Meanwhile.

Tok .. tok .. tok!

"Mr Gail."

There was the sound of the butler calling out Gail's name while knocking on the door of the main room.

"Yes?" sahut Gail from inside his room, while tidying up the shirt he was wearing.

"Outside there is Miss Helena and she wants to meet you" said the middle-aged man.

Gail stopped her action with her eyebrows clinging to each other. "Aunt Helena? Um, okay. Ask him to wait in the main room."

"Good, Sir."

Just now that the middle-aged man turned around and intended to leave the room, suddenly the woman named Helena came and approached the main room door.

"Where is he?" ask her with a flat face.

"Inside, Madam," said the butler, bowing respectfully.

"Now go!" The woman wagged her hand before the butler, asking the middle-aged man to leave immediately.

"Okay, Madam."

After the butler left, Lady Helena immediately entered the main room without asking permission from the room owner. The arrival of Mrs Helena in her room, had made Gail surprised.

"Aunty?" Gail smiled wryly to see Madame Helena enter and walked over to Gail who was still standing in front of the mirror.

"Gail, Auntie wants to talk to you" said the woman with a flat face.

"Ehm, okay." Gail invited her late father's sister to sit on the sofa in front of the king-size bed.

After Lady Helena sat there, Gail immediately dropped herself beside her aunt.

"What's up, Auntie?" gail asked as she stared fixedly at the woman.

Madam Helena snorted then straightened her head. "Cancel this marriage, Gail!" her firmness with a sharp gaze returned Gail's gaze.

Gail gave a small laugh while linking her eyebrows together. "Tante must be kidding, right?"

"I'm not kidding, Gail! Sean told me that your bride is flawed! Are you crazy, Gail? Is there not a woman in this world until you choose a disabled woman to marry?" said the woman with an annoyed face.

Gail rubbed her face violently. He felt annoyed to Sean who had told that to Aunt Helena. Yes, although sooner or later, his entire extended family will know that his wife is a disabled woman. However, at least Gail could still arrange for them to know about it after the wedding.

"I'm sorry, Auntie. I can't" said Gail, who then took a deep breath.

Gail stares at her aunt with a cynical look. "had him? What does Auntie think she is? A lifeless and heartless thing? After all, he was disabled by an accident, Auntie. Not because of a congenital defect from birth," growled Gail with a flushed face.

The woman shook her head while snorting in annoyance. He could not believe that his beloved nephew had dared to refute his words.

"Look, Gail! You even dared to argue with Aunt just for the sake of defending that disabled girl. Do you know, if your late mommy and daddy were still alive, I'm sure they would have done the same with me."

Gail doesn't want to chim in. However, deep down in his heart, he was still very, very upset by the words thrown by his aunt.

"Look at you, Gail! You have a handsome face, perfect body shape, have abundant wealth. However, unfortunately having to marry a disabled woman! If your choice was only a poor woman, maybe I could still accept it. But these? Hmm, it really doesn't make any sense."

Gail grabbed Madam Helena's hand then clasped it tightly. "I beg you, Auntie. Just this time! Please, don't interfere. Let me make my decision. Let me marry the woman of my choice. Yes, although I know, she is not the woman of your dreams," Gail said softly.

"Gail—"

"That's enough, Auntie. I don't want to change my bride-to-be. Better focus on Sean's life. Look for a dream daughter-in-law who fits the criteria of the ideal daughter-in-law of Auntie," interrupted Gail who managed to make Mrs Helena not warty.

"Hhh, it's up to you! But remember, Gail! Don't ever complain to me if one day you regret this choice," madame Helena with a bent face looked at Gail.

Gail smiled then let go of her hand. "I'll never regret it, Auntie. Believe me," said Gail steadily.

Gail got up from her position and then took the suit that had been lying on her soft mattress.

"I'm sorry, Auntie. I gotta go. I'm already late. I'm sure my bride-to-be has been waiting since," he said as he put the suit into his body.

Madam Helena snorted in annoyance. He got up from his seat and walked to the door.

"I waited for the moment where you came to me and said that you regretted choosing that disabled woman, Gail!" ms. Helena said before she grabbed the doorknob and opened the door.

Gail could only smile without wanting to reply to the words of her aunt. The woman who is the biological mother of Sean– her cousin. After Mrs Helena left the room, Gail immediately followed and walked quickly to the front yard.

Before he set foot in the front yard of the house, Gail had seen Sean who was cool relaxing in a lounge chair while playing his cellphone. Gail who was feeling a little annoyed at her cousin, immediately approached.

"Heh, fuck you!" Gail patted Sean's shoulder hard enough that the phone Sean was holding almost dropped to the ground.

Sean flinched in shock then looked at Gail fixedly. "What's up, Gail?" tanyanya.

"So your mommy came to me and talked about Lea. Your mommy wants me to cancel this wedding, Sean! This is all because of you, you son of a bitch," grumbled Gail while bending her face.

Instead of feeling guilty, Sean laughed at Abigail's speech. "I'm just saying that your bride-to-be wears fake legs. That's all! I didn't even tell you anything about your secret" Sean said.

"Be careful if you dare to tell me that, Sean! I'll make sure you don't breathe any more" Gail annoyed and moved her legs back, leaving Sean sitting there.

"Ok, you take it easy, Gail! Your secret will always be safe with me" Sean half-screamed because Gail was far away from him.

Gail pointed her finger at Sean while putting on an annoyed face. He got into the car and left his luxurious residence.
