Chapters 13. Heartbroken Aisha

Both Ayesha's parents and Ayesha finally went to Damar's house. Make sure that what Aisha heard from Damar's mouth is the truth. If it is true that Damar is married, then the ongoing ta'aruf process must be ended.

Aisyah squeezes the robe she wears to reduce fear. He hoped that what Damar said was not true. Aisyah was more hopeful that this was just a nightmare she had.

Aisyah stepped down from the car reluctantly. He didn't want to believe and hear the truth from Damar's own parents. Aisha was unable and she was not ready to leave Damar's life.

They sit on couches that feel soft and also expensive. However, Aisyah's feelings were not calm. He thought of the many negative thoughts created from his own mind.

"Sir Andi, what's coming here this afternoon?" ask Damar's father who just came to the living room. He offered his hand to shake hands with his guests.

Aisyah's father stood up and welcomed Damar's father's hand. Then sit back after being invited to sit by the host.

Aisyah's father took a breath before making his point. "This is Mr. Ridwan, I have something to ask you. Is Damar really married?" tanyanya direct.

"Is Mr Ridwan underestimating us?" ask Aisyah's mother in a sharp tone.

The silent atmosphere became heated up because of Aisyah's emotional mother. Any mother would not be sincere when her daughter was deceived by a man. Moreover, the man had married another girl, while he was still in the process of ta'aruf with Aisyah.

Damar's father shook his head strongly, "It's not like that, Miss Karmila. There is a personal thing that requires Damar to marry the girl. I apologize on behalf of my son. Sorry the ta'aruf process between Nak Aisyah and my son has to end" he said regretfully.

"What's personal, Mr Ridwan? We certainly need to know this. You can't decide this ta'aruf process unilaterally. We need to know why." Aisyah's father spoke firmly with his hands folded. Stare quite sharply at Damar's father.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Andi. I can't tell you why. It's our family's personal matter." Damar's father replied softly, but firmly.

Aisyah's father tried hard not to be rude. For the sake of good manners and relationships of their families that are intertwined, make him not behave arbitrarily to this family. He still values their good relationship.

"Pak Ridwan, our families have known each other for ten years. I accepted the ta'aruf process between Nak Damar and my daughter because of our good relationship. So, when this ta'aruf process is stopped, I have the right to ask why." Aisyah's father asked in a fairly firm tone.

Dad let out a breath. It was hard to tell about his family's problems. Moreover, this was a disgrace to his family as well as the Naura family. However, Damar's father felt it was okay to tell this to Aisyah as well as her parents.

"The reason we married Damar is because of Damar—"

Damar's father stopped his speech because his tongue felt too faint to say it. He is still so heavy and unable to open the disgrace of his own family.

"Because Damar has impregnated the girl" said Damar's father.

Aisyah shed tears upon hearing a fact she had never imagined before. Of all the negative thoughts, it never occurred to him if Damar married because he impregnated the girl.

"Om Ridwan lied, right? Mas Damar couldn't possibly impregnate a girl." Aisyah shook her head strongly. He could not believe what Damar's father had said.

Aisha knew Damar very well. During the one year ta'aruf process, they rarely walked alone. Annisa—adik Damar—who always accompany them every time they want to meet. Damar never even touched a single strand of Aisha's hair. Damar couldn't have impregnated the girl.

Aisyah's mother hugged her daughter gently. He was also surprised to hear this truth. Can't believe Damar impregnated a girl. A righteous and devout man of religion like Damar could not have done such a lowly thing.

"I'm sorry my son, Mr. Andi. Here's the real fact. I hope the good relations between our two families are not strained because of this problem. I apologize profusely to your family." Damar's father put his palms together. Apologizing to all three of them.

Aisyah's father stood up quickly. Heedless of Damar's father's apology at all. He feels cheated and betrayed by the Damar family. Not telling them anything this important, and letting Aisyah know after everything happened.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Ridwan. I think our good relationship is enough to get here." Damar's father looked up and then stood up to see Aisyah and her parents leaving.

Damar's father closed his eyes in guilt and it also seemed that the good relationship between his family and Aisyah's family had been destroyed.

Along the way to the house, Aisyah did not stop crying. He was very disappointed in Damar. Aisyah has admired and loved Damar since the first time they met. Then the seeds of love grow along with the ta'aruf process they live.
