Chapter 28. Ask With Papi

Rico who is in his apartment intending to come to his Papi's house to apologize, he wants to try to find out Karen's whereabouts. Maybe with her apologizing, Papi Arion will tell where Karen is. Rico is worried that his father is doing something bad to Karen, because her Papi is currently angry.

"I have to lower my ego to know where Karen is. I have to see Papi right now" Rico said to himself. Although this is very difficult, but for Karen's sake she can do anything.

After thinking long and convincing himself, Rico finally left for Arion's house. Rico knows for sure when he is there Papi's welcome to him will be like, but he will still deal with it calmly and as much as possible does not involve his emotions.

Confidently, the young man began to sulk his car towards Arion's residence. Rico knows very well that his father is at home, otherwise Arion may be looking at where Karen is. During the journey to Arion's house, Rico hopes that he will succeed in persuading his Papi to tell her where Karen is.

Since the disappearance of Karen, Rico could not sleep at all quietly, she kept thinking about how Karen was doing. He hopes Arion doesn't do anything bad to Karen, no matter how Karen is.

Arriving at Arion's house, Rico just went inside. It was not difficult to find his Papi's whereabouts, as the man must have been in his study. While at the door of Arion's office, there is a little fear in Rico to get inside, he is still not ready for any more debate between himself and Papi Arion.

However, Rico has to go inside if he wants to know where Karen is. He did not want to waste too much time and let Karen just disappear, however this was also his fault. But, Karen had to endure everything herself.

After quite a long time standing in front of the door, Rico finally started to turn the door knob and went inside. He could immediately see Arion sitting in his study chair, the man stared intently at Rico.

"What are you coming here for?" asked Arion in a firm voice. The middle-aged man put down the document he was holding, then folded his hands over his chest.

"I-I came to apologize to Papi," Rico replied in a slightly trembling voice.

Arion who heard that only responded with a dismissive smile, even though Rico was his son. But for Arion his mistake cannot be forgiven, because it is too fatal.

"Do you know the reason for your apology?" Arion was playing his son a little.

Rico nodded. "Yes, Pi. I know it's my fault to stay in a relationship with the woman who's now Papi's wife."

If Rico can speak honestly, it feels like saying that sentence is very painful. She is still not willing to let Karen be a mother and see her along with her own father. Maybe if he wasn't worried about Karen, Rico wouldn't want to see Arion's face. But, he persisted for Karen.

Arion who heard that laughed, then again said, "It's good that you've realized your mistake, but for now Papi still can't accept your apology."

"By Papi! Whether to forgive me or not, but I came and said this in earnest" Rico said in a stifled voice.

"Then that's very good" Arion's response. The man applauded three times. "Now you're done, right? Then please get out of this room, because Papi's still a lot of work."

"No, Pi. There's still one more thing I want to ask." Rico ventured. The young man advanced one step closer to Arion's workbench.

The middle-aged man slightly tilted his head. "There again? What'sthat?" ask her with a non-serious tone of speech.

"Please tell me where Papi is hiding Karen?" ask Riko at last.

Arion who heard that was looking more and more at Rico, the middle-aged man did not like if his son was still worried about Karen. "Oh, so this is the real reason you're sorry?"

Arion looked at his son cynically. However he pleads, Arion will never tell the truth.
