CHAPTER 18 ~ Test True Love ~

Athena woke up before the turn of time, as soon as her eyes opened immediately looked at Axel who was smiling towards her. Axel collapsed on his side with Athena resting on one hand.

"You're not sleeping ?" athena asked who was answered with a headband.

"What did you do all night ?" ask Athena.

"Waiting for you" Axel replied.

"Just waiting for me ? every day I sleep you just wait for me" asked Athena.

"Look at you" Axel said again.

"Why ? what are you looking at ?" ask Athena.

"I like to wait for you, I like to look at you" Axel replied.

Your lips, which I like best to look at your lips, inner Axel answered Athena's question.

Athena tilted her body towards Axel, just as the man rested on one hand.

"What if you have a boyfriend ? if you remember, are you going to look for it ?" said Athena.

"I don't think I have a boyfriend yet, I died very young Class X remind ?" axel

"It could be already have, you're handsome, there must be many who like you. Class X wasn't very young, I started to like Evan too since X" Athena said.

"What do you like about him ?" ask Axel.

Athena was stunned, puzzled herself to answer Axel's question.

If I say that handsome is for sure, but what else ? that time only ? is it because he's popular that many like so I follow like ? inner Athena.

Axel pushed Athena's forehead until the girl fell flat on her back.

"Had it answered a long time ago, say it because he is handsome, popular so want to get a person who likes many girls because it is a pride, right ?" answer Axel.

"If you already know why" said Athena directly covered her face with a pillow and facing the other direction.

Axel pulled Athena's shoulder to the side.

"What are we going to do now ?" ask Axel.

"We read Raihanna's diary again ?" ask Athena.

Axel nodded, Athena got up and took Raihanna's diary. Athena and Axel began to read

I'm late again, today should be the flag ceremony, back I walk to the side of the school. As I expected, you were there.

Smiling at me, I asked "Are you standing here every day ?"

you answered "Yes"

then I asked "Why ?"

you said "I'm scared, you're late and you came here" you said with a smile.

Do you know ? I feel like I want to hug you right away, you care so much about me.

The guy who became the idol of the school girls is waiting for me, every day, standing alone waiting for me ?

I asked why are you waiting for me?

You answered because you wanted to look at me.

You waited for me to look at me, every day.

I asked "why ?"

You say "because I like you"

Athena turned her head slowly towards Axel, the man looked back at her.

Axel was also waiting for me, he was also looking at me, did he like me too ? inner Athena.

Axel was looking at Athena, the man woke up and stood in front of the window, staring at the sky that was still dark but had brightly colored, then the man was down.

Maybe Athena questions my feelings, if I like her too, I like you Athena but I can't express it, Axel's inner self.

Athena moved towards Axel, slipped her hand, and leaned against the man's back. Athena put her hand on the man's chest. Axel was startled yet allowed even the man to smile. Axel hugged Athena's hand, they both harbored feelings.

Feelings hindered by different realms, different worlds. Athena could not deny her feelings that increasingly loved Axel, as well as Axel's feelings for Athena.

Athena seeks a diversion of her feelings for Evan, but Axel doesn't know it. Evan is Athena's first love and still loves her. Axel flipped over and cupped the girl's face.

"You must be happy, you can soon be Evan's partner, if he likes you he will declare love to you. You will soon be his girlfriend" Axel said with a bitter smile.

"You want me to be his girlfriend ?" ask Athena.

Axel nodded.

No, I don't want you to be his girlfriend, I'm not willing, inner Axel.

"I want anything that makes you happy" Axel said.

"Are you happy if I'm his girlfriend ?" ask Athena.

No, I'm sad Athena but I have no choice, inner Axel.

"I'll be happy, if you're happy" Axel replied with a bitter smile.

"Is there no reason for me to reject it ?" ask Athena.

"She was your first love until now you still love her, what's the reason you rejected her ?" ask Axel.

You, as long as you forbid me, I will reject it, inner Athena.

"I'm hallucinating, after all, how could Evan be expressing love, where might Evan want me to be my girlfriend, right Axel ?" athena asked with a laugh but a clear speck stuck in the corner of her eye.

"Don't cry she must like you, you're a good girl, you're beautiful and also smart let alone what a man wants, you're perfect Athena" Axel comforted Athena.

But Axel's words actually made the girl cry sobbing, she was even as excited. Axel, cupping the girl's face, Axel panicked, his comforting remarks were completely useless, Athena's crying became even more so.

Axel hugging Athena was very felt for him the shock of the girl's body. Athena pulled Axel's body tightly, she wanted to drown in his chest, Athena cried in Axel's chest. But the dawn broke, Axel slowly loomed. Athena ran to the bathroom, sitting slumped behind the door. His face rests on both knees.

After her crying subsided Athena got up and got ready for school. Mama Athena even saw the former eyes crying out Athena.

"What do you want, son ? you're crying ?" ask mama Athena.

"No, maybe lack of sleep ma" said Athena.

"If it's like that, your eyes should be compressed so that they don't become as hot as crying" suggested mama Athena.

Athena was delivered by her papa as usual, until at the end of the road to school the girl walked slowly while looking down. The streets were still deserted, Athena wanted to leave early.

Athena looked back at Axel who was walking after her. Axel's steps also stopped when the girl looked back.

Axel doesn't like me, he wants me to be with Evan, so what's the kiss for ? you playboy, he never dated, I'm sure during his life there must be a lot of his girlfriend, inner Athena then look back again.

It was still too early, Athena still did not want to enter the classroom. The girl remembered something then chose a circular path, Axel followed. Athena looked slowly at the wall of the school fence, observing the wall of the fence.

