Falling in Love With the Secretary

Falling in Love With the Secretary
Awkwardly Alone

“Aah, peri...!!!”

Shana suddenly unintentionally screamed because she felt a pain in her wound. Deen stopped his activities and let his secretary rest for a while so that the pain felt subsided first.

“Sorry. Sick, huh…? If I press too strongly just talk, don't shut up” said Deen while staring at Shana.

Seeing the way Deen was looking at him, Shana felt no stranger to the way her boss was looking at her. He seemed to have seen Deen looking at him like that. And not waiting long, Shana recalled when she saw that look.

“You look adorable when you sleep again, Miss Shana.”

“Wait, briefly. Why do I remember that dream again.?” shana's inner voice gasped in shock after remembering that she had seen Deen staring at her like now was when she dreamed of her boss this morning.

Before the meeting between the boss and the secretary began a while ago, Deen who usually always saw Shana had arrived early but instead saw this morning her secretary's seat was empty. It was eight in the morning.

Deen went into his office and after half an hour had passed, he still saw no sign of his secretary's appearance. To make sure he gets out of his office.

And sure enough, he saw that his secretary's desk was still empty.

“Heumm…!!! Miss Shana it seems she's late. What exactly happened, huh..?” muttered Deen while paying attention to his secretary's office space.

“Severe. The symptoms are getting worse and longer it seems. I have to how else, yeah..?”

Deen was wondering more and more in his heart. He recalled the book he had read. From the book that he bought and randomly read explained that a leader/boss/parent, may give attention to people changing their behavior to something that is not good.

To know the root of the problem, he was also encouraged to investigate. And from the results that Deen had noticed so far, Shana had always been there welcoming in the office. And the hours of returning home from work are also erratic because he often overtime.

Deen recalled the time he first met Shana. He felt that his personality with his secretary was the same. Equally focused on work, it turns out Deen was wrong. He's been completely mistaken all along.

Deen only realises that she is different from her secretary, she is a chief director at the company, and Shana is his secretary. The work he had been putting on all this time was probably too heavy and made his secretary's life depressed.

The second discussion Deen read was a superior/dreamer/parent should be able to please his subordinates/children. Don't be stingy about giving compliments. Examples of trivial things, such as saying thank you. It is better to teach than to beat.

And Deen did that. Saying thank you and reminding her secretary well when she mispronounced her name.

After Deen realized where his mistake lay, he finally began to change little by little his overly rigid nature.

While waiting for Shana's arrival, Deen again read the next tips on his phone. It turned out that the book he bought yesterday was already in electronic form so he was easier to read it.

“Now I understand, it turns out this is how. Now it's time to read the next tips. What should I do again” muttered Deen while scrolling through his phone screen.

Greeeeeng…!!!

Try to always communicate and can also invite to eat together.

“What…? Dining together..?”

“Ah, yes. I never asked her to eat together. Likewise with my other employees, Deen's inner” after remembering that he only came to the office and it was time to go home from work. He just got home. Sometimes he goes to visit his grandfather's house.

All this time he was busy with his own world. Never looked around him. Nicholas, his cousin, thinks he's a robot. That's just activity every day. Rich monotonous street toll.

While he was still focused on staring at the screen of his phone, from the corner of his eye he saw his secretary finally appear as well. The one thing he remembers is not to be angry. So the question that pops into his head is…

When their conversation was almost over. Deen planned to invite Shana to eat with him. However, his gaze was fixed on the wound on his secretary's knee.

At first glance, he remembered the shadow when he was a child who often saw his mother get wounds all over the body of the mother while hugging him. Because he who could not see the wound on his secretary's knee, as a result here he tried to treat the injured secretary's leg.

Deen was still focused on cleaning up the wound on his secretary's knee.

“I wanted to take him out to eat together, but I saw his injured leg instead. Later it was thought again” muttered Deen who started pouring liquid medicine on cotton.

“I'll apply medicine. Hold yes, this will definitely hurt” said Deen.

“Iya” Shana reply briefly.

“Aaah, peri. Aduuuh, pain..” Ringis Shana while closing her eyes held the pain on the surface of the skin of her knee.

“It's done” Deen said as she put on plaster to glue the wound bandage on Shana's knee.

“Thank you very much, sir. Father's working hours are disrupted because of my injuries.”

“It's okay. Helping people who are injured is no prohibition.”

“Aaah, hehehe.. Yes, sir. Then I make you coffee first” said Shana who looks awkward in front of Deen who smiles at him.

“Thank you” reply Deen too.

“Oh, yes. By the way..”.

Not done yet Deen spoke, Shana had already run away towards the pantry. Deen could only delay again to invite his secretary to a meal together.

Two weeks after the incident, Shana went to the financial consultancy department. He wanted to set up his financial plan. Because the money he had claimed from the insurance had already been transferred to his account.

And also, if he is not smart to manage his finances, it could be all inheritance, and the insurance money left by his parents will be used up in vain.

“So, may I know what your financial plan goals are like?” ask the consultant to Shana when she comes face to face.

“Destination, Plan..?” reiterate Shana as still unfamiliar with such languages.

“Oh, sorry. I mean, what are you going to do with your money going forward…? For example, maybe you will buy a car, a house, or maybe for wedding preparations.”

Shana herself was still confused as to whether it was money. Indeed, he wants a plan to build a cafe. But judging from his current condition, it seemed like he would twice think again about exiting the company.

“I, I still have no plans.”

Those words ended the conversation he had with the financial consultant. Eventually, Shana comes home with nothing to plan for her own stupidity.

“Shana, you are so stupid. Why are you being like this now, anyway…? Shameful alone” grumbled him in the heart.

“Now have a lot of money, but do not know how to invest it. Don't even know what to buy.”
