"I beg you, Sir! This is the birth of my first child. I would love to see the process of his birth. Please, allow me to go to the hospital" Gail said softly.

Gail wanted to peek into the room through the glass on the door. Suddenly the door opened and a nurse came out to pick something up.

"Sus, that's my son, right? Can I see it?" gail said with teary eyes looking at the nurse.

The nurse was silent while noticing Gail's disheveled appearance and her face filled with bruises.

"Ehm, you're Miss Azalea's husband?"

"Yes, Sus. My husband. How's she? How's my baby?" asked Gail enthusiastically.

The nurse smiled too. "Miss Azalea and her baby are healthy. You can meet them inside" said the nurse.

"Good, Sus. Thank you," replied Gail who without a second thought, immediately entered the room.

Lea, who was still weakly rolled over the bed postpartum, was suddenly startled by Gail's presence in the room. Not only that, Lea was also confused by the appearance of Gail who looked disheveled and filled with bruises.

"Gail?!" Lea furrowed her brows in wonder.

"Lea-Nova ...." Gail smiled then immediately approached his wife's bed. He grabbed a chair and sat right next to Lea.

"I'm sorry, Lea. Forgive me for not being able to accompany you to fight to give birth to our baby," said Gail then with teary eyes.

"What happened to you, Gail?" lea asked, because the last time he saw the man, he was fine. However, now his face was filled with bruises.

Leah looked into the man's eyes and she saw such a deep sadness. Lea raised her hand then touched the corner of Gail's lips that were turning blue and still spitting out a little fresh blood.

"They beat you?"

Gail smiled wryly and held Lea's hand still on her face. "I don't care, even if they shoot me once. I will keep running to meet you and our children" said Gail.

Not feeling the clear circle was finally escaped from the corner of Lea's eye. Behind his deep hatred, it is undeniable that there is still a sense of love that he always keeps for the man.

Right at that moment, the Nurse who had been talking with Gail, came over and delivered a news that was quite surprising.

"Sir, there's an officer outside and they want to bring you back" the nurse said very carefully.

Gail swallowed her saliva with great difficulty. He did not believe that his meeting with Leah would be that short. He smiled again and put his warm kiss on the back of Leah's hand that was still in his grasp.

"Now it's time for me to go back, Lea. Please wait for me until I finish my sentence. I promise, after that I'll give up the rest of my life just for you guys" he said with trembling lips.

"Grand ...." Leah could not hide her sadness.

Gail got up from her position and put a warm kiss on the top of Leah's head. "I love you, Lea. And it will always be like that until death to pick me up," he said again.

Gail put her little baby back in the baby basket and looked at Lea lying on the bed, wiping her tears.

Gail turned around and immediately stepped out and met the officers who were waiting for her arrival. The officers then took him and returned Gail to the holding cell.
