Wendy looked at the dog, who looked confused by the side of the road. Wendy turned to Chanyeol, turned her head, and Chanyeol looked around. Figuring out what made Wendy suddenly stop and give him that look.

Chanyeol was still confused when Wendy finally shook her head and took the sandwich from the man's hand.

“Yes! Seungwan-ah!” Chanyeol half-screamed, extending his hand to his poor sandwich, but Wendy did not care much. Only after seeing what Wendy did to the sandwich did Chanyeol not protest.

Wendy crouched down on the side of the road, holding out a small piece of bread she had torn to the little black dog. Chanyeol could barely see him in the middle of the night like this.

“I don't know if this is good for you. But eat first, huh? I don't want you to starve.”

Chanyeol was a little envious because Wendy was talking so softly to a dog instead. But seeing the dog with his innocent eyes and greedy he ate, Chanyeol was speechless. Instead, he crouched down next to Wendy and stroked the dog's head.

“I'll replace this bread, oppa. Just relax.” Wendy then grinned, which made Chanyeol completely forget about her pity. “There are still stores open 24 hours around here, ‘kan?”

“Not really okay,” murmured Chanyeol.

“Aw, you're very kind, oppa.” Wendy chuckled and then briefly rested her head on Chanyeol—'s shoulder, but it was so short that Chanyeol only realized it after everything happened.

“No,” refute Chanyeol, look at him without Wendy knowing, “goodyou.”

—My evening, he said, only in my heart unfortunately.

Jongin only said he wanted to return the jacket he had borrowed from Seulgi when they were both training in the building that day, but Seulgi did not say clearly where he was.

I was not in dorm, he said. Half of her doesn't expect Kai to continue; or find her. Sometimes he needs time alone, Irene even knows if he does not want to be disturbed.

But it seems easy for Kai. As Seulgi was singing a favorite song from childhood, the door to the roof of the building opened without him knowing. He only realized it when Kai stood beside himself sitting on a long bench, Kai's hands in his pocket. Seulgi removed his headset, frowning. “Who told you I was here?”

Kai crouched down on the chair after Seulgi shifted and gave him permission by raising his chin towards his empty space. They both looked up, then Seulgi let out a long breath.

“The stars are already less than the ones back then.”

Kai nodded. “Ya.” Then he looked at Seulgi. “When we were still together friends practicing, yes?”

“Ah, those good times, sunbae,” says Seulgi half tease.

Kai punched his arm. “Already. Forget it.”

Seulgi still wanted to tell me how awkward he would be if he was on stage with Kai if he compared his circumstances to their time training together. When they have to be senior-junior with a level of politeness that is certainly much different, even though he is used to doing things for a pair of peers on Kai, of course it makes him less comfortable. But Kai definitely didn't want him to have a problem right now.

“Stars continue to decrease.”

“Sometimes we have to go out of town.” Seulgi removed his other headset.

“Yuk.”

He realized Kai was looking at him. “Ah, forget it,” he said wagging his hand in the air. “When I have free time, you are busy. Finished your promotion, surely I will be busy.”

“There will always be time, for sure. Who knows?” Kai shrugged his shoulders. “Let's set.”

“Appointments, yes?” Seulgi raised his little finger. Suddenly he felt like another pair of trainees full of hope and optimism. “Place with many stars.”

Kai happily hooked his pinky. “I heard in South America, we can see many stars in a certain place.”
