Fade Condition
Alea was so shocked after hearing her husband's story saying that Linda was gone. What surprised Alea even more was Linda's threat to carry her sister's name.
After hearing the story from her husband, Alea immediately contacted her older sister Firda. As it turned out, Firda was in the same hospital as Alea at the moment.
Alea was sitting with her brother in front of Fade's intensive care room.
Alea unceasingly rubbed the back of her brother who just kept crying. He knew that Firda was devastated by the current events.
"I feel so guilty, Lea. For saving me, he got hurt bad." Lirih Firda while crying.
Alea nodded in understanding, she knew what happened after Firda's story.
"I know, Brother. It must have been a real pain to be you, but we can't do anything but pray for it. After all, that woman is dead, she will no longer do evil." Alea timpal soft.
Firda did not reply to his sister's words, he continued to stare at Fade's ward and hoped that all this was just a dream.
Had he received a ride from Fade without any debate, none of this would have happened.
Firda felt himself to be so stupid!
As the two were still waiting in front of Fade's intensive care room, Firda and Alea were shocked to hear the sound of someone's scream.
"Fade!!"
"Where is my son, Doctor!!"
A middle-aged woman shouted hysterically while calling out to Fade. Alea and Firda were both convinced that the woman was Fade's close family, or even his mother.
The old woman did not come alone, but with the man who was confirmed to be her husband. It is seen from how the man rubbed the woman's back while asking her to calm down.
Firda and Alea looked at each other for a while, they then got up from their seats as the old woman's gaze pointed at them.
"You!" the old woman pointed at Firda.
Firda gave her lips, she was even more convinced that this woman in front of her was Fade's mother.
In the past when he was dating Fade, Firda had never seen the figure of Fade's mother, directly or indirectly.
"Include, I .." Firda's speech about to introduce herself stopped.
"Firda, you're that girl, right? The girl my son always talks about?" asked the woman with her index finger in front of Firda's face.
Firda nodded stiffly. "Right, I'm Firda." Answer Firda slowly.
The man next to the woman then took a step forward and stared at Firda's horror.
"So you've made my son like this, you're the one who always refused his love, right?" ask the man with a slight snatch.
"Who do you think you are to dare to reject the love of my son, look how he is now. He was seriously injured for saving your life!" add the man.
Firda was surprised, but he was confused. How can both of Fade's parents get to know him, is it as often as Fade tells.
"Pa, don't talk like that." Tegur mama Fade's.
The woman looked at Firda, she threw a friendly smile at Firda who still looked confused.
"It's true said Fade, you're so beautiful." Said the woman while holding Firda's chin.
"Fade always told me, he said he was in love with a beautiful and kind girl. But he also said that the girl refused his love because of a mistake he made." The woman added telling stories.
Fade's mother clasped Firda's hand, her gaze so warm and shady towards the girl Fade loved so much.
"Fade loves you so much, he always says that he regrets believing the wrong person." Fade's mother said sincerely.
Firda remained silent, he felt even more guilty and completely stupid. Somehow Firda could not forgive Fade, not only because of the man's accusation, but also because of his cunning attitude that made his sister become what she is now.
"I'm sorry, Madam. I feel so guilty for putting Fade in such danger." Said Firda bowing her head politely.
"I'm sorry it's not enough, you have to take responsibility!" his papa Fade said firmly.
"I will definitely take responsibility, sir. What should I do?" ask Firda with resignation.
Before Fade's papa replied, a doctor suddenly came. The doctor carried a large envelope containing X-rays.
"Miss Firda, this is Mr. Fade's X-ray." The doctor gave me the big envelope.
"What happened to my son, Doc?" ask her mama Fade.
The doctor's face looked confused.
"They're your patient's parents, Doc." Clearly Alea, Firda was unable to explain due to the focus on seeing the X-ray results in his hands.
Doctor mangosteen, he then looked at one by one the people who were there to explain the results he brought.
"Because of the accident, Pak Fade's leg suffered a fracture injury in his shin, so it is likely that he will not be able to walk for a while." Obviously the doctor to everyone who was there.
Firda immediately felt unable to breathe. Fade couldn't walk, even if it was only temporary but still it would definitely make the man feel extremely devastated.
"What!!" shock the papa Fade.
"But my son will be able to walk again right, Doc?" ask mama Fade.
"Of course, Madam. With regular care and periodic check to the doctor." Answer the doctor.
"Sister." Call Alea quietly, resuscitating Firda from her silence.
"Fade can't walk, Lea. She can't walk because of me" Firda said softly.
"One more, Mr and Madam. Most likely Mr. Fade will lose some of his memory due to a pretty violent impact. It could be that he only remembered the events of last month, last year or a few years before." Obviously the doctor again.
"WHAT!" this time it was Firda who spoke, he was completely shocked to hear the explanation from the doctor.
"Doctor, can my son's memory come back completely?" Ask papa Fade.
"Of course, it can happen through medication or naturally. Clearly, please don't force her to remember." Answer doctor.
Firda immediately fell on the waiting chair, his right hand holding his chest which felt very tight.
"You really have to take responsibility, you have to be able to get my son to walk, and get his memories again!" Papa Fade said so firmly.
Firda said nothing, the girl was crying out loud even without a sound. Firda tried to hold back her crying voice, although honestly she wanted to scream as loud as possible.
Fade couldn't walk, and lost his memory.