Where did they meet ? what part of the wall did Raihan's brother and Raihanna meet ? He said on the wall that the ground is higher ? that means over there, there is a former mound of earth piled up on the edge of the wall, the inner Athena.

Athena observed the wall, then tried to climb up by jumping. Athena looked troubled, of course very difficult for her because without any help. Seeing Athena in trouble, of course, Axel really wanted to help, but what the power of the man was only a shadow and if he let out his strength he would limp and it could make Athena angry.

"You want to go up there ? do I want to help you ?"

Athena was startled and turned her head, Evan standing behind her with a smile. Athena glanced at Axel who looked at Athena with a sad look.

"No, for what ? I can still enter through the front gate" said Athena while looking at the wall.

"You know there are myths here, myths that developed in this school" said Evan.

"What's that myth ?" ask Athena curious.

"If any couple can get through this wall then they will be true love" Evan said.

"Why ? why can it be true love, how is the story ?" ask Athena.

Athena knows that the story of Raihan and Raihanna is a tragic one. Then why is there a true love story on this wall.

"On the wall there is a carving of the names of lovers, the man who carved it" Evan told the story.

"Who is the name of the couple ?" ask Athena.

"No idea, only couples who have passed through the wall know and they can't mention it to anyone. Although the couple has made it through this wall and read their name they will not be true love even will break up immediately if they mention the two names of the couple" Evan story.

"There are those who dare to try it, they believe their love is very strong and the myth does not apply to them, they mention the name of the couple. Their love is strong, they are loyal even though many of their obstacles remain together, but unfortunately, finally the man died because of an accident" Evan told me.

Athena was shocked to cover her mouth with her hand.

"Then why climb there and read their names when they finally separated" said Athena.

"Because if you go up there and read their names but do not unpack the name of the couple then their love will be true love" said Evan.

"I don't believe I need to climb the wall to make my love a true love" Athena said.

Axel smile.

"Failure, many think like you. But many also try it" said Evan.

"Then what about those who try it, what really becomes true love ?" ask Athena.

"Yes, the alumni who claimed to pass through this wall married and lived happily" said Evan.

Does it only apply to humans ? me and Axel through is it possible to stay together ? geez, why do I have to think about Axel ? I should have hoped to have true love with Evan, the inner Athena.

"Have you ever crossed this wall ?" ask Athena.

"Nobody dared to come here" Evan replied.

"Are you going to go through this wall ?" ask Athena.

"I want, if you want, I'll help you too" Evan said.

"I don't want to" said Athena.

"Then you don't really like me that much" Evan said.

Perhaps, if I were serious, hearing that there is a myth of true love like this I would first take you through this wall, the inner Athena.

"Then ? do you seriously want to be my true love ?" ask Athena.

"Why not, you're beautiful and smart, why don't I want to be your true love ?" ask Evan.

*words that make people soar, but why am I not interested ? why am I so afraid of being tied to him ? inner Athena.

"I don't have to go through these walls to prove my love" said Athena.

"Of course it's not necessary, because even now it can prove it" Evan said as he pushed Athena against the wall.

Evan turned his lips to Athena's lips, the girl was fixated, holding her breath. But suddenly Athena's eyes looked at Axel who was smiling and then turned his eyes to another direction.

"Evan, I think it's time to go in" said Athena.

Athena's words stopped Evan from approaching Athens.

"No, there's still time" Evan said as he cupped Athena's face back to her lips.

The bell rang.

"That's the bell, let's go to class" said Athena immediately free herself from Evan.

"Saved by the bell" Evan said as he looked at Athena who hurriedly entered the classroom.

Athena looked back, at the wall where she had been standing. On top of the wall sat the ghost of Raihanna looking blankly straight ahead.

Hiii.. there he is, that's where I stand, why didn't I see him ? hii serem.., inner Athena immediately ran from that place.

Athena went straight to her class, then saw Axel walking casually into her class and sitting on an empty bench in the back.

"Hey, see what ?" ask Kimmy.

"No, uh Kim, you know the myth of the sidewall of the school ?" ask Athena.

"Denger, but it's a dating place that wants to test his true love. Reportedly, the place was often the meeting place of lovers whose relationship ended tragically. The guy gets kicked out of school and the girl kills herself" Kimmy tells.

"Why the story is different anyway, he said if you can pass the wall with a partner can be true love ?" ask Athena.

Perhaps what Kimmy tells us is the story of Raihan's brother and Raihanna's brother, although Raihanna's brother did not intend to commit suicide but people thought he committed suicide by taking a lot of the drug, the inner Athena.

"Why is it ? you were there ?" asked Kimmy who was answered with a nod by Athena.

"Only ?" ask Kimmy again.

"Just like Evan" replied Athena.

"You want to try that myth with Evan ?" ask Kimmy.

"No, I don't dare" said Athena.

"The word is true love, he said hidden love from since class X, was invited to test the earnest love of Evan instead did not want" said Kimmy.

Athena just wanted to refute Kimmy but the teacher went in, they followed the lesson. Athena glanced at Axel at the back, the man was looking at her. Athena felt guilty like someone who was caught cheating.

At the turn of time in her room, Athena explains the situation that she has no intention of meeting Evan and has no intention of even kissing Evan.

"Why do you explain it to me, it's not natural that if you're happy to meet him, why you refused to kiss him, that's not what you expected, can make out with him" said Axel upset.

Athena was stunned, her heart intention explained that Axel did not misunderstand her instead got an outpouring of anger from Axel.
