"Lea, come in."
Lea who had just finished with her work, was startled by Rangga's presence. The man stood in front of the boutique with an already neat appearance.
"The ladder?"
Rangga invited Lea to get into his car. Without asking much, Lea immediately entered and sat in the front seat, precisely next to the driver's seat. After Lea sat there, Rangga soon followed and was ready to drive the car.
"I told your driver that I would pick you up" Rangga said as he watched Lea prepare to call his driver.
"Oh, thank goodness. Where are we going, Rangga?"
"I want to take you to the park. There's something important, that I want to talk about."
Lea was silent for a moment while thinking. "What do you want to talk about? Is this about this morning?"
Rangga did not answer. He just kept quiet with a focused look ahead.
"If this is about this morning, I'm sorry, Rangga. I'm really sorry for not being able to comply with all your wishes. You know for yourself, I'm—"
Not finished Lea said those words, suddenly Rangga interrupted her words.
"Had promised your late mother that you wouldn't do it before marriage. Yes, I know that," interrupted Rangga with a lazy face.
Lea smiled wryly and she looked completely wrong.
"Oh yes, Rangga. I wanted to ask you about this bracelet," Lea said, trying to shift the subject. He showed the bracelet that was still coiled on his wrist to Rangga.
Rangga glanced for a moment. "What's with the bracelet? Don't you like it?"
Lea shook her head quickly. "No, it's not, Rangga! Look, didn't you tell me this morning that this bracelet is special. It's designed specifically for me, but why would Amanda have it? Just like mine," said Lea.
Rangga scratched his head that was not itchy. "Ehm, that's impossible. It was unlikely that he would have the same bracelet. Except ...." Rangga seemed to think.
"Except what?" ask Lea full of search.
"Well, I will ask the person who designed this bracelet and ask for an explanation from him" replied Rangga.
Lea took a deep breath and then exhaled back slowly. Now he chooses silence. So did Rangga. He also did not want to continue the conversation.
Along the way to the city park, both Rangga and Lea only silent a thousand languages with the content of their minds. Until finally the car driven by Rangga arrived at the intended place. The city park, where many young people gather there to spend their time with their spouses.
"Come," asked Rangga after finishing parking his favorite car.
Lea immediately got out of the car and followed Rangga who walked a few steps in front of him. Trudgingly, Lea tried to align her steps with the man. However, because Rangga stepped too fast, Lea became difficult to follow him.
"Ehmm, Ranges. Can you slow your pace? I had trouble following you" said Lea.
Rangga looked back, where Lea was still trying to catch up. He breathed heavily and then turned back around.
"What's the matter, Rangga? Are you ashamed to come to this place with me?" lea asked as she tried to normalize her gasping breath.
"No. Why should I be ashamed? Didn't I bring you here myself?" kilah Rangga's.
"Alright, Lea. Don't think strangely. Look, everyone is starting to notice us and I'm sure they must be thinking nothing of us" said Rangga, pointing to people who were watching both of them.
"Sorry," said Lea.
"We'd better sit there." Rangga walked up to a chair not far from their position and sat there. Lea immediately followed and then sat beside Rangga.
"Huf! I'm thinking about Amanda." Leah opened their conversation.
"Amanda's? What's wrong with Amanda?" ask Rangga.
"Eitherway. He fell unconscious this morning."
"Fall fainted? Wh why? Trus, how is he now? Is she okay?" asked Rangga with an anxious face.
Lea glanced at Rangga who was sitting next to her with squinting eyes. He wondered why Rangga was so enthusiastic every time they discussed anything about Amanda.
"I don't know why he. He may be tired from continuing to work. Especially when I was in the hospital, she took over all my work."
"Hhh, you are this. As a boutique owner, you should be in charge of your men. Then how is he now?" asked Rangga, still with an anxious face.
"I haven't heard anything from him. I had a chat and tried to call her number, but unfortunately she did not respond at all" Lea replied.
"Ck!" Rangga clucked and made Lea even more confused.
"What's the matter, Rangga? Kok, it seems like you are really upset with me" Lea chirped.
"Who's upset? I'm just surprised, you are as a boss not responsible as his men. Wonderful," said Rangga while turning his face.
"Who said I wasn't responsible? I tried to offer help, but he refused because he said he was still capable of it himself. What can I do with my condition like this, huh?" irritated Lea with teary eyes.
"Already! I don't want to argue anymore. Now tell me, what exactly do you want to talk about?" lea continued firmly.
Rangga breathed a heavy sigh. "I want to talk about our marriage, Lea." The tone of Rangga's voice that had been rising, was now starting to normal.
Lea furrowed both of her brows. "Our wedding? What's the matter, Rangga? Don't tell me you want to cancel our wedding, yeah!" sahut Lea with an anxious face. His heart suddenly thumped, as if feeling a bad feeling about his marriage to the man.
Rangga shook his head slowly. "Actually not, but .. father and mother want us to postpone the wedding day that we have planned before" said Rangga.
"What?!" lea chuckled so irritatedly. "Delayed again?"
"Patience, Lea. What is important is that our marriage will continue. Just postponed," persuaded Rangga.
"Just postponed? It's so nice of you to say that, Rangga! I have to rearrange everything. Invitations, catering, etc. Do you think this wedding is just a joke?"
"It's not like that, Lea. The father and mother were forced to decide because there was a family from the father who held the wedding day of his son on the same day. It can't be if we do it together? After negotiating with the father's family, finally the father and mother were forced to relinquish and again postpone our wedding" said Rangga.
"Can't they give up on us? Why should we give up on them?" Lea began to shed tears. He was so upset over the unilateral decision made by the Rangga family, without thinking about how he was.
"Excuse us, Lea," said Rangga.
