CHAPTRE 60. NOT IN VAIN

"And that means I'll finish the job today. The fate of a secretary..." His complaint. Today he has a lot of work and now he has to add to Anders' work.

"Uncle Jeff said what?" Anders asked Emily after her daughter put her phone back in its place.

"Don't say anything, Daddy. Just thank you." Answer Emily. Anders nodded his head. Jeff certainly wouldn't have protested if he hadn't picked up the phone, fortunately Emily was there.

Clamps, the door to the room is open. Ellia approached the two.

"Emily, Daddy has to take a break now. So we better get out of here." Bring along.

"But Emily still wants to be with Daddy, Mama." Pinta Emily with her unreasonable gaze.

"Ellia, let Emily here. Emily doesn't bother me anyway." Anders spoke up.

"Do you remember what Doctor Meitha said?" Ask Ellia to him.

"Emily will accompany you until Daddy sleeps, how? Emily promised not to bother Daddy." Emily pleaded with her hazel eyes. Ellia looked at the father and son in turn. The two are hard to separate when they are together.

"Alright, but Emily can't bother Daddy. Let Daddy rest, get well soon." Eventually Ellia gave up. Emily smiled broadly.

"Good, Mama. Come on Daddy lay down, Emily will accompany you until Daddy sleeps." He said, pushing slowly Anders' body to lie back, Emily then pulled the blanket until it covered Anders' chest.

Cup.

One kiss landed on Anders' forehead making him smile knot. Emily's treatment of him is really sweet.

"Mama, let's kiss Daddy. Let Daddy get some sleep." His request while pulling Ellia's hand. While Anders immediately closed his eyes, he did not care whether Ellia wanted to kiss him or not. Biting him even though it doesn't seem like a problem. Suddenly though...

Cup.

One warm kiss landed back on his forehead, Anders reflexively opened his eyes.

"Rest." Ellia half whispered. The woman then went out of the room.

"Daddy, let's close his eyes." Emily's words resuscitated Anders, the man had frozen when he realized Ellia had kissed him on the forehead.

"Eh, yes, dear. Daddy's sleeping." Anders closed his eyes again.

Ellia stepped down the stairs, and stopped at the last two steps. He sits there.

"Daddy, Mommy, don't leave me. Alice.... Alice forgive Brother. It's all wrong, brother..."

Anders' rapprochement last night was still ringing in Ellia's ear.

"What really happened to the Anders? I'm really curious. Anders always called Alice. What the hell happened to him? Where is he now?"

Various questions about the Anders family filled Ellia's head. Ellia also did not know who to ask to get the answer.

A smile restrained on Anders' lips, when his wife fed him again.

"Actually Ellia's a good woman, I'm the stupid one who ruined it."

"How's Daddy, does it taste good?" Asked Emily who was also in the room to watch her Mom and Daddy.

"Very good, baby. Thanks for cooking for Daddy." He replied, pinching Emily's nose slowly, the little girl laughed.

"Mama cooked it, Daddy. Emily just looked at it." Emily replied innocently. And it made Anders hold back his smile, fortunately Ellia was not aware of it.

"Did Emily eat?" Ask later.

"Already, Daddy. Emily and Mama ate first." Answer Emily.
