

"He'll come home with me!" radit said, Nissa shook her head.

"Never!" nissa said, Radit chuckled at Nissa's answer.

"We are getting married two days later. It doesn't matter if we honeymoon first!" whispered Radit mischievously, Nissa shuddered in horror.

"I'm not the cheap woman you can buy!"

"You're the woman your family pawned to pay off my debt!"

"I'm a debt-relieving woman, but not a full-fledged woman. Please have me, but after you say ijab qobul. This marriage is just a game for you. But to me this is a holy and eternal marriage!"

"We'll see!"

"I'm sorry, assalammualaikum!" pamit Nissa is polite. Nissa walked over to Amira. Radit looked at Nissa's back, a gaze full of question marks. Looking to the future with a woman he has never known. But he began to pique his soul.

"Make sure he gets home safely. Prepare my wedding well. I'm out of town tonight. I'll be back an hour before the wedding!"

"Okay young master!" sahut Firman, Radit's assistant.

"Remember, she's my future wife. Debt-redeeming woman, twilight-chasing girl I'll make as a substitute for twilight in my house. I'll make sure he pays the debt of his entire family!" radit said firmly and cynically.
