Junmyeon received a call at twelve o'clock nineteen. I can't sleep, Juhyun said. Junmyeon said he would come, but Juhyun replied that it might be better for him to come. Junmyeon had a lot of considerations he had in mind in a few seconds, but perhaps there Juhyun understood Junmyeon better than himself.

“Continue the lyrics. Will be finished when I come, ‘kan?”

Junmyeon remembers telling him about the lyrics he wrote for an upcoming project. He considered again. Juhyun was equal, of his age, as brave as he was. They were born within the same year, perhaps that was one of the reasons Junmyeon could understand Juhyun so easily.

Juhyun came by bicycle. Junmyeon was surprised because he himself did not have— and it was impossible to wake one of his friends just for something like this.

“Groomed.” Juhyun laughed a little. “I can, just relax.”

Junmyeon's hand was on Juhyun's shoulder during the trip away from the dorm. He stood at the back, amazed at the ease with which Juhyun paddled his bike. The shoulder was very warm, in contrast to the wind that kept Junmyeon awake (he was not sure he could sleep for the rest of the night). Juhyun sang, occasionally not the song Junmyeon was familiar with.

Juhyun finally stopped by the river. Flickering city lights turn on the night, a life that stays awake as people leave the world for a while. Formerly people enjoyed the stars, flickering bashfully in the distance. Now it may be different, but there's still the same thing. The stars are coming down to earth now, living in a different way.

Junmyeon asked to come down, pointing his phone at the river and what was living opposite him. Juhyun swirled around him, singing louder than ever before.

The man dropped his phone for a moment. Juhyun doesn't care much. Junmyeon pointed at his phone again.

(On Juhyun this time. Can night fairies sing, shine, and be beautiful at the same time? Junmyeon night fairy can. Night fairies set in artificial stars.)

Junmyeon, far to the south, was either in what building, what floor, sending him a picture of the sky and the sparkling city below without any other words. Sometimes the man speaks so much without words. Juhyun sees it like a message of longing, but there may be something deeper than that: this is how I see the world. The city was lit up, the star dots were not in the sky but the city lights were shining on it, and the moon he saw was shaped like this.

Juhyun was in the middle of a quiet city. In the colors of the lamp, far north of Junmyeon. The moon was different, and it was inside those artificial stars. Junmyeon, outside of it. Above all that light.

The woman replied with what she could see in front of her. A skyscraper, befriending other buildings that are only half its height, is so alive in the darkness of the sky. The moon became faintly nearby.

must be nice looking from up there, huh, jumnyeon-ah?

Junmyeon is apparently still awake.

you're in the middle of the light, the light of a beautiful city. As I've seen from up here.It must be nice to be in the light, hm?

Juhyun chuckled, trying to play around with the words as he was delighted that someone had kept him awake.

not really, when the other light is not here.

(The only thing keeping Junmyeon quiet is—they still see the same month.)
