For A Husband Who Doesn't Love Me
50. The Seven Months of Kirana

"Abang, Maira please... Don't leave Maira, Bang... Abaaa..."

Hidayat wiped away the sweat that soaked Maira's forehead. His wife looked anxious, and with a tense face. His breathing went up and down irregularly, he shook his head stiffly staring blankly at his front.

"Why, Honey? What's up?" Tanya Hidayat looked so worried about her.

Maira gathered back her consciousness. He slowly turned his head to the side, where Hidayat was writhing his arm anxiously. "A-branch?"

"Yes, this is Brother... Maira's having a nightmare, huh?" Ask Hidayat again so gently. He stroked Maira's hair, and tidied his wife's disheveled son of hair.

Maira nodded weakly. Her tears are melting. He's ashended. "It's more than bad, brother... I don't think Maira would have been able to if this dream had turned into reality..."

"Sst, don't cry... Here's Brother hug..." Bujuk Hidayat brought Maira into his arms. "Maira didn't read the prayer last night before going to bed?"

"Huh?" Maira seemed to be thinking. He wiped his tears with a look of confusion. "It looks like Maira forgot, Bang. because the wrapping of the gifts, Maira immediately barings next to Abang..."

"No, Maira deserves a nightmare..."

"Oh, serem... Tomorrow Maira will try hard not to forget to read the prayer before going to bed..." Maira shuddered.

"What dream is it, baby?" Tanya Hidayat began to look curious about the dream that made his wife scared half to death like that.

"Single anyway... Maira doesn't want to remember anymore..." Maira's masked as she closed her eyes.

"Yes, now we sleep again, yes... It's only one o'clock..." Take Hidayat while lying down Maira's body and then re-capture his wife into his chest.

Hidayat patted Maira's shoulder gently for her to fall back asleep. He was very sure Maira's dream had something to do with those who had not yet had children.

After making sure that Maira had fallen asleep again, then Hidayat rose from his sleep. He pulled the blanket over his wife's neck, then kissed Maira's forehead for so long.

Hidayat deliberately let Maira sleep, while he went to perform the evening prayer. He knew Maira was in the middle of an obstacle.

He was very solemn in his prayer, and after that he prayed for all the wishes of his heart, happiness for his loved ones, especially his wife who wanted the figure of a baby.

"Allah, O Mujib, bounty us the children of the Sholeh and the pious, who obey Your commandments and the Messenger of Allah, who are devoted to his two parents, who are handsome, beautiful, healthy, healthy, wise and hafiz of the Quran, and patient in this waiting, O Allah... Aamiin Allahumma Aamiin..."

Hidayat walked to the bed, watching his wife's face so peacefully in his sleep. He slowly lay behind Maira's body, and hugged her from behind.

After the magrib prayer, Maira and Hidayat left for Arya's house. There their parents are waiting, because Arya wants Hidayat's parents and Maira's parents to go directly to her house if from the village.

"Your life is well established, Yat... Already a lecturer as well, the kiosk branch is quite large, why not buy a car? Pity Maira riding the motor continues..." Arya chirped with a grin.

"I've advised the same Maira, Bang. Maira's the one who doesn't want to... He said it was too wasteful for now, because Maira would rather ride a bike. Especially we're both..." Hidayat replied to Aryan's guyonan.

"Well, May?" Tanya Kirana join nimbrung.

"Yes, Brother... Later if we have children, Maira will also buy a car. Now let's just use the motor... I have two bikes, but rarely wear them. Maira's section is more comfortable with the same motorbike as Hidayat bang, we feel closer..." Maira said with a shy smile.

Arya laughing. "Yes, right..."

"Sir Mai-Mai, Bang Hidayat..." As if chatting, Ayu suddenly came from her room running towards their position.

"Hey, Ayuu... How are you, honey?" Maira squatted down slightly to kiss the little girl's cheek.

"Thank God we are good too, dear... When are you going to the house, hmmm?"

"When are you, Brother Kiran?" Ayu turned to face Kirana.

"Well, how do you ask brother? When do you want to play at Maira's house?" Replied Kirana felt cornered, afraid of being mistaken for limiting her sister.

"Pengen... But Ayu's taking the exam now..." Ayu said in disappointment.

"Oh yes, Ayu exam yes... Hmm, that's okay... Tomorrow when the exam is over, brother Mai-Mai and bang Hidayat will pick up Ayu... We go play together, how about?"

"OK, Sis..."

Event underway. A series of Islamic activities fill the seven monthly Kirana content event. The easy artist couple seemed happy, plus they were surrounded by their loved ones.

"Hey, would you like to caress my stomach?" Pinta Kirana hopes a lot for Maira.

"Can, Brother?" Maira's eyes twinkled at Kirana's request that she really wanted to do, only she felt awkward and afraid that the pregnant woman was uncomfortable because of it.

Kirana nodded with a smile.

Maira with trembling hands felt Kirana's distended stomach. Suddenly her eyes turned red and teary. "May be a Sholeh, healthy, handsome boy, son..."

"Aamiin Allahumma... And may my pregnancy pass quickly to you huh, Mai..." Kirana.

"Aamiin yes Mujib..."

From a distance Hidayat watched them. He smiled, but his throat was blocked to see Maira. He remembered how Maira sometimes wanted a baby to be present among them.

"It's good to see them get along, Yat?" Arya came from behind him.

"Don't you see the sadness on Maira's face?" Ask Hidayat.

"Sadness? Wh why? You guys aren't fighting, are you?" Arya asked with a look of surprise.

"We're not fighting, Bang... It's just that Maira is sad because we have not been blessed with children... Maira dreams in her sleep..." Hidayat.

Arya took a long breath. He also does not understand what to do if the child is the reason Maira is sad.

"Help the prayer, Bang... The more one prays, God willing, the greater the chance of God granting it..." Hidayat said hoping.

"Yes, Yath, you will always pray for you..." Arya answered while embracing Hidayat's shoulder. "But don't let your guard down... Your attention should be one hundred percent for Maira, no matter how busy you are out there. Don't leave Maira's mind empty, talk to her, joke, go for a walk or anything that pleases her. Maybe that way, being with you alone keeps her happy, and makes Maira sure without children you will still love her for good... Sometimes the reason a wife wants to have children, for fear that her husband will turn to another woman. She could also feel herself imperfect in the eyes of her own husband and those around her..."

Hidayat. Upon hearing Arya's explanation, she becomes aware that Maira's desire to have children is due to her own attitude as a cruel husband in the early days of their marriage.
