The door of the IGD room slowly opened. A doctor in his work clothes came out. Ansel's Attention changed instantly.
"How is it going" asked Ansel directly
"He's fine. He's just exhausted. Next time not too tired it can harm the fetus in the womb" said the doctor and want to step away
"Wait" to prevent Ansel
"What do you mean" asked Ansel
Chen stood up to listen to the two humans' conversation.
"Your wife is pregnant master don't you know. Her gestational age was five months" the doctor said
Ansel was stunned for a moment. Alina's pregnant? Ansel was sure it was his son.
"Alright" the doctor left Ansel and Chen.
"Alina's pregnant?" chen asked with a shoulder hold on Ansel. Ansel looked at Chen. The man seemed confused.
"Alina is pregnant with my son" Ansel said
"meaning? How can it be" asked Chen
Ansel recounts the incident a few months ago between himself and Alina who was accidentally trapped by Jack, Ansel's great enemy.
"Gosh, why don't you tell me" Chen said
"Do I always have to tell you everything" asked Ansel
"Not really"
Ansel opened the door of the IGD space roughly. Alina who turned out to be awake felt surprised by the arrival of Ansel. Looking at Ansel's current expression he knew that Ansel already knew something.
"Ansel" called Alina by looking at Ansel's handsome face
Ansel's jaw hardened his eyes sharpened. His face was flushed with anger.
"Alina" Ansel snapped
"What"
"Why don't you tell me you're pregnant" Ansel asked in a high tone
"Do you intend to hide my son from me" Ansel accused
"Ansel" called Alina in a weakened voice
Ansel bowed his body staring at the beautiful face of Alina intensely. Slowly Ansel's hand rubbed Alina's face gently.
"Since when did you find out" Ansel asked in a softer voice than before. He shouldn't have been flaming like that which was so obviously scary.
"It's only been this week" Alina replied honestly
"Why not tell me? Did you know you were in the hospital at the time?" ansel asked and sat down on Alina's bed facing the woman
"I didn't meet you. And you haven't appeared in front of me in months" Alina said
"Why didn't you tell Chen back then?"
"This is your son, not Chen's. The first person to know is you're not Chen" Alina said. Ansel carved out a thin smile
"I'm sorry" Ansel said
Ansel pulled Alina's head and carried her into his arms. Hugged the tiny body long enough.
"Why do you always refuse when I ask to marry you" Ansel asked
Alina pulled her body and looked at Ansel's stern face. He realized that the man was very handsome.
"If we were married a long time ago, maybe this would not happen. You were pregnant when I hadn't married you" Ansel said
"I'm sorry. I don't want to marry an arrogant person" said Alina honestly
"Did I look that arrogant first" Ansel asked and Alina nodded
Ansel gently rubbed both of Alina's cheeks and pinched them slowly.
"I'll change" Ansel said
"For your sake" continued the man
Jeez is only two words but it feels like Alina is jumping right now. A beautiful smile was etched clearly on Alina's lips
"I wouldn't get married without loving each other" Alina said
"We will love each other as time goes on. Trust me" Ansel said
