"Please think again, Gail. You seriously want to take me out to dinner?" lea asked, trying to convince.
"Yes, of course I'm serious. Why do you ask like that?" ask Gail back.
"I'm just afraid you're making fun of someone else, Gail, for taking me to dinner with you. If you're willing, we can have dinner here only. I assure you, you will definitely not regret that Bi Enah's cooking is so delicious."
"Why are you talking like that, Lea. No one will make fun of us, trust me. And as for your offer, maybe we can have dinner here the next night" Gail said steadily.
Lea breathed heavily. "Well, if you're sure that."
Gail extended her hand before Lea, hoping that Lea would join her. "Come, Miss Azalea."
Lea chuckled softly then grabbed Gail's outstretched hand before her. "Be careful, a lot of eyes will look at you with a strange look, Gail."
Gail chuckled again. "I don't care, it's up to them to think anything of me" he replied confidently.
Gail opened the door of the two-man sports car and invited Lea inside. Before entering the luxury car, Lea was silent while watching the four-wheeled object carefully. Lepes
"other?" Lea smiled obliquely.
"Yes, why? Car's ugly?" ask Gail back.
Leah shook her head slowly. "No, the car's cool. I'm sure you must be so rich that you can change luxury cars in 24 hours."
Gail chuckles. "I'm not as rich as you think, Leah. Actually I have a used car showroom, so I am free to change cars," he replied in a lie.
"Hmmm, the important thing is not to change the pair," Lea chuckled as she entered and sat in the seat near the steering wheel.
"Of course not, Lea." Gail smiled and closed the door. He then caught up with Lea and sat in the steering wheel.
"Are you ready?" asked Gail while glancing at Lea who was still cool to pay attention to the luxury of the sports car.
"Yes, but don't hurry because I'm still traumatized by the fateful incident."
Gail paused for a moment while looking fixedly at Lea. "Well, I promise not to hurry."
Gail drove her fancy car down a highway, into a restaurant she had ordered earlier.
On travel.
While they were still chatting lightly in the car, suddenly Lea lowered her head much deeper. His hands seemed to crush each other and cold sweat poured out from his temples.
Gail was puzzled when she saw Lea's reaction. He immediately stopped his car on the side of the road and then touched Lea's shoulder slowly.
"Why are you, Lea? Did my words just offend you?" ask Gail.
"Go on, Gail! Please," Lea said softly, without daring to raise her head.
Gail looks around the place and there is nothing strange there, until Gail realizes that the place is where the accident happened. The road that became a silent witness to the events that befell Leah and her sister.
Without a second thought, Gail immediately drove her car at a fairly high speed until she made it through the road. Gail gently touched Lea's shoulder as she said.
"Lea, open your eyes. We've gone through it" said Gail, trying to calm Lea who was still closing her eyes with a paled face.
Slowly Lea opened her eyes and then looked around. He exhaled heavily after realizing that they had made it through the path.
"Yes, we can find another way later" Gail replied and managed to make Lea a little calmer.
"I'm sorry, Lea. I don't remember if the place was—" Gail hadn't finished saying, Lea interrupted her words.
"It's okay, Gail. It's not your fault. Somehow every time I went down that road, those bad memories seemed to come back to my head very clearly and I couldn't bear to see them" Lea said.
Gail's face turned back moody. The guilt re-established his soul. "I'm sorry, Lea." Gail said in her heart.
Not long after, they finally arrived in front of a famous restaurant, where they would enjoy their dinner there.
Gail extended her hand before Lea and was immediately greeted by the woman. They walked into the restaurant hand in hand. Gail led Leah even to a room she had ordered before.
"What do you think of this place?" asked Gail while sitting Lea in an empty chair that had been prepared by the restaurant, then Gail immediately followed and sat right in front of him.
"That's great. Honestly, I've never set foot in a place like this, Gail. It's nothing, I just love the money." Lea laughed softly as she looked around the room. Where there was no one there, there were only the two of them.
"But why are there only two of us? Uh, don't tell me that you did book this special place for our dinner tonight, did you?" lea continued with round eyes staring at Gail.
Gail chuckles. "Yes, once in a while."
"But sorry, Gail. This is my tongue, the tongue of the lower middle class. I'd much rather enjoy the food on the side of the road. Seriously," Lea said in a whisper so that the waiter at the place did not hear what he said.
"Alright, next time we'll explore your favorite culinary," replied Gail.
"Hhhh, aren't you ashamed?" Lea poked her lips.
"Why should I be ashamed? I'm the same as you" replied Gail who managed to make Lea speechless with a deathly look at her.
Right at that moment, several servants came to their table carrying various dishes. Lea was silent again made after seeing the number of menus ordered by Gail.
They arranged neatly onto the table. After everything was done, they immediately returned and left the couple.
"Eat whatever you like, Leah. Do not hesitate because I ordered it specifically for you," said Gail with a warm smile staring at Lea.
"A lot. Who's gonna spend it, Gail?" ask Lea while choosing the food menu that she will eat tonight.
"If it doesn't run out, we can wrap it up."
"Yes, you're right too. I can bring it to share with Bi Enah and Mr Rahman." Lea chuckled softly then immediately started her dinner.
After a while later.
"Lea, why stop? Come on, add more!" gail said as Lea finished her dinner.
"That's enough, Gail. I'm full," refused Lea.
Gail immediately finished her dinner and immediately called the waiters to clean up all the food from the table. In just a few minutes, the table was clean as before.
"Lea, there's something I want to talk to you about and it's very important" Gail said as she grabbed Lea's hand outstretched on the table and clasped it tightly. Lea pulled back her hand. However, Gail had locked her movements and was forced to let Gail hold her.
"Speak what, Gail? Just tell me," Lea replied looking awfully wrong.
"Lea, I'm actually ...."
