Chapter 8. Papi's Not Worth It For You

Rico took a deep breath before speaking. However evil and depraved Arion is, he is still his parents. However, on the other hand there is a woman he loves who will be a victim of his Papi.

"Listen to me, Karen. Arion is my papa. But I won't cover up his crimes. He's not a good husband and he deserves you" Rico said.

"Why Papi Arion. A few days being his wife, he's being nice."

Rico smiled slanted at Karen. In every woman Arion is very good. All the women who knew him would definitely be interested in seeing his meek demeanor.

However, none of this applies to his mother Rico. The reason is only one, Arion has tired of his mother who is getting old and sickly. For Arion his mother was only a burden. The man had planned to leave his wife at the foundation.

"He's a player, Karen. Of course he knows how to make a woman fall for him. If his wife wasn't you, I wouldn't care. I love you so much, Karen. I wouldn't be happy if you were hurt."

"Sorry, Rico. I can't go back to you. Other than me signing the agreement, I also don't want you and your Papa to be hostile because of me."

"Karen, listen to me, honey. I'm willing to lose anyone, including Papi. Origin could have you. I'll be happy for you" said Rico.

Karen stood up from her seat. Look at her boyfriend with a smile.

"I can't, Rico. If you have proof that Arion is your female player, then I can file for divorce and that too if Papi Arion is willing. I can't sue for divorce first!"

After saying that, Karen stepped out leaving Rico alone. Entering the room and locking it. Scared if Rico comes in again.

Down the stairs slowly towards the dining table, Karen's footsteps stopped to look at Rico who had been waiting for her at the dining table.

Rico has determined not to give up on convincing Karen to want to cancel her marriage. The man had also calculated everything. If Karen wants to leave Papi Arion, then she must also prepare to face her parents.

Karen intended to turn back into the room, and asked for help from the aunt who delivered the food. However, her footsteps came to a halt as Rico pulled her hand and asked Karen to sit down.

"I learned to cook from the internet. This is all special to you. If something is bad, please understand. I just cooked this once. It's all for you. Do you remember, I promised I'd cook for you when we stayed. I kept my promise," said Rico.

Karen looked at the dining table. A simple menu is available. Egg and vegetable omlet, fried noodles and crackers. Maybe Rico deliberately cooked a simple menu that was easy for him. If only it had been done with her status as Rico's wife, Karen would have been very happy.

Karen remembers the promise Rico made when they watched a Korean drama, in which the man cooked for his wife. His girlfriend said he would do as in the drama when they were husband and wife.

Rico then brought rice, omlet and fried noodles for Karen. After that, take it for himself.

"Thank you." That's all that came out of Karen's mouth. I don't know what feelings he has right now. Whether happy or sad about this situation.

Rico smiled in silence, confident that he would be able to win Karen back. For love is still among them.
