"I'm wrong, Martha. Forget it," said Sean who looks awry.
"If I force it, I'm sure Sean will hide it from me even more. I should be able to seduce Sean to be honest and tell the secret behind Gail's real marriage to me" Martha murmured inwardly.
"Come on, Sean." Martha grabbed Sean's hand and held it tight."
"Honestly, I don't care about him anymore. I've realized that love can't be forced, Sean. Now I've managed to move on from him and I'm happy living my life now. However, I was just curious, actually what made Gail choose to marry Lea. By Lea ...." Martha started fishing.
Sean glanced at Martha's hand which was now playing wildly on the back of her hand. The woman continued to smile spoiled, as if teasing herself.
"Seriously, you don't care about Gail?" asked Sean who was still doubting the confession of the beautiful woman.
"It's up to you not to believe because the only ones who know about my feelings are me and God" he replied trying to convince.
Sean fell silent again with a still sharp look fixed on Martha.
"So, you still don't want to tell me that, Sean?" ask Martha again.
Sean kept quiet and it really pissed Martha off. However, he did not want Sean to know how he really felt.
"Ehm, yes if you don't want to tell me. I don't want to force you anyway." Martha glanced at the expensive watch that was on her wrist.
"It looks like I should go home. Thanks for the time, Sean."
Martha got up from her seat and prepared to leave. However, Sean suddenly grabbed his hand and held off Martha's steps.
"Sit down, I'll tell you everything."
Martha's happy not to be a bitch. It was not in vain that he played a show because Sean was too easy to get into his trap.
Martha sat back in her place while looking at Sean fixedly. Martha really can't wait for the story behind the lavish wedding.
Sean breathed heavily. "I hope you won't tell anyone this, Martha. I hope this will only be our secret" Sean said, before he told Martha all the secrets.
Martha nodded her head quickly. "Yes! I promise not to tell this secret to anyone" said Martha.
"Gail told me once that he married Lea not because he loved that woman ...."
Sean tells Martha all of Gail's secrets. Starting from the accident that occurred on that night until finally Gail decided to marry Lea without foundation of love.
Martha was so shocked after hearing the true story behind the marriage. It turned out that his conjecture towards Gail had been completely untrue. Gail had never cheated on her or played with fire behind her.
"Gail should have told me all this so that I wouldn't be so bad to him. By telling them everything, who knew this matter could be resolved without having to marry the disabled woman," Martha muttered with a sad face.
"But it's too late, Martha. After all Abigail was already happy with her choice. Especially coupled with the presence of their children," said Sean.
"Yes, you're right, Sean."
Sean breathed heavily.
"Please promise, Martha, that you will not tell anyone this secret. Because Gail would kill me if I wanted to tell this secret to someone else" Sean said, trying to remind Martha.
Martha smiled. "You take it easy, Sean. I will never tell this great secret to anyone. And it's true what you said, now that Gail and Lea are happy, and that's all the more important."
"I think I should go home, Sean. Thank you very much for your time" said Martha with a teasing smile.
"Remember my message, Martha. Never tell this secret to anyone." Sean reminded me again.
Martha smiled. "You can keep my promise, Sean."
Martha handed her little finger in front of Sean and was immediately replied by the man.
"I keep your promise, Martha."
Martha left immediately, leaving Sean still pensive in the cafe. He felt very sorry for telling Martha the biggest secret about Gail.
"Ah, hope that Martha can keep her mouth shut as much as possible," Sean murmured as he rubbed his face violently.
Meanwhile on the way.
Martha was silent in her car thinking about Sean's story.
"Gail, why didn't you ever be honest with me about the accident. If you had been honest, we might have become a married couple by now" muttered Martha with a sad face.
A few days later.
Gail still rejoices in welcoming Lea's pregnancy. Gail even held a thanksgiving event at her company to welcome the future generation of his successors.
All employees also rejoiced to welcome the ceremony, including Rangga, who is one of the employees at the large company.
"Actually why did Mr Abigail hold this Thanksgiving? Are we going to launch a new product?" ask Rangga to one of his coworkers.
"Loh, you don't know yet, do you? Mr. Abigail held this thanksgiving event to welcome the pregnancy of his wife. Soon our big boss will be a father, just like you" replied the man, laughing softly.
Rangga was shocked. He could not believe that Leah was now pregnant with the child of his big boss. Containing the prospective heir to all of Mr. Abigail Sebastian's wealth, including the large company that is currently the place to stand.
"So, is Mr Abigail's wife pregnant?" ask Rangga again.
"Yes, why? Do you recognize that woman?" ask the man suddenly.
Rangga shook his head slowly. "No, I don't know him" replied Rangga.
Just when all the employees were busy enjoying the event, Rangga suddenly got a call from Amanda's number. Rangga rushed to receive the call and it turned out that the one who was talking to him was the mother.
"Rangga, hurry home! Amanda suddenly had a great contraction and now we're on our way to the hospital" Fika said in a panic.
"What's? Wh-well! I'll be there soon" replied Rangga.
Rangga rushed to find his superior. After finding the man, he immediately asked for permission to go home.
Luckily, his boss was willing to give permission for him and Rangga soon followed Amanda who is currently still on her way to the largest public hospital in their city.
Rangga drove his car with a panicked face. "What really happened to Amanda? Her pregnancy is just entering its seventh month, but why is she already having contractions?" muttered Rangga who was still focused on his wheel.
