Ting! A message notification goes to Rangga's phone. The man grabbed his phone and read the text message.

"I think I should go right now, Lea. He said the mother's illness had recurred" said Rangga in the midst of Lea's turmoil.

"Mother's sick? I'll come with you" Lea replied as she wiped her tears.

"No need, Lea. You'd better go home and rest, "reject Rangga.

"But I want to see mom, Rangga. After all, it has been a long time since you have invited me to meet them" Lea said.

"Other times, yeah! I promise I'll take you to meet them, but not now." Rangga looks panicked. She kissed Leah on the top of her head and prepared to leave.

"I go first and about our wedding day, we can talk about it later. I promise!" After saying that, Rangga also ran to leave Lea who was still sitting in the park alone.

After calling the driver, Lea prepared to go home. It didn't take long, the driver arrived and helped Lea into the car.

"So I wanted to pick up Non Lea, but Mas Rangga forbade. He said let him pick up Non Lea" said the driver.

"Yes, he picked me up after the boutique" Lea replied.

On the way, Lea suddenly saw a car parked on the side of the road. Lea recognized the luxury car.

"Isn't that .... Sir, stop!" tell the driver.

The driver stopped the car and helped Lea out.

"Wait a minute, sir. I want to see my lawyer first."

"Good, Non."

Lea left her car and approached the luxury car.

"Sir Andi! Come out, I want to talk!" lea said while knocking on the door of the luxury car.

Not long after, a man in a black suit got out of the car. He scratched his head that did not itch then approached Lea who was putting on an annoyed look. The middle-aged man tried to smile, but Lea seemed reluctant to return his smile.

"Lea, how are you?" greet the middle-aged man, trying to make small talk.

"My news is bad, Mr. Andi!" sahut Lea with a bent face. "Where has Mr Andi been all this time? I've called your number and sent you messages hundreds of times, but you didn't respond. Even my number, you just block it!"

"Attent, Lea. I can explain, but we should talk somewhere else" said Mr. Andi.

"All right then. We're talking at the cafe on the other end."

The middle-aged man agreed and went back into his car, as did Lea. A few minutes later, they arrived at the cafe they were heading to. Lea entered the cafe and was followed by Mr. Andi.

It turned out that the middle-aged man was not alone. He was with a beautiful woman of Lea's age in the luxury car. A mistress who became the third person in the life of the man works as a lawyer.

"Sir Andi, why are you blocking my number? What exactly is my fault?" annoy Lea without further ado.

"Ehm, I'm sorry about that. But trust me, it's not me blocking your number. Maybe it's my wife's job" the man replied.

"No way!" Lea snorted in annoyance. The answer thrown by Mr. Andi really did not make sense to him.

"How is my case now?" continued Lea.

Mr. Andi took a deep breath and then exhaled again. "Lea, I'm so sorry about the same you. Your case has been closed and the police have not stopped the investigation since a week ago" said the middle-aged man with a sad face.

Lea's eyes instantly fumbled. He was shocked to hear the words of his lawyer. "What! Case closed? Wh-but why?" lea asked stammeringly.

"Because there were no eyewitnesses at the time of the incident and they could not find a bright spot who did it" replied Mr. Andi.

"lik! There was an eyewitness who witnessed the incident. A man! He even tried to help us at that time. After all, there is CCTV on the road, why do they not use CCTV? And another one, the license plate number! What's the 914 plate number in this town, huh?!" annoyed Lea with hunting breath.

"It's not that easy, Lea. They tried everything they could and the CCTV that was on the street, the CCTV was broken and they didn't find any footage there" the lawyer replied.

Lea shook her head. "Who hit us? Is he the son of a top official in this country until you can cover up this case. How much are you getting paid by him, huh?!" lea said with a sigh. All this time he suspected that his case was deliberately covered up by them.

"That's not true at all, Lea. Better forget the case and just let everything go" said Mr. Andi. Mr. Andi grabbed a piece of paper and handed it to Lea.

"This is your money and at the same time my apology for not being able to help you disclose the case. I'll give it all back in one piece."

Lea smiled cynically. "I don't need that money! Just take it back! All I want is justice! Justice for my brother's life he took!"

Mr. Andi glanced at the fancy watch that was coiled around his wrist and then got up.

"I still have important business, Lea. Take this and use it for your needs" said Mr. Andi.

The middle-aged man grabbed the hand of the beautiful woman who had been silent beside him since. They walked away from Leah in that place.

"Sir Andi, where are you going? We're not done talking! Is it not important to you that my brother's life is not important at all?!" scream Lea with teary eyes.

Lea noticed a piece of paper lying on the table. A check contains some money. Lea grabbed the paper then looked at it with a sad face.

"Why are you so evil, Mr. Andi! It was as if my sister's life was nothing. Hopefully what happened to us won't happen to you" Lea said with trembling lips.

With a shaky step, Lea headed for the parking lot, where the driver was waiting for her in the car. He decided to continue his journey.

"How, Non?" ask the Driver.

"It turns out the case is closed, sir. But I'm not just gonna give up. I will continue to seek justice for us. For my brother's life to be lost because of that irresponsible man. My life will never be quiet before the man is severely punished" Lea said.
