To fill her free time, Karen planted flowers in the garden behind the house. Today Karen lives alone. Rico and Arion have gone to work.
The woman's body was full of sweat. Karen sat in the garden when she felt tired.
Karen gulped down the orange juice that aunt made. His father called the woman, saying he would move to the village. Karen wanted to see him before her father left.
"What do you think, anyway?" ask someone to surprise Karen's daydream.
"Rican! You're home yet?"
"Yes, Honey. Why daydream? Tired of being home alone?" ask Rico. The man sat down next to Karen.
"I want to see Dad. He's leaving today for the village" Karen said.
"I'm taking you?"
"I'm afraid to ask permission from your papa."
"If Papi doesn't allow it, I'll talk. Meeting parents is not allowed."
Karen looked at Rico's face. The man did not seem to know who the Papi was. Karen's father was almost imprisoned for not paying debts. According to Karen's father, they were once friends.
Rico took the phone out of his pants pocket. Trying to contact the Papa.
"I'm going to take Karen home this afternoon. Just a little while because his father wanted to move to the village," said Rico, as soon as the phone was connected.
"alright. But don't be long" said Papi across the street.
"Thank you, Pi."
Rico then turned off his phone. She smiled at Karen.
"Now you change your clothes. I'm waiting in the car."
"Thank you, Rico," said Karen slowly. Holding back her tears. He is moved to realize that Rico's attention to him has not changed. The man was always trying to give him everything he wanted.
Half an hour later, they were on the road. Karen's eyes are always on the road, different from Rico's. His eyes kept staring at the woman.
After two hours of travel Karen and Rico finally reached the woman's rented house. A very simple house. Karen's father was just a factory worker. And finally chose to go home to work on his family's inheritance farm.
"You wanna come in?" karen asked to see Rico just shut up.
"Of course" said Rico.
Walking followed Karen who stepped towards her rented house. Karen knocked on the door of her house. Several times knocking still no legit.
Karen's circling the rented house. Seemed to be silent, no occupants.
"Did you leave?"
"You're trying to call my dad's phone again" Rico said.
Karen tried to call her father's cell phone number. However, it is inactive. The woman walked to the neighbor's house. It just so happened that one of them was outside.
"Mother Maya" said Karen.
"Karen. Not seen for a week."
"I live in the city now" said Karen.
None of the neighbors knew Karen was married. His father purposely hid all of that.
"Do you know where Dad is?" ask Karen. Rico, who was standing behind Karen's body, was silent, hearing the woman talking to her neighbor.
"Your father was just an hour ago. He said he wanted to go back to his hometown. Didn't your father say it?" ask Maya's mother.
"Dad didn't say when he was leaving, ma'am. Then I say goodbye first. Thank you, ma'am," Karen replied quietly.
Karen's body felt weak. He does not know where his father is. All he knows is the name of his country. During this time his father and mother had never brought Karen back to his father's village, he had only been to his mother's village.
