Chapter 25. Sophia Permit

Ethan is restless when Zion leaves him alone. It's easier to deal with a business partner than Olivette's parents. Zion is secretly in the category of unsettling men in Ethan's life.

When he finds out that the man is back with his flat face, Ethan becomes even more horrified. His efforts to get close to Olivette are likely to fall before it develops.

"Are you waiting for my answer?"

Ethan's throat was dry, choked, and it felt so tight. Especially when he came to get no drinks or anything in front of him. Either, this was indeed the Olivette family's way of receiving guests or deliberately torturing their guests.

"Come here!" Zion takes care of Maid instead of hearing Ethan's answer.

"Yes, Sir. What's up?" ask Maid.

"Prepare a drink and some small meals for our guests" he said warmed up.

"Good, Sir."

After the Maid leaves, Zion's focus returns to Ethan.

"You know why I let you go without food and drink?" ask Zion.

"No, Sir."

"For me to know how much you're waiting for my decision and it won't be against my daughter!"

Ethan salutes Zion's attitude towards his guests. Apparently she had a unique and exemplary way later on for her daughter.

When Maid delivered food and drinks, Zion immediately asked to put in front of her guests.

"Thank you" said Ethan.

"Please drink it before I answer your curiosity."

"I don't want to wait too long to get married. So, you can determine when the engagement takes place and the date of the wedding. Don't be too far from the engagement date. Besides, I want my daughter's life to be assured and you'll never hurt her like a stupid man before. Last condition, you're free to take my daughter wherever you like when she's officially her husband."

The conditions are so easy, but make Ethan's heart rhythm almost stop beating. He didn't expect it to be this fast.

"Alright, Sir. The engagement will be held a week from today. I'll ask my mom to take care of everything. Regarding the wedding date, I need to talk to my mama first."
